Shawn was a professional from beginning to end. He made everything about our wedding planning from across the country as easy as could be. If you need a DJ vendor (who also has the most insane Photo Booth) look no further. Shawn does it all, exceeds every request and makes the day perfect. So lucky to have found Shawn in the process and would ask him to work with us on EVERYTHING if we lived close.

Incredible experience working with Shawn! From the beginning he put us at ease with his flexibility and openness to our ideas and did an incredible and seamless job of integrating them into the wedding. A total professional in every aspect of the process, his knowledge and thoroughness of what it takes to pull of a great musical experience at a wedding was a breath of fresh air. In addition to DJ services, he provided uplighting and generators which were both a huge plus since it was that much less we had to worry about. Seriously can't say enough good things about Shawn! Highly recommend!

We recently had our wedding with Shawn Santanello of Viren entertainment and I cannot express what a positive experience this was. Shawn had the flexibility to meet with us virtually for the booking appointment to review our options. I was surprised by how many services and packages there were. A few weeks before the wedding we met with Shawn at his office and went over every detail. So many things we had not thought of ourselves. Shawn made sure everything was on point. I had decided to walk down the aisle to a random instrumental I had found on YouTube which was no problem for him. We also don't crave a ton of attention and he was able to shorten our first dance song. Amazing. He even gave a perfect dinner recommendation as we are not familiar with the area. We are lower key and probably older than the average couple getting married. Shawn had us submit a playlist and from that picked up the vibe we were going for PERFECTLY. I genuinely loved every song he played the entire night. The songs he picked for the dance portion were perfect and there were so many people dancing. I had been nervous everyone would just be sitting at their tables. He also played at a volume where people who weren't dancing could still have a conversation. We had a few non traditional elements to our reception that he was completely enthusiastic about. We got married at the Ranch in Southwick and because Shawn has such a great personality he is friendly with their wedding coordinator and also our photographer which really added to the easy party atmosphere. I cannot recommend this DJ enough.

We can’t say enough about Shawn. Our wedding was back on 6/9/23 and we have been basking in the glory ever since. “it was really the most customized wedding reception I’ve ever experienced, like it was so cool babe” my wife just said to me right now as I was writing this. Prior to our big day, Shawn met with us twice to make sure everything went perfectly. We knew we were giving him a big task - my wife and I are heavily into EDM music and wanted to incorporate this into our dance floor hours. Shawn hinted that he wasn’t too familiar with this type of music but assured us he could pull it off, and boy did he! He was able to mix Montell Jordan into Michael Jackson into Brittany Spears into heavy dubstep and had the whole wedding party going nuts! (the 60 plus crowd didn’t understand). Prior to the reception Shawn was able to fully customize my vibe for the pre-precession, precession and cocktail hour. During our meetings it took only 2 minutes of me describing what I wanted to hear, he knew what I was going for and delivered big time. We frequently reminisce about how great the music was and truly wish we could relive the day. Our guests have also expressed how perfect the music was. I would highly recommend Shawn for any of your events, he will for sure bring the best vibes! From day one Shawn was welcoming and super easy to talk to. It honestly felt like we were talking to someone we had known for years. Again, I can’t say enough about Shawn. It’s been almost 3 months since the wedding and I honestly miss him the most

Shawn is awesome! I can't tell you how many of my guests told me after how wonderful the music was! He really read the room and knew exactly what to play. I highly recommend Shawn for your event. We used him for our wedding at Quonquont Farm and it was wonderful since he was familiar with the venue! He also has 3 options for photo booth and uplighting. We hired him for the photobooth, DJ and I believe some uplighting.

