My husband, friends, and family all traveled down from Wisconsin for our wedding and I can honestly say I don’t think our wedding would’ve been the same without Dewayne & Geoff. Every call we had with them prior, they are beyond helpful and so so kind! They went above and beyond for us! They absolutely killed it and we had a blast! Everyone kept coming up to us asking how we found them because they were amazing! We 1000% recommend them to anyone in the area!

Working with VIP for our wedding and reception was fun and seamless! They were quick to communicate and had a website to fill everything out from the timeline minute by minute to the playlist with hundreds of songs to choose from. When it came down to the wedding day, they were so nice and friendly and went with ease as the day went on. They played the music for the ceremony and then were ready to party during the reception. They played every song from the playlist and knew exactly what else to play in between. Not only did me and my husband enjoy them but I know all of my guests did as well. I’m new to the area and went based off of reviews to hire VIP and I hope my review gets through to other future brides/ party planners because I’d recommend them for any occasion in need of a fun and professional DJ!

Dewayne and his staff were amazing!! He was extremely patient with me as I worked through my song choices and changed my mind several times! His equipment is advanced, modern, and supported all of our technical needs. He did and excellent job emceeing and filling in on the program when we needed him. His work is excellent!

My husband and I booked them for our wedding and it was the best decision ever! They were extremely organized and the night went so smoothly. The dance floor was full the entire time!

My fiancé and I hired Dewayne & Geoff for our wedding! They were great and our dance floor was packed! A soul train line was even formed (not planned) and it was a blast! They listened to what we wanted, and executed it perfectly. During our ceremony, we wanted the traditional wedding march, then switched to a fun song to surprise our guests, and it went smoothly. Their pricing is great too!

Dewayne and his crew were absolutely amazing! He helped with every step of the planning process and was always willing to answer any questions I had. I recently worked with Steve and Geoff for a wedding I planned at the Heyward House in Old Town Bluffton. They were a pleasure to work with! Professional, fun, and talk about knowing how to entertain a crowd! Dewayne was absolutely excellent. From reaching out immediately with a quote and to ask me what I was looking for. Quickly and easily signing a contracting and booking. I had a phone call prior to the wedding to get all the songs and details together and he was just so amazing and easy to work with. Now the wedding night, everything was PERFECT!!!! Absolutely no complaints. Every song I requested was there and the songs he played through the night were great. My guests were able to requests songs through the night and it was such a fun time. Best night ever and so thankful for Dewayne. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Our DJ services from VIP Entertainment in Savannah, GA were amazing. Dewayne took a lot of time to make sure that we had the right songs with the right portion of our wedding and was 100% perfect. THis DJ service came with a complete set up, did a personalize logo for us and keep the night rocking all night long. One of the best decisions we made for the wedding.

Dewayne & Geoff were awesome! We had an absolute blast at our wedding. After helping us wrangle everyone together for our pictures and other important wedding things before the party Dewayne got the party started in a big way. He was an excellent and assisting MC. When the music started playing we didn’t leave the dance floor, as my friends created dance circles and started to get wild he knew the exact moments to fade out and change songs consistent with the vibe on the dance floor. So many of our guests raved about how much fun they had dancing and getting crazy with us! We could not recommend them any higher! Any request we had was incorporated and the preparation was very clearly thought out. A large Thank you the entire VIP Disc Jockey Entertainment team for a great time!

Dewayne and Geoff were absolute phenomenal to work with. Communication was exceptional without feeling overbearing and they followed up in a timely manner. I wanted for nothing because they handled everything for my husband and I. Geoff was a wonderful D.J. He had everyone, including my parents, up and dancing! My wife and I cannot recommend VIP Entertainment enough for your big day! Dewayne DJ'd our wedding in Savannah this May and was the consummate professional throughout. Leading up to the event, Dewayne was extremely communicative and persistent in getting the details right so that he could achieve the event we wanted. On the day of, we could not have been more happy with the job the VIP team did to set the tone for the ceremony and reception. VIP found the right notes the whole evening to move from our vows through to a full-fledged party by the end. I'll give two specific shout outs for our event that show VIP's dedication to giving you the event you want: 1. Dewayne and VIP enabled our very Taylor Swift heavy playlist with specific requests for Taylor's version wherever possible. 2. The team tuned up three instrumental versions of Backstreet Boys + lighting cues to enable our Maid of Honor's toast. They truly went above and beyond for us throughout the planning and event. We will recommend them to all couple 10 out of 10 times.

