Led by exceptional musician Megumi Terry, this gifted ensemble has garnered a superlative reputation for their elegant playing style and entertaining performances. All that's required of you is to pick your favorite songs from their extensive repertoire and they will play them in their own distinctive way.
Virago Ensemble happily plays at weddings across North Florida and South Georgia. Each member of the group boasts a great deal of professional and academic success. They were all trained at the Florida State University College of Music, a prestigious institution where they developed and perfected their string skills.
From classical standards to modern pop hits, Virago Ensemble can play tunes from a wide range of popular genres. You are more than welcome to ask for a special song that isn't on their standard setlist. They can also adapt their line-up to suit your preferences, with possible configurations including duets, trios, and quartets.

Meg and the Virago ensemble were such a joy to work with leading up to our wedding day! Meg was very responsive and accommodating when it came to special requests for songs! The group was very professional and gave our wedding the beautiful sound that I had dreamed of! Multiple guests have commented on the quality of the music and how much fun the group was during the reception as they took special requests! Would highly recommend and definitely would use again for a future event!
We had a trio for our outdoor wedding, and they were incredible!! I cannot recommend them enough. All of my guests raved about them and said they were phenomenal for the ceremony. If you’re on the fence about an ensemble, do it!!
The quartet was absolutely phenomenal! Taylor, was so helpful with picking song choices and when we wanted like 15 new songs they didn’t have, they were excited at the chance to increase their repertoire. The songs we chose were a mix of r&b and soul and all songs that were significant to our relationship. It really helped personalize the ceremony and when they played the song my fiancé proposed to as I walked down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. It was so beautiful! 10/10 recommend!
Absolutely wonderful working with them! They were happy to work with us on songs to play during the wedding, and the performance was divine!
We had the BEST violin duo for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were prompt, professional and very talented. The sound was full and a duo can be a great option if you're working with a tighter budget. They made or found arrangements for all of my requests and our guests raved about them! Their music made our outdoor farm wedding feel elegant and romantic. If you're looking for that extra something to elevate your wedding, choose the Virago Ensemble!
Meg and her pianist were so accommodating and incredibly talented! Not only did they play the songs we requested, but we relied on their musical repertoire to perform several more songs in the same spirit. We were not disappointed! Their music added an authentically-classy ambiance at our open-air summer evening wedding dinner. In fact, their involvement was so memorable that we dedicated a full page in our wedding album to them!
These musicians were outstanding! They listened to my intent for the ceremony and music, played my selections and adapted to changes at the event. Easy to work with and extremely professional. Such a classic and memorable addition to the ceremony !
Meg was the violinist for my wedding in September of 2019 and made our ceremony feel so special, elegant, and personal!! She was open to play any songs requested, and also provided direction and suggestions for the times we didn't have specific songs in mind. In preparation for our wedding, working with Meg was fun and easy! I would recommend Meg with Virago Ensemble to anyone looking for a true talent with a wide range of possibilities and songs, met with genuine kindness!