Shawn was an incredible find for our wedding at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, MA. Highly recommended by our coordinator, he meticulously planned every detail and effortlessly accommodated our requests. His guitar and singing skills during the cocktail hour created a magical ambiance that our guests loved. As a DJ, he knew exactly how to read the crowd and had everyone dancing all night. Shawn Santanello/Viren Entertainment were easily the right choice for our wedding. Shawn's enthusiasm for his work and weddings shone through in every interaction we had with him. When it came time to plan the actual music for our big day, Shawn was extremely attentive to our preferences and ensured we all had a clear understanding of what style of music he'd be playing for us, along with timing relative to the ceremony, meals, etc. On the day of the wedding, it became totally clear that he understood exactly what we were after. Every song choice was spot on and fit into the motif we wanted to establish for each phase of the day e.g. ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc. Moreover, Shawn actually created a customized "mash-up" for our first dance because we couldn't quite reach an agreement on what song to use (the songs my wife and I chose were quite similar rhythmically/melodically and so lent themselves to a mash-up). Additionally, Shawn was particularly sensitive to a few different moments involving family that couldn't attend our wedding. He also ensured we had an excellent setup for our outdoor ceremony so that all guests could hear our vows, officiants, readers, etc. On top of all that, both Shawn and his assistant were just cool guys that we enjoyed speaking/working with and that instilled confidence in us when it counted. If we ever hold another event requiring a DJ in this area, we'll just hope Shawn is free on that day.

Shawn was so great to work with and made our wedding day a blast. He played the perfect mix of songs to keep people dancing all night long and was really helpful with giving us recommendations and tips on our song choices for various parts of the day. We added uplighting to the venue too and it really complemented our decor and the setting of the reception.

Shawn Santanello was the DJ and MC for our wedding and made the night amazing. He handled all of our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music, and performed live acoustic during our cocktail. The guests loved him! He was so helpful throughout the planning process and took the time to get to know us and our style. I will be recommending Shawn to everyone we know. He kept the party going and we never left the dance floor!

Shawn did such an amazing job at our wedding! He was super receptive to our ideas and really listened to what we did and didn't want. He also sang and played a beautiful version of our bridal processional song that had everyone tearing up. And our guests really loved the combo of live cocktail music and DJing. The whole night was exactly what we'd hoped it would be after so much planning. We can't recommend him enough!

We had a blast working with Shawn for our wedding at the Montague Retreat Center! He gives off such a fun vibe, but is also clearly an experienced professional. Shawn did a great job working with our coordinators and together they made sure the whole day flowed flawlessly. It really stuck out to us that he took the time to make sure he knew how to pronounce everybody's names. He also did a great job getting people of ALL ages up dancing- our grandparents were on the floor for hours! Could not recommend him more!

Shawn is amazing and he helped make our day was absolutely incredible! We’ve been reminiscing about many special moments especially our first dance. Once Shawn opened up the dance floor, it was full all night long. It was an absolute blast! So many family and friends shared how they had an amazing time dancing and how incredible the music was. A friend, who’s getting married this weekend, asked for our “playlist” and I had to tell her we didn’t have one! It was all Shawn with some direction from us. Even weeks after the wedding, we’re still getting texts from our loved ones talking about how much fun they had dancing. Thank you Shawn!

Hire this man! My husband and I are so glad that we hired Shawn for our October 2021 wedding at Quonquont Farm. From the jump, Shawn was a breeze to work with - So laid back and pleasant, and an expert at this craft! Shawn provided the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, then performed an acoustic set during dinner (dreamy!), and then had our guests groovin' on the dance floor all night - Something that was so important to this bride! Shawn helped us put together a playlist that was fun and classic, and would motivate guests from all generations to put on their boogie shoes - It totally worked! After meeting with Shawn for the first time we knew immediately that we wanted to hire him for our wedding! His passion and deep knowledge of music and is contagious and for good reason- he is phenomenally talented! Working with Shawn was our easiest decision in the wedding planning process. My husband and I hired Shawn to provide entertainment for our wedding in September, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Every part of the process - from our first intro chat on video to the actual day of the wedding - was truly amazing and we had so much fun working with him. After every conversation and planning meeting we felt so relaxed and reassured because we trusted him to pull off an amazing event... and he did! We used Viren Entertainment for DJ and uplighting services for our wedding. Picking the right DJ to work with was a priority because good music is a must to ensure an epic dance party. Working with Shawn was easily one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. From the start, we knew that Shawn was going to be great to work with and we instantly clicked. Not only was he very responsive, professional and flexible, Shawn was really fun and went out of his way to make sure that everything was to our liking. He provided great recommendations ceremony music and catered to our untraditional requests for cocktail and dinner music. The uplighting was also a nice touch which set the mood and environment that we were looking for. Our guests had an incredible time dancing the night away and also complimented us on how great the DJ/the music was (many even said it was the most fun wedding they have been to because the music was so good). Once the dancing started, we did not stop for the rest of the evening. I can’t recommend Shawn enough for any entertainment needs. He truly is a pleasure to work with and provided excellent services. If you are looking for an amazing DJ look no further. The second I spoke with Shawn on the phone when planning our wedding it was evident that he was professional, fun, dedicated, and experienced. We struggled with picking music for our wedding but Shawn made it so easy and so much less stressful. He also played acoustic for us at the cocktail hour which was a blast! Shawn was great- he easily accomodate our change in wedding date to this year and our meeting with him was great. He made the whole process so much easier then I thought it would be. He did a great job choosing music for the reception and we really enjoyed the photo booth! Looking through all the pictures our guests took was so much fun.

