Mike's music was just gorgeous! We wanted something special for the ceremony, to really set the tone, and the violin music did just that! I could hear it begin from where I was waiting and while my nerves were just shot, it helped soothe me in one of my more anxious moments. :) And hearing my song begin was an especially fun moment for the wedding day! We are still getting compliments from our guests on what a great add the violinist was! I would highly recommend for an extra "wow" factor, hire Mike! :) Like some of the other reviewers, we too were out-of-state and were able to easily communicate and coordinate all necessary aspects with him half-way across the country from one-another! He was a pleasure to work with!

My husband and I hired Mike for our wedding in Dec 2015. We were planning a destination wedding so we had never met with him in person, we only communicated via email and eventually by phone. Very professional, friendly and open to any kind of music suggestion! We asked to have 2 specific songs played during the processional ("Book of Love" and "Falling Slowly") and Mike came up with the tracks and sent it over via email to have it approved. It turned out wonderful, and sounded so beautiful during the ceremony. A few days before the wedding Mike called to finalize the music. He was so friendly and willing to work on some things last minute. We couldn't have been happier with having Mike perform the music at our wedding. It really added a type of beauty that we will never forget. Truly talented! Definitely have him play at whatever function you're planning :) Thank you for being so wonderful, Mike!

I could not be more pleased with my choice of Michael Prokes as our wedding musician. He was beyond words in all aspects. I myself am also from a music background so I am very picky when it comes to musical talent. From the moment I first contacted Michael he was friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond and learned one of my favorite songs just by my mention. Michael is also very reasonably priced given his extensive level of talent which includes the Phoenix Symphony and Phoenix Opera! Michael required very little guidance from me (which was a refreshing change from many other vendors that required extensive “babysitting”) but was also open to any feedback and direction I offered. Michael arrived early on the wedding day to set-up, looking very professional in a tuxedo and was playing when my guests began arriving.
