She also totally understood our vision and worked so hard to make it all a reality. The end result was absolutely perfect and went off without a hitch. She was also so much fun to work with! I had the Month-Of planning option and in that month Kellie was there for absolutely anything that I needed! ore we moved to Nashville. From the first day we talked to Alex on the phone, she has been amazing! We literally had to pick every single vendor we used strictly based on their online presence and Alex really helped us pick who to use by giving us budget recommendations and past experiences she had. On top of that, I was beyond pleased with every vendor we used based on her recommendations. Also, with us being out of state, it was very important for me to have a planner I could depend on and have open communication with. Alex was really on top of everything and responded to every question I had quicker than I ever expected. The 3 months before our wedding were the busiest for us because we were planning our move to TN, my husband was finishing Law School and studying for the bar exam, traveling for bach parties for ourselves and another wedding we were in, and once we moved, starting a new job. With so much chaos in our lives, Alex really helped us stay on track (and sane) with the wedding planning and I don't think words can describe how thankful we were for her during all of that. Everything I've said so far is just how much she helped us plan in the months leading up to the wedding. Wedding week approached and I never once worried if everything was done. She gave us constant updates on communication she had with vendors and any last minute details that needed to be updated. I never once worried if I was forgetting anything. The weekend of the wedding was also perfect. She had helped with the bridal brunch and rehearsal reservations and both went perfectly. The day of the wedding, our venue could have burnt down and she would have rebuilt it herself to avoid stressing us out! Haha! Alex and her team were all so nice and pleasant to be around as we got ready for the wedding to start. I honestly couldn't even tell you what all took place in the set up for the ceremony/reception because she really let me just enjoy the day and spend it with family and friends. They really took on any/all stress or obstacles so that my husband and I didn't have to. From the time the ceremony started until the send off, everything went perfectly. I have had so many compliments on the wedding and every time, I just tell people that my planner, Alex, is amazing and went above and beyond to make it a success. I want to go on and on about what all she has done to help us but I couldn't begin to list it all. I would pick Alex over and over again if I had to and I am recommending her to everyone! As sure as I am about the love I have for my husband, I am just as sure that Alex Bovee is the best wedding planner in Nashville!

our venue. SOOO WORTH IT. We picked the "Month Of" package and worked with Alex K. She was great. She met with us and walked through the itinerary about 3 weeks out and kept up with all of our vendors so all we had to do was show up. They literally set everything up, walked around with the itineraries and walkie-talkies like secret service members making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at any given time. It took sooooo much stress off. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!! Everyone raved about the wedding and how seamless the flow was, and how nicely everything flowed. USE THEM AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED

They looked great and they were able to work with our venue to make sure our center pieces were what we wanted and still within the venues regulations. I was nervous about the handoff 30-days out, but that turned out to not be an issue at all. Alex is wayyyy organized and totally has it. And you know that from the moment she takes over. She handled everything with grace and then some. I was getting really spacing towards the end of the planning (13+ month engagement and a full time job will do it to ya) and she was so kind and reminded me to give her things she needed to do her job in such a nice way. I was so impressed and relieved! She and her team swept in and got to work! Her communication was prompt from the very beginning as we were looking through websites and review of possible planners and continued in the same manner throughout the entire planning process and even following the wedding. Her knowledge and experience were obvious from the day we first met, nearly 1 year prior to the wedding. On the evening of the rehearsal, she really took charge and handled everything and everyone so well. She left us all at ease with knowing our positions and roles for the following day. On the wedding day, in 100 degree heat, Alex was there from early morning to nearly midnight doing what she loves; it is easy to see that she truly enjoys helping the bride and groom and their families realize