We count ourselves so lucky to have found Shawn. We used Shawn both as a vocalist and as a DJ (and for sound during our ceremony). He played beautiful acoustic guitar music for our ceremony which was exactly the atmosphere we wanted and we were so impressed he was able to learn all the music we requested. He was also able to accompany my sister while she sang during our ceremony which was such a special and moving moment. He also played and sang for our first dance which was perfect since there wasn't a recorded version of what we wanted. As a DJ he kept the dance floor busy all night long by reading the crowd and had a wonderful flow to the transitions. He was a pleasure to work with and helped us a lot in figuring out what type of music we wanted to play for the different parts of the evening. We are in awe of how talented Shawn is and how smoothly he moved through his roles during the wedding.

We knew immediately after meeting Shawn that we wanted to hire him for our wedding, and he did not disappoint! Shawn was extremely flexible and understanding when we had to postpone due to Covid. Throughout all of our communications over a year and a half, and during the wedding itself, Shawn was consistently responsive, helpful, professional, and fun to work with. He provided live music for our ceremony (acoustic guitar and vocals), and he even took the time to learn special arrangements for our processional and recessional music. His performance was exactly what we wanted and it helped to make our ceremony really special. Shawn also managed the mics and sound system for the ceremony and speeches during the reception, and everything was flawless. Then as the DJ for the cocktail hour and reception, Shawn was wonderful again. We'd given him a short list of requested songs, and he used that to create the perfect playlist for the entire evening. Everyone danced and had an amazing time, and we couldn’t have done it without Shawn.

We had an amazing time working with Shawn and Viren Entertainment! Shawn is amazing at his job and made us feel so at ease throughout the whole process. We first met Shawn in late 2019 while planning a June 2020 wedding, but due to Covid we ended up delaying our wedding and got married in June 2021. Shawn was so accommodating, supportive, and empathetic through the entire ordeal. He was committed to working with us through all the reschedules (and there were many!) and really worked to ensure that our day was exactly what we envisioned. We really felt that Shawn got to know us throughout our conversations, which made the day even more special. Besides being great to work with, Shawn is also an amazing entertainer. He played live music (guitar and vocals) during dinner, and it was absolutely beautiful (and all of our guests raved about him!) He also kept the dance floor going all night, which he knew was important to us. He has such a deep knowledge of music and was so great at picking music that captured our musical interests and that our guests enjoyed. We highly recommend Shawn and hope we can work with him again someday!

Shawn was our wedding dj at Quonquont Farm and we could not be more thrilled with him and the amazing job he did. Shawn was incredibly supportive and helpful and detail oriented leading up to the big day. He's also just so kind and fun! And on the actual day, he was perfect. Shawn did an amazing job for our wedding! He was extremely personable and very easy to work with! One of the biggest reasons we loved Shawn was the variety of packages he has to offer. We had him do live music during the cocktail hour and DJ during reception. He also offers things like lighting and a photo booth but we opted out of those! He kept my guests on the dance floor the entire night and was a blast during the wedding! He helped us pick songs for parts of the wedding you don’t even realize you need to choose the music for! Shawn was such a pleasure to work with. He offers many different packages that you can customize very easily. He DJ'd for us, as well as sang live music for our cocktail hour, as well as our first dance song. We also hired him for lighting, which looked spectacular in our venue. Shawn does a lot to make sure that everything is how you want it to be on your wedding day. He meets with you about a month before the wedding to iron out all the little details-- this meeting made us feel so much better about everything and more prepared for the big day! Shawn is an awesome DJ and played great songs to keep the party going, but where he really shines is his live music. We chose 'Thank You' by Led Zeppelin for our first dance song, and he did an absolutely fantastic job. It was such a memorable experience for us and luckily we have video to relive it whenever we want! I would highly recommend Shawn for any of your DJ needs!!