Dewayne & Geoff were great at our wedding. They knew how to keep the energy going and kept the crowd dancing the whole time. They included dance floor lighting & mics as we said our vows which was *chefs kiss* perfect! They are also super organized. They had a portal to add songs to your ceremony/reception list. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend VIP Entertainment for your next event! In fact, I could not wait to write this review. For their wedding reception, our daughter and son-in-law wanted a festive party atmosphere with food stations and flexible seating so they could focus on dancing the night away. VIP Entertainment was incredible! In addition to pre-wedding attention to detail and organization for lighting choices and party planning, the actual event was spot-on! Dewayne and Geoff keep the dance floor vibrant and alive. They were helpful as MC and executed the first dances flawlessly, including an organized line dance for the wedding party with introductions in the middle of it. With a jammed packed schedule before the big day, Dewayne was flexible with his pre-event interview; his professionalism and expertise contributed to a night we will never forget. The dance floor was packed for almost every song and the mood was euphoric. They were prompt, polite, resourceful, professional, and responsive. In short, they delivered what was promised! If we ever have a need for a DJ host for any reason, it will be VIP Entertainment.

These guys are the BEST! They provided excellent communication and thoughtful advice where I needed it and were just all around amazing. They made our reception so fun that literally everyone was on the dance floor all night! They fulfilled any song request and were just the sweetest guys ever. I highly, highly recommend them! Dewayne VIP was the best DJ we ever had. He was extremely professional and upbeat. Dewayne knows his style of music and had everyone dancing on the floor. Timelines of dances were well coordinated. I never write reviews, but DJ DeWayne needs one! This was by far the best DJ I have ever seen and was the biggest hit at our wedding. We really wanted a band, but couldn't afford it but looking back we really lucked out because DJ DeWayne is better than any band. He played all the songs we wanted at the perfect times. He got the crowd up and dancing right away. He played the best music and did the best introduction but all in a way of not bringing the attention to himself. Its evident that he is truly passionate about his work and it was an honor to have him on our special day. From his responsiveness, introduction, energy, and the up lighting - everything was perfect! HIRE THEM NOW - you will not be disappointed!!!

Dewayne & Geoff with VIP Entertainment were amazing. They were professional and very easy to deal with (even though we changed multiple things and sent them to the wrong address)! Their website has everything laid out for planning with no details left to chance. The most important part was the party! They kept everyone on the dance floor and fully engaged the whole night! Guests from 20-70 yr olds all commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had at the party! We can't thank them enough for making it an unforgettable night!

This was by far one of our favorite parts of our wedding! Dewayne made sure everything ran smooth! There were no hiccups in the audio during the ceremony or reception. Everything was perfect and he kept the atmosphere fun and kept the party going until it was time to go home! I cannot recommend this company enough! You won't regret it!

Dewayne spoke with us in the phone twice to ensure our needs were met for both ceremony and reception music and followed through magnificently day-of! Among most of our friends and guests, we were one of the first "normal" weddings they were attending since COVID started. I was so worried that nobody would want to dance (although most of our guests were vaccinated). Well... with DJ Dewayne and VIP Entertainment, I did not need to worry! The dance floor was packed all night and seriously... even when we (the bride and groom) were off at the bar, people still kept dancing. We shut the place down. Pricing was also very reasonable compared to other DJ vendors. We're so glad we hired VIP Entertainment!

My Husband and I struck gold when we found VIP Entertainment on The Knot to DJ for our 5/8/2021 wedding. What we found is that their service extends far beyond great music! From the time I inquired with VIP regarding availability and pricing, Dewayne was professional and helpful. He always responded in a timely manner. He would check in with us occasionally while we were still deciding to see if we had any questions. The Client Portal was sooo detailed! It covered every aspect of our day from the arrival of guests to the last song. We actually used it as a guide while planning our day. And the music! Let’s just say Dewayne and Geoff got the party started!! Our guests ranged from north, south, young, and seasoned and they had something for everyone. They were like family. Everyone loved them. Thanks for making our day special.

