Vision Weddings

gs" in May of 2019. I am less than three months away from my wedding and I just learned today that I no longer have this vendor, in fact, I NEVER really did! When I hired Christina, she seemed totally legit, we had a great phone call consultation where she was extremely friendly, and she later sent me a contract that we both signed, and along with that I sent her my deposit. As everyone else's story goes... after I sent her money, her responses were few and far between. Occasionally she would reach out to me and offer me a "discount" if I paid in full. When I declined to do so, I pretty much never heard from her again. Fast forward to March 13th 2020. I hired this chick to be a 3-month planner. I reached out asking when we could touch base, no answer; actually, no delivery of the text. I immediately had a hunch, but gave her the benefit of the doubt that it is a busy time. Texted again a couple days later, no delivery. Called the number, and of course, couldn't be reached as dialed. Emailed her, of course, no response. After diligent internet investigating, I found a girl who helped her with other weddings and she provided me Christina's "new number". To spare the details, my first text said "you know exactly why I'm contacting you" (AKA...give me my money back) and without even TRYING to give me a response, she started entertaining the idea of returning my money. She even tried to tell me her new venmo name is Amber Dawn. I literally said who the hell is Amber Dawn?!! Anyways, it seemed like she kept almost trying to buy herself time to maybe block me again or something. As soon as I threatened to call the magistrate, I received a refund via PayPal. Not gonna lie here folks, I went as far as messaging her husband on facebook (creepy that I found him I know) to try and get my money back. A friend of mine even reached out to him as well. Hours after I was refunded, we received a facebook message from a "Tommi Amos" (I believe her mom's name) however the profile had no posts, no pictures, no friends. Seemed like she made it right then and there to message my friend back, and still gave us the same BS story about her icloud/google account issues. I'm pretty sure she didn't connect the dots between my friend and I and was just so used to having to "refund" any bride at this point. I have no idea what is wrong with this woman, maybe she bit off more than she can chew, or maybe shes just a straight up con artist--but the truth is she is terrible at it and with everyone coming forward, this circle of destruction she's created with so many couples is closing in on her. I'm thankful I got my money back, but now I'm weeks away from my wedding without a planner. Very disappointing. Christina Loker, Allie Mullins, Amber Dawn, whoever the hell you are today, you should be ashamed of yourself, and I know I will do all I can to make sure other people won't be affected by you as you inevitably face the consequences of your actions.

fiancé and myself. Needless to say the lunch never happened. We booked her in May 2019 for our August 2020 wedding and didn’t hear from her at all. I had reached out to her at the end of November 2019 and was informed her and some other girl would attend my wedding but the message was brief in regards to the long one I had sent her. However, 8 months before our wedding my fiancé and I decided to change plans to an outer banks destination wedding. We no longer needed a coordinator and reached out for our deposit back. The number we had was disconnected and Christina would not reply to emails. Just as soon as I was about to start getting angry about the situation I was informed by the mother of another groom that this woman had ripped off her son weeks before his wedding. She has also ripped off many other couples. Thankfully the mother of the other groom had managed to find her number and I was able to text her for my refund back of $400. 1. She never reached out to me stating she was changing her contact info. 2. She has changed her name to Allie Mullins. She is a local of the Harrisonburg area so I’m not quite sure how she expects to get away with screwing over brides. We have all banned together against you and hope legal charges are filed. I’m lucky we changed our wedding plans and never used her. Other brides and grooms have not been so lucky and have scrambled for someone else to come along and help coordinate their wedding day. She is a scam and no one should let her get away with this.

l wedding planning business, and I am reaching out to The Knot corporate about how they are giving a platform to a fradulent business. The positive reviews on this vendor profile do not reflect reality. While we were able to get our money back, we now need to scramble to find a new coordinator.