Shawn was amazing to work with for our Wedding. Not only is he a great DJ/MC, but he is also an excellent performer! We had him play live music for our cocktail hour and it was perfect, it really set the tone for the rest of the night. We also used his mirror photobooth, which was so much fun and our guests loved it! Shawn was wonderful to work with. He met with my husband and I twice: once to get to know each other and see if we would be a good fit and second to review our details for the big day. He arrived early to our venue with his assistant to make sure everything was set up properly and made our day seamless. He made it clear that if we wanted him to stay longer, that also wouldn't be an issue and we could even ask him the night of which I thought was extremely flexible of him. He took detailed notes on our must plays and when it came time to start dancing, he hit a lot of them. When he went off course, he was fully accepting of my request to stick to our requested era/genre of music and got right back on track :) He also played guitar during our cocktail hour and killed it! He performed at my brother's wedding too, and never disappoints. Great job, Shawn! Hope to work with you again in the future!

Shawn was simply amazing to deal with as well as the pandemic changing most of the music end of things he made the evening still just as special and also if you get the chance to have him sing... do it!! Hes incredible!! He was a key piece in our night going so well!

Shawn was absolutely incredible!! We had him for our entertainment for our October 2019 wedding and I can’t thank him enough for how creative and fun he was! If there was ever a quick change we needed Shawn replied to our emails in a timely manner and was able to make those changes as well and gave advice along with it. When we had our meeting with him to discuss our event timeline he was very thorough and helped us along if we needed help finding specific songs for certain special moments. He also helped my husband put together a playlist for his mother/son dance. Our guests loved hearing him sing during the cocktail hour as well! Super down to earth and easy going. Shawn did our ceremony music and DJ'd our reception. He did an excellent job, listened to all of our input for music selection, and did a great job of filtering out the requests that we didn't want played at our wedding. I would absolutely recommend him. Very professional and just a good DJ.

Shawn was our entertainment at our April 2019 wedding. Shawn played acoustic guitar during our tasting dinner at the Blantyre in Lenox, MA and then DJ’d our reception. Shawn was a true professional. He played and sang through our 2.5 hour sit down dinner pretty much without a break. We and our guests loved every selection. And when it came time to dance he played a good mix to equally please a crowd of 4 generations. He was also highly responsive and just a really nice guy. If you are wondering if you should hire Shawn for your wedding or next event, the answer is yes.

It’s not your typical photo booth so it was fun to have something different! Without Shawn our wedding would not have been the same! Shawn is an absolutely phenomenal DJ and all-around person! We were lucky to see him DJ another wedding and knew we had to book him. He is very friendly and flexible. He met with us for a couple hours to get to know us and our music preferences and more info about the plan for the wedding day. He did a great job coordinating with the venue and other vendors. He played an acoustic cocktail hour and played our first dance. We also used the Magic Mirror photobooth provided through his company and it was a big hit! Shawn did a fantastic job at our wedding and truly couldn’t have been a better DJ! He was the DJ at my cousin’s wedding and we enjoyed the music there. We had a couple meetings beforehand to go over details. My father and I did the father-daughter dance as a traditional song transitioned to a choreographed dance routine - and Shawn totally helped with the music transition and made it so smooth that all the guests were in awe and loved it! He also helped get the guests on the dance floor and helped our very large wedding party (19 people) in order for the entrance to the reception. He has a great personality and is an expert in his field. We would highly recommend him for any weddings!

We hired Shawn to handle all the music for our wedding at Quonquont Farm and he did a fantastic job! For some reason, the DJ was the one part of our wedding that we were nervous about. It seemed like if the DJ didn't match our style or taste, then the whole night could be thrown off. Luckily, Shawn totally came through for us! Shawn handled the sound for our ceremony, including the music and making sure everyone could hear the officiant. He also played recorded music during cocktail hour, dinner, and through the end of the dance party. We requested a blend of music - old and new - to make sure all our guests would dance and have a good time. Shawn did an excellent job of pulling this off. We couldn't believe how quickly people took to the dance floor and stayed there all night! We didn't get the chance to meet him before the wedding since we live in California, but his communication was top notch and we never had to worry. In the end, we are so glad we hired Shawn and were so happy with how everything went on our big day!

