Perfect day - perfect band! We had Soul Dynamic (from Vinyl Jam Entertainment) at our wedding in Sonoma, California. They were a standout hit and made our wedding the best night of our lives.
From a band quality standpoint - this band means business! They do a sound check before and are extremely professional. They have a very long list of songs they play. I am very picky with music, and they made sure to follow the strict list I asked for. In addition to that, they learned 7 new songs just for our wedding (!!!!)
They knew how to play the crowd. Not only that, one of our attendees recognized one of the singers from Instagram - turns out she's lowkey famous. Wild!
From an administrative standpoint - Will Makar was the easiest vendor to work with. We managed the whole process via email, and he was always prompt to reply and clear with his communication. Planning a wedding is already a huge hassle, and he made the whole process easy.
I wish I was planning another big event, so I could hire this band again. You won't go wrong with them.

I can't recommend Vinyl Jams enough! If you're looking for more than a band, but a true partner in your event planning, Will Makar and Vinyl Jams are it! I reached out to every top-rated band in LA and researched for weeks. I did my homework and my honest feedback is that Vinyl Jam is the best out there. Besides the important requirements of being reliable and communicative, they are also the nicest and most talented people. We booked Vinyl Jam for our wedding reception and from the very beginning, Will was so easy to work with. He offered advice on every aspect of the planning process and was open to my ideas as well.
Above all else, this team knows how to put on a show!! They got everyone on the dance floor, including themselves! The number one piece of feedback that I received from all guests was how much they loved their performance. They truly MADE the entire night! I'm so thankful and this truly was the best night of my life.

Vinyl Jam performed at my brother’s wedding and they were absolutely brilliant! The talent of the group shone through with their perfect song choices that kept the night flowing in the best way. There was a little something for everyone! Would definitely recommend them for any kind of function you would like some great live music.

I can’t recommend Soul Dynamic enough for anyone looking for a high-energy live band for their event. From start to finish, they had the crowd dancing and singing along to every song. But what really stood out to me was their willingness to go above and beyond to make our wedding day special.
When we first met with the band, we mentioned some of our favorite artists and songs, hoping they might include a few in their set list. We have some specific taste in music, and to our surprise, they offered to learn and perform them live at our reception. We were blown away by their dedication and attention to detail.
On the night of our wedding, as soon as the band started playing our favorite songs, we knew we were in for a treat. They sounded amazing, and their energy was through the roof. No matter the event, I cannot recommend Vinyl Jam enough! They were an absolute joy to work with and brought an incredible amount of energy to the party. From the moment they began playing, guests were out on the dance floor and stayed there all night. I have never seen a band be so successful in making a crowd dance!

I work in the entertainment industry. I had the pleasure of working with Vinyl Jam last year for an event at Disney. They may be the most talented group of individuals I’ve ever worked with. Many of these singers and musicians are considered the best in the world! I found out one singer is in the soundtrack for the new Disney firework show, and another is singing with Carrie Underwood. It really is MIND BLOWING how good they are! They bring high energy to every party and come out on the dance floor to keep the party moving! Because of this, I’m hiring them for my own wedding, and we suggest you do the same! There is nothing more valuable than the memory created by a band. We chose Soul Dynamic, and this was the best decision we made for our wedding! We started looking at live music options early in the planning process. However, no company had the vision I had in mind. My friend suggested Vinyl Jam and after seeing their videos, I knew I had to hire them!
They’re incredibly easy to work with and help make the process easy and fun! On top of this, their professionalism and talent transformed our wedding into a show!!!! Their ability to perform our requested songs at the highest level was incredible. Everyone in the band had us singing and dancing the entire night. There is no one better than this band. If Vinyl Jam is possible for you, hire them as soon as possible!

This company was very professional in the party planning process. We asked for a jazz band for my husband’s birthday. They not only provided that, but agreed to go to dance music later in the night. They handled this transition flawlessly. Vinyl Jam proved to be a very professional vendor. They quickly responded to questions, their quote was clear, the setup was easy, and the performance was wonderful. We couldn’t imagine a party without Vinyl Jam.
Soul Dynamic and Vinyl Jam were Fantastic! Will was easy to work with, answering my millions of questions, and customizing the song selection to our needs. The band also create amazing arrangements for the songs, which made the band that much better. Everyone kept telling me my wedding ‘felt like a concert’, and that ‘this is the best band ever’. Just hire them! You will not be disappointed if you do!

