Violetta Strings was AMAZING at our December, Christmasy wedding. They were able to accommodate our requests for the ceremony music and performed beautifully. After discussing the overall theme of our wedding they complemented our small reception perfectly and we had numerous guests commenting on how wonderful the music was and questioning where we found them, which we were happy to share! We were beyond pleased with Violetta Strings and definitely recommend them for live music at your event!

We booked Violetta Strings for our wedding ceremony. From my first message to the day of the wedding, Evan was fantastic to work with and very quick with every response sent. When choosing our prelude and ceremony songs, Violetta Strings was flexible and pleasantly agreed to play some songs that were not on their song list, which we were very excited about (Evan was also very kind and considerate with having to work with an accompanist and additional member from our church, even when our church was being very difficult to work with a few weeks and even a week up to the wedding). Evan put me at ease with every response she sent, reassuring me that the music we chose will be played and that all will be well- and it was! Each song they played for the prelude music and during the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and their vocalist was also amazing!! We had many people tell us how beautiful they sounded! I was very happy I made the choice to book with Violetta Strings for our wedding ceremony!

Violetta Strings was great to work with! Our ceremony venue was in a theatre which already had a piano, so we simply booked a solo pianist. Since we got married in a theatre, we wanted the songs played to primarily be from musicals. Evan worked with us to create a playlist and she even learned some new music that was special to us. She was also on time and did a great job during the ceremony. My only regret is I wasn't able to tell her thank you in person!

I was in touch with Evan regarding a string trio for my outdoor wedding ceremony. As I was planning my wedding from overseas, contact was limited, but every time we spoke or emailed she was helpful and pleasant. I had one song request that was not in the Violetta Strings' repertoire, and they were happy to learn it for a very reasonable fee. Evan helped me plan the processional and recessional music, but I just gave her a general sense of what we liked for the music prior to the wedding and she totally nailed it. During the wedding itself, the Violetta Strings were fantastic. They did an excellent job, and sounded lovely. One of our guests is a music teacher, and she commented that the music was beautiful, non-traditional, and absolutely perfect for our wedding atmosphere. I really appreciate their fantastic sound. The Violetta Strings definitely added that much more elegance and beauty to my wedding, and I am truly grateful. Thank you!!!

Based upon a recommendation, I hired VIoletta Strings to perform with a soloist at my daughter's wedding. They are true professionals, and could not have done a better job. They went out of their way to perform a song that my daughter wanted that was not on their playlist (A Thousand Years), and they played it as if they had been playing it for years. All evening long, guests commented on how beautiful the music was and how much it added to the ceremony. I could not give them a higher rating or a better recommendation.

I contacted Violetta Strings to perform for my wedding ceremony at Danforth Chapel on KU's campus. My wife had very specific music selections she wanted, and the trio played them perfectly. We had the trio play some classical music while guests were being seated. They also played all the songs while the wedding party walked down the aisle.