Shawn is the best in the business, very professional but down to earth and fun! We met with Shawn twice before the wedding and both times it felt as though we were talking to a friend. Our last meeting before the wedding we spent most of the time laughing (which was what we needed a month before the big day). Shawn exceeded all of our expectations at the wedding, everyone was dancing all night long and begging him to stay and play just one last song. The dance floor was packed and he knew exactly what songs to play when to keep people dancing and having fun. I had a few do not play requests and even with guests asking to play those songs he politely told them they were off limits and kept the bride happy! I highly recommend Shawn to anyone looking for a DJ, he truly loves what he does and it shows. He is very responsive and answered all of our questions and even gave us some helpful tips. Shawn and Viren Entertainment DJ’d and played an acoustic set at our wedding at Quonquont Farm. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Shawn. In addition to providing the reception music Shawn also set up the processional/recessional songs as well as audio support for our outdoor ceremony. The acoustic set Shawn played during dinner was absolutely wonderful! He is extremely talented and really set the atmosphere for the night. As we were planning our wedding out of state, we were able to set up several times on the phone to discuss music preferences and the schedule for our wedding. He was professional and very organized, paying attention to small details that were of particular importance to us. When we booked Shawn we were aware of the decibel limit that Quonquont has and Shawn was able to work well within that limit, our guest spent dancing the night away! Also importantly for keeping our guests on the dance floor, Shawn was able to work with our eclectic music taste so everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. We also had the mirror photo booth, which was a huge hit!! Our guest loved it and it was so much fun to go back and look at the all the pictures after the wedding. We highly recommend working with Shawn and Viren for your wedding or celebration!

My wife and I worked with Shawn for our wedding in July and had a great experience! Shawn is fun, professional, and extremely flexible. He worked with us to accommodate a less traditional procession down the aisle (two brides and mixed gender bridal parties) and also helped facilitate our guests participation in the horah to start the reception. He was timely and professional in helping us create our event timeline and was able to both provide opinions and experience while also listening to and creating our vision for the day. Shawn is a dear friend to my husband and I, so it was a very easy decision to incorporate his talent into our wedding day. Shawn is a very talented musician, so we asked him to play acoustically for our ceremony. My husband had particular song choices that he wanted, and Shawn’s response to any request was “I’ll learn it.” One of my favorite moments was waiting around the corner to walk down the aisle with my dad, and hearing Shawn signing. The highlight of the night? When Shawn joined the wedding band we hired (he was a guest too!) and sang our first dance song. So amazing, and so special. We found ourselves wanting to be focused on the first dance but couldn’t help wanting to stop and just listen. Shawn is genuine and easy to work with - he is the best!

Shawn was incredibly helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. From the beginning, he was honest, listened to our ideas, answered our questions, and offered tons of information. In the weeks before our big day, he met us after "normal" business hours to go over song choices and details. He also made expert recommendations about the day-of timeline. Our wedding music was a hit! Shawn played acoustic guitar for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and he DJ'd the reception. He is a talented musician and skilled entertainer- reading the crowd and playing music that had our guests dancing all night long. Shawn showed a personal interest in our wedding and happiness. Shawn was amazing to work with! He is a very talented musician, and knows how to keep people on the dance floor. We were able utilize Shawn for both his musician skills with an acoustic set during cocktail hour and dinner, as well as provide us with a very special moment where he sang our first dance. He killed it with the music DJ'ing, keeping everyone on their feet and having a good time. The dance floor was always packed and was accommodating to requests. In addition to the the music services provided, Shawn did a great job making sure the day went as planned. As our MC, he made sure we covered all the things needed and took the time to go over the day with us in advance to ensure we weren't missing anything. It was extremely helpful that he worked with all our other wonderful vendors, which solidified that we knew everything would turn out just perfect. So happy he was there to kick off our party and we received nothing but great compliments from our guests from his services. Highly Recommended!