From when we first met to discuss music, Will and Kazumi made the entire process so easy. Their experience was clear and the band was perfect! Soul Dynamic arrived early to make sure their sound was great, and turned out to be the best band I've ever heard. They interacted with the crowd by joining us on the dance floor and our friends are still asking about them. GO HIRE THEM! It's worth it!
We hired Will and his band for a fundraiser for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation held at our winery. They knocked it out of the park. Their sound was amazing, their interaction with the crowd was spot on and their song selections perfectly executed! We are still getting compliments on hiring them. Their booking process was so easy and always quick responses from Will. I would not hesitate one bit in hiring Vinyl Jam for any future events!

The artistry and professionalism of the band was first rate, and on more than one occasion VJ went FAR out of their way to make the night incredibly special for us.

We saw the band playing before a LA “Galaxy “ game in May. They absolutely were so entertaining that we were sad when the soccer game started and they stopped playing. We definitely will be hiring them for an event next spring to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
I found myself lost for words in how happy we are in hiring Vinyl Jam. This band is literally the best wedding band you will ever hear or see. I can not recommend them more! They created such a fun, energetic atmosphere, by coming out on the dance floor. Not only that, their singers are better than the original artists. Hire them! Just do it! It’s so so worth it!
We hired Vinyl Jam for our wedding on June 4th, and I can not recommend them more. This band is absolutely incredible! First they provided live music for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and absolutely delivered in every way! However, there was no better moment than when the band started during our reception! They were the best wedding band I’ve ever heard, and genuinely blew me away in their Professionalism. I mean… they even came out on the dance floor and got our guests involved in dance routines on certain songs!! I still have people talking about how fun my wedding was. We are so, so happy that we booked them and absolutely recommend them!

YOU NEED TO HIRE THIS BAND! After we got engaged, we knew we needed a great band to be the life of the party and get everyone dancing. Vinyl Project delivered and was so professional from start to finish. We first saw this band at an LA Galaxy game, where they performed at a tailgating party. We instantly knew they were the band for us. Will immediately provided us the Vinyl Jam website, and we chose Vinyl Project cause of their INSANE talent. I mean, Will was on American Idol and Jackie was on The Voice!!! They also provided a small trio for our cocktail hour, performing beautiful acoustic music. The band was genuinely the life of our reception! They made our wedding the best day ever!!
STOP looking for any other performers...Vinyl Jam Entertainment is the only name you need to remember from this point on. We hired the Soul Dynamic and there are not enough words to express how happy we are with this band!! Our wedding was up in Napa and they drove up from LA to make our wedding reception the best party I’ve ever been a part of. They were simply amazing!!! Our guests were everyone from ages 20 to 70 and their list of songs was extremely diverse, giving EVERYONE music to dance to. After the wedding, everyone kept asking about the band. For weeks, the comments were on how much fun the band was. If you want an atmosphere of fun at your reception, I strongly suggest you hire this band!

Thinking about having live music at a wedding gave me mental images of tacky 70's vibe groups, with old set lists, and no energy. It wasn't the most enticing option, so my default was to always just go with a DJ who could play the crowd favorites of my generation. That was before I saw Vinyl Jam perform. And OH. MY. GOSH. time for some reframing!! Not only did they bring the most incredible musical talent, but they were fresh, classy, and FUN! They performed songs I knew and could sing along with them, hands in the air, enjoying every moment because it felt like a live concert with all of my favorite artists. Vinyl Jam brings professionalism and integrity to their process, while also making you feel like they can't wait to celebrate your day in perfect style and class!

The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Soul Dynamic! Our wedding was a month ago and people are still talking about this band. They helped keep the wedding planning process smooth and were very honest in the contract negotiation. They helped guide us through the schedule with our planner and we didn’t have to worry about anything! Before the wedding started, our biggest fear was people feeling the wedding was boring, but everyone danced all night!! Even my grandmother busted moves I’ve never seen before!! HA! Everything was just perfect! I want to re-live my wedding every day. I definitely recommend you hire this band!

Vinyl Project can throw a party!! We hired this band because of their amazing talent and they were total professionals. They knew how to plan a party with our wedding planners and the wedding ended up better than I could have imagined. They learned every song we needed for our first dances and even allowed us to choose some songs for the reception! Their MC was hilarious, and he helped keep the party pumping! No matter what your party is, they are the best band you will find. I can’t thank them enough for contributing to my wedding. Just hire them! You’ll thank me later!