Dwayne and Geoff EXCEEDED our expectations. They knew what we wanted and delivered way above abd beyond. Our guests are still talking about the great DJ. We had guestd who we thought would not dance much...Well, we were wrong. Dewayne and Geoff had us ot there dancing and having a blast to the point that we did not want the night to end. Their fun personalities were contagious. It was night that only dreams are made of.

DeWayne made our wedding better than expected! I had already heard such great things about him from our venue coordinator and he definitely beat our expectations! He got everyone up and dancing throughout the night. My favorite and most memorable part was when he played the Mandolorian theme song for my husband as we cut his grooms cake! Dewayne did an amazing job as our DJ for our wedding reception!! I’ve never been to a wedding where so many people stayed through the end of the reception because they didn’t want to leave the dance floor. He followed every request we made and was more than communicative leading up to our big day. Having guests text a song request as a covid precaution is also a very nice touch! I would highly recommend VIP Entertainment for your reception! They are awesome!!

Best DJ around! We gave them a music vibe that we wanted and a few songs that we definitely wanted to play at our wedding and they went above and beyond! The music was great and no one wanted to leave the dance floor! I’m so glad that we chose them to do our wedding!

Where do we even begin! We absolutely loved working with Dewayne, Geoff, and Steve at VIP DJ Entertainment. Dewayne was very responsive while we were planning our wedding day, answering any and all the questions we had while planning, along with an extensive phone call prior to our wedding day to talk about the logistics. We entrusted VIP DJ Entertainment with all things related to announcements and music for the wedding day and were extremely pleased with them. They worked well with our day-of coordinators and made sure all we had to do was dance the night away with our guests! 100% recommend VIP DJ Entertainment! Thank you, VIP DJ Entertainment!

We had a positive experience with Dewayne and Geoff. They used all the songs we requested for the ceremony and hit most of the ones we requested the rest of the night. I had a plan for the song I used to walk down the aisle (I was planning to enter at a certain time--didn't know he would be able to trim it!), and I requested we extend the cut of the song he was planning to use the night before the wedding and add a different song for the bridesmaids' entrance after the rehearsal since the walk was longer than I anticipated. (This is what he told me to do initially--should have listened to the expert!) Dewayne was able to get the extra song added so we didn't have to loop the same song over. My dad and I had to hurry a little for my song, as it started right when I planned to enter. However, I blame that on myself for not better communicating my wishes for that song and thank Dewayne for working with my complicated request! They asked for a ton of detail prior to the wedding and pushed me to get this finalized a few weeks prior to the wedding, which surprised me but showed how prepared they were for the event. I appreciated that there were two of them working the wedding, as it allowed Dewayne to test volume levels while Geoff went to other rooms to see if adjustments needed to be made. Geoff also handled introductions and was great about having Dewayne fade out songs when we were done with some of the dances. (our first dance song was a little too long for me to be the center of dancing attention, and my dad's song choice for our dance was 7 minutes long--woof!) The two made a great team! There were a few minor hiccups during the reception of songs being repeated/our first reception song request being missed, but our guests barely noticed and didn't seem to mind. Overall, Dewayne did a great job of keeping the party going and transitioning from fast to slow songs, and several people mentioned to me how great they thought the DJ was that night. He had some newer stuff for our younger guests, but then he also looped in classics that our parents loved and everyone else has grown to appreciate. It felt like a great mix of "old and new." I highly recommend Dewayne and Geoff! I appreciate them trying to accommodate as many of my last minute requests as possible and for them doing such a great job with managing the flow of the event!