their dream wedding. She gave me choices about vendors for the things that I wanted to choose (photographer, caterer, venue) and ensured that the vendors she chose for things like the DJ and linens were able to supply exactly what I wanted. She also, at my request, found a wonderful cellist for the ceremony. We had a semi-traditional/not completely standard wedding and she was able to go with the flow in making my DREAM wedding happen. Not only did she keep me sane when I was stressing about stupid details (we've all done it), but she kept everything running on track for the wedding itself. She answered every email and text and phone call we made so that we were never left wondering what was going on or what we needed to do next. All the logistics that had been planned for both the Ceremony and Cocktail Time pretty much went out the window! Prior to our wedding day Alex made sure to be in contact with us, the vendors, our tiny bridal party, DJ, the venue, etc. She took on a lot of work during the month-of and made us feel less pressure. Every meeting with her was lovely and I felt like we really connected. She really understood our vision and personalities, and it really translated on our big day. Alex and her team were A-MA-ZING. Something that should have probably stressed us out after all the planning really ended up being no big deal. Seeing her so relaxed and on top of things made us trust her to just rearrange everything as she saw fit, and she did an awesome job at it! The whole night went smoothly and all of our guests really loved our wedding. I think because we were all so relaxed with the weather, our guests really didn’t care either, and I think that all started with Alex. We are SO HAPPY we decided to hire Vision in White Events because we felt like we had nothing to worry about. The Mimi Version: I am an executive assistant by trade and my now husband is in corporate finance, so that translated into scheduling our wedding in a very short window after my Board meeting and before his company’s budget season kicked off. I knew if I was going to pull off our dream wedding in roughly 100 days to meet our deadlines, I was going to need professional help. While I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted, I lacked both the time to execute and the desire to deliberate on those matters for which I did not have strong preferences. It was also crucial to me that my friends and family not have to work on our wedding day – I just wanted us to enjoy the event. The last tricky part is my complicated family dynamic. I interviewed scores of wedding planners, and Alex Bovee at VIW was the unparalleled winner. I left our initial call feeling like VIW “got me” and what I wanted – and for a very fair price for the level of service!! Fun fact: I *technically* brought Alex and team on board before my guy officially proposed (okay, and all my other vendors too). This team is so professional that they didn’t bat an eye at being hired so “early” in the game. Since I already had a lot of the decisions made, we went with the Month-of Coordination package. VIW answered SO MANY QUESTIONS over text, emails and calls that month when a family emergency threw a major wrench in the plans. I felt completely supported and free to handle my family affairs, while VIW kept my wedding train on the tracks. They didn’t let a single detail slip by, creating/maintaining the master timelines, handling all my vendor and wedding party confirmations, reminding me of payments needed, upcoming deadlines, etc. On the day of, the VIW team orchestrated everything for our backyard wedding – my main goal of my friends and family not having to work was ABSOLUTELY MET. I stress this because that b-word Mother Nature threatened rain shortly before our ceremony, and the onsite VIW team actually moved all the dining tables and chairs from the backyard and set them up in the house - and no one was the wiser about the big change in plans. They kept all the stress off my husband and me, all while keeping us on our wedding timeline. Hiring Vision in White Events was the second best decision I’ve ever made in my life – second only to the decision to marry my fella (once he finally asked ;-) ). ight there. I was very impressed. Also I was one of the few that was given the task of loading gifts, decorations, pictures, etc into 3 different vehicles. After everyone had left except for myself and 2 bridesmaids that were loading cars one of the bridesmaids lost her keys and bag. Alex K helped for about an hour to search for bag. Alex K WOULD not leave until we had found the keys or came up with a solution. Once the location of the keys were found she still wanted to wait while we waited for the person to drive back to the venue with the keys. I insisted I would wait with the Bridesmaids and implored Alex to please go home. I was very impressed in her willingness to ensure our safety. And to try to resolve the situation. Was a very fun evening and the bridal couple couldn't have been happier.

