We hired Courtney for day of coordination, and I would 10000%, without a doubt, recommend her!!! Saying that she was a life saver is a complete understatement. She went above and beyond and made me feel so stress free throughout the whole process. Friends and family of ours have even said how beautiful the venue was, how helpful and attentive the owners are, and of course how much fun they had! Having guests tell you that your wedding was the best/most fun wedding they have ever been to is the BEST compliment - and we truly owe it all to Courtney, Jason, and their gorgeous venue! I had so much trouble finding a venue there that I thought was worth the money and when I found Vista Creek, I knew I had to have my wedding in the Outer Banks. Something a lot of people don’t talk about is how important it is to not have to share the building and event space with anyone else on your wedding day. I’ve been to so many weddings in hotels where it seemed the hotel operations stayed exactly the same and hotel guests and staff did not care about the wedding happening that day. At Vista Creek, you don’t have to share your special day with anyone else which is huge and such a stress reliever. You can also bring your own alcohol???!! Life changing. We saved thousands of dollars doing this. I can’t recommend the venue enough and the owners are amazing and so organized and calm and collected the entire day. I find it so hard to go to others peoples weddings anymore because they feel so disorganized and like such a waste of money when they could’ve just booked Vista Creek, but maybe I am biased lol. Book them now!!

he venue is absolutely breathtaking, but the best part of it is Courtney & Jason, the couple that own the venue. Courtney was our wedding coordinator, and Jason was our DJ. Courtney made absolutely sure that everything went perfectly on our wedding day (and it did), and Jason brought the house down! We received endless compliments about how well put together everything was, how much fun the dance floor was, and how beautiful our venue was. It was the greatest day of our lives, and it wouldn't have been possible without Courtney and Jason!

Courtney was an organized queen and kept the planning process smooth and maintained flow of the ceremony and reception. She told us when and where to be, maintained contact with all other vendors throughout, and magically kept our drinks refilled all night. Truly can't imagine our day without her and Vista Creek!

Courtney is a professional at what she does and made sure everything went perfectly. Vista Creek is a BEAUTIFUL venue that had everything we were looking for! Our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner took place at Vista as well and it was wonderful. Our ceremony was outside and the view was breath taking. Our guests loved cocktail hour on the porch, and enjoyed dancing the night away on the big dance floor. Our wedding was the absolute best day of our lives, and we give so much credit to Courtney, Jason, and the rest of Vista’s staff for making our dreams a reality!

They also made sure we were taken care of at all times as the bride and groom to make sure everything went smooth. We were told by multiple people that this that the best wedding they have ever been to. Look no further if there is an open date to schedule your wedding here do not hesitate to book! We will always look back on this day at Vista Creek as the best day of our lives. Thank you again Courtney and Jason we appreciate everything!

truly listen to what I wanted. Fast forward through the entire year of planning, Courtney made sure everything went so perfectly from picking Caters to room layouts, honestly she made it easy. Wedding day rolls around and it was everything a girl dreams of and more. Everything was designed EXACTLY how I wanted. We booked Courtney’s husband as our DJ, trust me you won’t be disappointed with Jason! Our ceremony was outside and absolutely beautiful. We came in for dinner. Oh and best part, Courtney and my husband surprised me with Alpacas right before our ceremony lol. When I say they go above and beyond, I truly mean it! Thanks you Vista Creek for our dream wedding. We could not have done it without you!

dination! She is SO detail oriented and quite perfect at what she does! I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. She also contacts all of your other vendors throughout the wedding planning process. Before we met Courtney, my husband didn’t think a coordinator was necessary, but after we left our first meeting with her, he said “we NEED her!” Lol. It was worth every penny spent! We also booked her husband Jason as our DJ! He did a fantastic job and even has a website where you can add your own songs according to different parts of the evening (dinner/cocktail hour, first dance session, etc). Courtney and Jason are definitely a package deal and are amazing at what they do! We couldn’t have picked a better venue and people to work with!

hen COVID occurred and we decided to postpone our original wedding date, Courtney contacted each of our vendors and helped to coordinate a new date that worked for everyone. She took so much stress off us and kept us excited and positive. Not once did Courtney say "no" to an idea we had - she always did her best to try to find a way to make it work. On the day of our wedding, I cannot think of a single time I was stressed or worried about something, we knew Courtney had everything handled. After the wedding, numerous guests commented that our wedding had one of the most efficient and friendly teams, all thanks to Courtney and Jason. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us to make our day special. Aside from how amazing Courtney and Jason are as a team, the Vista Creek location is the perfect venue for a wedding. The views are great, the indoor/outdoor spaces provide lots of options, and the spacious ballroom works for just about every wedding size. Vista Creek is truly an amazing venue with an unbeatable team.

Through the months of uncertainty and ever-changing restrictions, Courtney remained consistent, responsive and optimistic during such a stressful time. We were fortunate enough to keep our wedding date and have no restrictions on our big day! Courtney’s hard work leading up to our big day made it that much more special! Jason did a great job coordinating all the music during the ceremony and reception. Our guests had such a fun time on the dance floor!!! We have had so many compliments from friends and family about the extraordinary staff, the good music, food, and gorgeous VIEW! She called all of our vendors for me and made sure they were still available so we could move the date too. This year was so hard and when the day finally came it could not have gone more perfect! 0 MPH winds. What was supposed to be an outside wedding turned indoors due to the weather. I cannot say enough about Courtney, she is Wonderful, she was a step ahead on everything and Jason was spot on with his DJ services. If you are planning an indoor wedding, spend the extra money and get the Pipe and Drape, she can do wonders with a room. Matt and Kaytlin had their magical wedding and all of our guests said it was beautiful. Thank you, Courtney and Jason, for the beautiful wedding and making wonderful memories for the newlyweds.

h anything we needed. Vista Creek is such a beautiful place and everyone that came couldn’t of agreed more. It’s so convenient to have everything at one place. We thought it was gonna be stressful with doing it out of town, but Courtney was there from start to finish to help make sure we had everything we needed to make it to our big day without any problems. Wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again or recommend them to anyone looking for that perfect place for any occasion.

