Perhaps the highest compliment you can ever offer a professional is that they execute their service so well and with a spirit so uplifting that they actually inspire your own reflection of career and life.
We got engaged at the start of the ho...liday season and immediately reached out to several travel agents. While other agencies were understandably slow to respond, it was a quick, courteous response from VIP Owner, Jennifer Doncsecz, that immediately sparked our enthusiasm. She had a patient, consultative nature and was proactive in offering alternative wedding dates when our target dates were not available at our initially preferred resort.
Communication was a forte at VIP as Jennifer and her impressive staff helped navigate our entire destination wedding process especially mediating conversation with the eventual resort wedding coordinators.
Emma Brumbaugh was our main point of contact and was effectively the clincher for our ultimately choosing El Dorado Royale for our destination wedding. She was graciously available to talk on the phone (most agencies are predominately email-centric) and helped us evaluate a variety of resorts based on qualities most important to us such as FOOD, the type of wedding we desired, the pulse of our wedding guests, and costs. She never tried to steer us to a certain resort but sincerely sought to understand what we truly desired for our special day.
Ryan Doncsecz was exceptionally kind in communicating with our family and friends. He would send out reminders directly to guests to coordinate payments, confirm flight information, explore room options, and generally put our group at ease. The feedback we received from our guests about him specifically warmed our hearts as it further reaffirmed our belief in VIP.
Bryan Croot, the Operations Manager, was also particularly kind and understanding. Even in the face of an embarrassingly difficult situation with one of our “guests,” he maintained a refreshing air of professionalism and grace.
As we finalized décor options for our wedding and reception, Emily Bertsch, another remarkable VIP team member, generously reached out to offer guidance as she had previously gotten married at the same resort. She gave candid feedback on lighting, seating, table dressing, photography, and other décor ideas that were worthwhile and those that were unnecessary. She also connected with the resort wedding coordinators to lockdown our requests with certainty. Her counseling was an absolute gift.
Overall, VIP genuinely had our best interests at heart. They were comforting, reassuring and supportive throughout a notoriously stressful occasion. Even from a distance, VIP was still by our side putting our hearts and minds at ease.
The extraordinary VIP spirit transcends customer service and has an uncanny ability to brighten your day beyond travel and wedding planning. Their essence inspires you to live those same virtues wherever you are; in whatever you do. Simply put, VIP is a team full of outstanding, beautiful people. We are grateful.