She also provides you with an awesome timeline that helps put everything in order for your guests and you. I ran into a difficult situation with one of the vendors and was having trouble negotiating what I wanted. Alex was able to step in and handle a tricky situation like a pro. Everything was perfect on the wedding day - we had a bunch of decor items and details including guest transportation to and from the venue. Alex helped with setting up the decor (it looked exactly like I imagined - she really listens to what your vision is and can execute it perfectly) and planned the timing and flow of all the events. Everything went exactly perfect on our big day. I have many friends who tell stories of at least one huge mishap during their wedding day. We were lucky not to have a single thing go wrong on the wedding day, and Alex had a huge hand in this. She created schedules that were extremely helpful for the day of the wedding, the rehearsal day and helped coordinate and took care of venue teardown. Alex was there for everything and more! She had our linens delivered to her the day before our wedding to make sure all the ties we made for the napkins were placed on them just right, and even showed up to the hotel room with myself and the bridesmaids when we were getting ready to pick up any last items that hadn't made it to the venue. Alex was extremely flexible and open-minded. I had TONS of decor and I never heard the word "No" or thoughts that something wouldn't work. Rather she brought extra help with her to make sure all my requests were fulfilled. The day before the wedding I was freaking out about the minute by minute schedule because the dances were weighing down on me and we worked to make sure that the schedule was changed and I was confident with everything that was going to happen. I went from not wanting a wedding planner to truly believing that there is no possible way our wedding would have been half as amazing if Alex wasn't there. She made our day possible. The next thirty days seemed like a breeze compared to what I would have had to deal with on my own. My family, fiancé, and bridesmaids were all out of town and Alex was someone I could count on to talk details and really make things happen. Vision in White was without a doubt the best investment I could have made for our wedding day. Alex took control and initiative when I needed her to, but also listened to me and gave me the freedom to help and feed my need for control. y direction, and reception set up. Alex was unavailable to coordinate our wedding, but offered to send an associate planner instead- Amber, who had plenty of experience to coordinate the wedding. However, about 3 days before the wedding, Alex emailed me Amber had to go out of town for a family emergency, but she was going to send two assistant planners to coordinate the wedding in Amber's place. Kaydee was the main coordinator for my wedding. Alex failed to tell me that my wedding would be Kaydee's first- if I had known this before the wedding I wouldn't have agreed to hire Vision in White. On the day of the rehearsal, Kaydee seemed very quiet and uncomfortable. She never introduced herself to my family or the wedding party, and she never took charge of the rehearsal. Thankfully, my maid of honor stepped up to the plate and took control of the rehearsal. I texted Alex that night that I was uncomfortable with Kaydee's skills, but Alex assured me that rehearsals are always crazy, and the next day would be perfect. On the day of the wedding, there was absolutely no contact made with Kaydee until about 15 minutes before the ceremony, so I assumed that the site was set up and everything was ready to go. Unfortunately, decorations were not set up properly, and the guests were wandering everywhere with no direction. One of the most important things to me was my timing down the aisle to my song, and Kaydee never cued me- so the quartet had to play the processional song twice. Sadly, I will never get that moment back. Our reception was a cocktail hour and dinner at the Watermark restaurant, so most of the set-up was done by the restaurant staff. However, I had place cards made by our calligrapher with all the guests names for their place settings at the reception. I'm not sure if Kaydee couldn't read the calligraphy, but she took about half the place cards and wrote the names she thought she was missing on the back of the cards- so half the place cards were in beautiful calligraphy and half the place cards were in marker that looked like a 5 year old wrote it. I can only imagine how offended the guests were that saw their names written in marker, not to mention the money wasted on the cards and calligraphy. I'm sure every coordinator knows that the most important thing about a wedding is keeping a solid timeline. While Kaydee was panicking and making place cards with markers- the cocktail hour was running over by 75 minutes- meaning that the final bill was over TWICE what we were expecting. Not only was Kaydee unprepared, disorganized and frazzled, Kaydee ended up making several EXTREMELY expensive mistakes, and I lost moments at my wedding that I will never be able to get back. Alex did give me a full refund for the cost of the coordination, but in my opinion we should have been compensated for more of our losses due to Kaydees incompetence. Hopefully they will learn from Kaydees mistakes and other brides don't lose moments and money like I did. I wanted to share my honest experience, and unfortunately, because of all this I cannot recommend Vision in White. I also ultimately decided I could not, in good conscience, give a good review.

She has an energy and skill that is calming and relieving because you know you can trust her and that she's going to do a good job. Even in a sticky situation where the transportation service forgot to come back to the church to pick up the bride, groom and entire wedding party for the reception, she quickly did everything she could, well above and beyond my expectations, to help solve the issue and call us a backup transportation service. She saved the day! Then during the reception, things just flowed smoothly and I didn't have to lift a pinky. I know there are probably many things she did behind the scenes that I don't even know about, that made the whole evening flow and made it the most fun night of our lives. My husband and I are extremely grateful and would recommend Vision in White Events to anyone and everyone.
