and decor they have on site (and they have a lot), but the storage room is so disorganized and messy I'd have to wish you the best of luck to find what you want to use. Also, I scheduled my bridal portraits here since I wanted them done at my wedding venue. I was told the barn would be open and we could use for photos. When my photographer and I arrived, it was locked and there was no one on site to unlock so we could utilize for photos (heartbroken), strike #1. Then, came rehearsal day. We arrived and the grounds looked terrible. The grass needed cutting, trees needed to be limbed, etc. My family and all of our groomsmen got there at 8am on my wedding day to maintain the grounds. Totally unacceptable, so strike #2. Lastly, I was notified FIVE WEEKS after my wedding that there were several broken chairs due to loose screws and metal parts. I hardly think that is the responsibility of my guests. Perhaps they should invest in better quality items. Why would anyone wait five weeks post-event to inform someone of damages, and secondly, there have been at least three weddings since mine. How am I to know this happened at my function? So there you go, strike #3. While at first, I loved this venue and still think it is beautiful, I would not recommend booking here. Save yourself the time and energy.

of photo ops. You can bring the true barn feel by opting to use their hay bales, flat bed trailer, and having the chickens roaming. Yet, you can also dress it up and make it classy. The location is very convenient, as it is just off of I-64, the Oilville exit in Goochland. Out of town guests can be accomodated on the premises in their cottages, or at a hotel 20 minutes up the road. There is plenty of local dining in the area. The facility is set up so that you can fully prepare on the premises. There is a kitchen for your caterer, enough buildings to separate the men from the ladies, and restrooms indoors. You have access to the premises from Friday through Sunday. My favorite part of the property is that the bride can watch the set-up unfold from her prep room. In addition to the gorgeous location, you know that your money is going to a good cause - to educate young children in the community. Stop by and visit the venue - I know you'll fall in love!! :)
