Searching for wedding vendors can often feel like an endless cycle between three options: (1) submitting an inquiry form and never hearing back; (2) submitting an inquiry form and getting a quote that is completely out of your budget; and (3) finding someone that checks some of the boxes you’re looking for, but doesn’t quite have everything that’s important to you. But every so often, lightning will strike and you will meet someone like Mallory and Violet Florals—and you are left astonished, wondering “where have you been and how did I get so lucky to find you?” Violet Florals offers everything you could want and more in a wedding florist. First, Mallory is an absolute floral maestro—her blooms and arrangements are so much more lovely, unique, vibrant, elegant, and dynamic than any other wedding flowers that I saw on the market. Second, the services she offers are incredibly thoughtful and client-forward. I could not find any other florist that was (1) within the same price neighborhood; (2) offered delivery, set-up, and breakdown at the venue, rather than making you or your planner pick up and/or tear down the flowers yourself; and (3) still allowed for personalized design, rather than limiting you to certain pre-fixed options. Additionally, as another example of how she goes above and beyond for her clients, Mallory made time in her schedule for us to drop by her studio so that we could look at rentals options in-person (which was especially helpful for me, as someone who didn’t know what a votive was before that appointment). But most of all, Mallory is unbelievably kind, empathetic, and genuinely cares about the people and world around her. For example, she has a strong commitment to using locally grown flowers and sustainable materials. Additionally, from the initial phone consultation to subsequent email exchanges, you can tell that Mallory is passionate about learning what’s important to you. For us, once she learned that my husband is an avid native-plant gardener, Mallory was very enthusiastic about finding ways to incorporate his plants into our wedding—and she ended up being able to use some of his blooms in our ceremony arch! Mallory and her team work so hard not just to provide you with stunning flowers, but also to provide flowers that are good for the world and can bring your love story to life. Looking back on our day, we truly cannot overstate how grateful we are to Violet Florals and how beautiful and magical they helped make it. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