Wow! What a wonderful experience. My Husband and I got married on 2-1-2020 and Dewayne and his team were our reception DJ. From the moment I reached out to them until the week after the reception, VIP has been nothing less than remarkable. They are very easy to communicate with to begin with. They respond in a timely manner and always answer every question you have. They keep in touch throughout the course of your engagement until the big day! Their costs are unbeatable and their services are 100 % as advertised. I would give more than 5 stars if possible! The music selection is perfect and they go into detail of what you want played for every second of your reception. The lighting they supply is beautiful. We had our monogram displayed on the wall it it turned out beautifully. Our guests were always on the dance floor enjoying the evening! I wish I could go back in time and do it again, and I would still chose VIP! I highly recommend to all future bride’s or anyone planning a great party in need of a fantastic and very reliable DJ! This past weekend we had our daughter's and son in law's vow renewal celebration down in Savannah with VIP Entertainment, specifically Dwayne and Steve DJing for us. What a blast! Dwayne and Steve were incredibly professional and easy to work with all the way through. When we first arrived it was cocktail hour and with the jazz music playing in the background our guests were milling about chatting it up, having some cocktails and great hors d'oeuvres. Not to sound cliche but the entire atmosphere was magical and the Dwayne's music and lighting played a huge part in setting the stage. Dinner was served and announcements were made exactly as the bride and groom had wanted. The bride is not one to enjoy the center of attention and after Dwayne and Steve got to know her better over the past year of planning they knew the right amount of excitement for her personality. Every detail of the bride and groom's entrance, the father of the groom's blessing of the food, the cake cutting and the best man and maid or honor's speech were done to perfection. The couple's first dance, the father/daughter dance, mother/son dance went off without a hitch and then the party started and boy did it start. From the first song until the last song our dance floor was filled and people were cutting it up. There was never one song where the dance floor wasn't full and people weren't having a great time. All good things have to end I suppose, but even the ending and the last song was done so professionally that when our guests went out to send the couple off they were raving about this being the best wedding they had ever been to, and it was so elegant and fun at the same time. Dwayne and his team know how to create a party for sure and I would highly recommend them for any event that needs amazing entertainment

The music at/during my ceremony was exactly how I wanted it to be. During the reception he played just the right music to keep the guest entertained and needless to say, nobody left the dance floor! Amazing to work with. Excellent customer service. We had a ended up having an uninvited guest to our wedding named Tropical Storm Nestor. This team made sure the storm didn’t mess up our evening. VIP Entertainment was super easy to work with and actually listened to what we wanted for music. There wasn't one song that was played that no one was dancing to. They kept our entire wedding party and guests on the dance floor all night. I can't express how good of a job they did! The DJ really makes the reception

I had a june wedding outside! It was a morning brunch wedding but it was a little hot! Despite the heat these guys did an AMAZING job! With it being a brunch wedding and only having mimosas we were a little worried that people would not get up and dance but at one point EVERY SINGLE PERSON was on the dance floor! They did an amazing job! I am also a wedding planner and recommend them to my clients all the time!

I am so ecstatic that we went with the VIP DJ Entertainment for my daughter’s and her husband’s wedding. Dewayne was incredible. Everyone commented about what a fantastic DJ he was. From the Ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and throughout the reception dinner, the music was perfect. And then of course, once dancing started, it was just dynamic. What’s so great about Dwayne is that you select your music in advance, and he plays it throughout the night. He kept the party going. I highly recommend also having him do the wedding ceremony music. The officiant was provided with mic and everyone could hear her. I can’t say enough about how professional and wonderful Dwayne was to work with throughout this process. It made it so easy. I highly recommend him.

Dewayne is an absolute blast to work with! VIP makes dealing with a DJ so extremely easy and affordable. They had some of the best prices for services around, and after reading reviews on here we chose them. GREAT choice! Payments can be made online or through the mail. There is a huge song database, and you can access it and add it to playlists or your ceremony timeline through a super easy online system. It saves your desires so you can log back in and change them when you need. He also took our requests to find some stranger or not really wedding related songs and made it all perfect. He communicated so quickly and rolled with all the changes I made throughout the process. VIP also provided our lighting and projected monogram, which were so perfect for our venue. The night went off without a flaw, and the dance floor stayed packed.

Seriously so amazing, the nicest guys ever and they really know how to get the party started! They even helped suggest vendors for us since we’re no longer in the Savannah area. Amazing guys!

We were just married over Thanksgiving weekend in Savannah and hired VIP Entertainment. And am I so happy I did. the music was perfect for both the ceremony and reception. I don't think the dance floor was empty at all. It was some great personal touches (acknowleging my now husband was an Eagles fan and playing the fight song).
