The aquarium was such a unique and beautiful venue for both the wedding ceremony and reception. Everyone was blown away by how professional the staff was.

The aquarium turned out to be a fantastic venue. They were responsive and helpful in getting us all the information we needed to plan the wedding. The recommended vendors list had very good suggestions. They require their catering service, but that turned out to work great as well. We opted not to hire a professional DJ, and the sound system they had (two speakers with a very basic equalizer) turned out to work great and had plenty of oomph to fill the room.

I absolutely loved our venue, the staff was so helpful and everything turned out beautifully! Our guests loved being able to tour the aquarium and it was perfect to keep them entertained during cocktail hour. This venue made our day extra special and memorable for everyone there!

The overall expierence was great. It was difficult getting ahold of my "planner" or person in charge at times and the set up wasn't exactly what we discussed but it was still amazing and a great expierence from what all our guests say as well!

While the venue was beautiful, we had nothing but problems when dealing with the aquarium. The two people in charge of our wedding did not confirm information with eachother and as a result, there were constant changes. Our rain room had to be changed last minute and we were told a week before our wedding that there were not enough time to do pictures after the wedding. In addition, we were told that we were "welcome to come back and take pictures another day." Who can recreate the memories of your wedding day?

Everyone loved having the aquarium to ourselves. Guests were free to roam all the exhibits which included petting stingrays to contemplating in front of the shark tank. The reception site felt markedly distinct from the ceremony site which was outdoors in front on the side of the Chesapeake bay.;Hire a good photographer. The lighting in the aquarium makes for a challenge but our photographer was up to it and it paid off!