Not only that, they let you bring in your own vendors free of charge. Not like a normal venue where you get charged for the spot plus $80 a plate using only their caterer and $10 a beer using only their bar services. We were allowed the flexibility and freedom to truly have the wedding WE wanted. 11/10 Recommend these perfect folks to help create your perfect day.

y and sometimes not even reply until I had sent multiple emails, not with Courtney and Jason though, they were prompt with responses and made sure everything was in order for our big day. I am very organized and I appreciated that Courtney was VERY organized as well. Not only that but my friends and family still talk about how breathtaking the venue is and just how wonderful everything came together. My husband and I paid for everything on our own and we really thought that Vista creek was a great value. You get the bartenders, the tables, the chairs for inside and a beautiful ceremony area with an arbor. Other places we had looked at didn't include any of those for the same price or more. Not only that but we ended up booking Jason with sound waves DJ who is Courtneys husband and they were the best team. Jason did all the sound equipment for the ceremony and then used a playlist with all of our favorite songs we got to pick. I could go on and on about how efficient and professional these two are. 10/10 would recommend.

n inside. The added bonus is Courtney! She is absolutely going to become your best friend. She knows all the local vendors and is well respected by them. We talked to a couple vendors that didn't know her yet but were itching to do weddings with her. Courtney walks you through everything and takes the worry/stress from the Bride. For us, and all our guests, this was a destination wedding - no one lived in the area. No worries though as Courtney gave us hotel information, restaurant information, and even checked around for the best gluten free cake bakeries. Courtney + Vista Creek = One Fabulous Wedding

breathtaking on its own that we didn't have to decorate much. My vision was elegant and romantic but also laid back and down to earth, and here was the perfect place to combine all of it. We have grown up on the Outer Banks, and Vista Creek made us feel like we were at home looking out over the sound at the marsh and the Manteo bridge. The outdoor ceremony overlooking the water was so beautiful, and the reception was everything I wanted it to be, with the sun setting outside and dinner in an romantic ballroom. I am so thankful for Courtney and Jason and all that they have done. You will not regret having your wedding here!

simple which allowed us to turn it into exactly what we wanted but also so beautiful without really needing to decorate. We loved the outdoor ceremony site but also we were stress free the day of the wedding knowing that there was a covered back porch where we could have the ceremony just in case it rained. Not only was the venue itself amazing, but Courtney and Jason were awesome to work with and we highly recommend choosing them as your DJ and day of coordinator as it made everything run so smoothly. All of our pictures turned out great as there was a pretty background no matter where we were at the venue. We had several guests comment on how much they loved the venue, and one guest even called a family member the next day to convince her to have her wedding here. We could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else besides Vista Creek!

e time, it was under renovation so there was simply a description but not pictures. My (now) husband and I decided to make a date out of it and drove down to OBX to check it out. As soon as I arrived and was greeted by Courtney, it just felt right. We could not pass up the stunning views, open and flexible ballroom space plus everything that is included. As I watched it progress into what it is today, I got more and more excited. Between Courtney's expert planning, Jason's knowledge of DJing and lighting & being surrounded by the Roanoke Sound - it was a fairytale day I wish I could live over and over again.

I hadn’t visited the venue prior to the big day and immediately Courtney was on top of communicating all the essential details. She had contingency plans ready for any foreseeable hiccup; including the tropical storm that came through the night before, but thankfully proved not to be an issue at all. In addition to the knowledge, support and sweet demeanor of Courtney, this site is SPECTACULAR! The views from their main ceremony site and back patio are serene no matter the time of day, but the sunset overlooking the Roanoke Sound and Nature Preserve provides for a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. Inside the venue is a fun, warm and welcoming atmosphere with lots of space and a layout that provides for easement. The bridal suite is spacious, cozy and nicely decorated; providing for space to prepare and elegant bridal preparation photos. Vista Creek offers many additional and affordable options which make planning (especially for out-of-towners) easier and stress-free; particularly bartender service and an AWESOME DJ! I absolutely loved Courtney and can’t thank her enough for all she did to make this day PERFECT for two of my favorite people.

When I reached out to Courtney she was willing to work with me in whichever way we could especially since we are so far away. Courtney and Jason put both my husband and I at ease and we actually didn't end up seeing the venue in person or meeting Jason and Courtney literally until the DAY OF the wedding. Everything went without a hitch. I cannot think of a single thing that went wrong on our wedding day and I will continue to recommend Vista Creek and Jason and Courtney to anyone who wants to wed in the area. My only critique would be that I wish there were MORE photos online to show how beautiful of a venue that Vista Creek is, and how beautiful the backdrop for the ceremony was. As a couple who lives in Nashville, TN my husband and I both recommend Courtney and Jason at Vista Creek for any couple, whether local or from far away.

The entire reception was gorgeous and my guests commented over and over again about how beautiful everything looked and how wonderfully choreographed the whole thing was. It was THE BEST DAY EVER and we couldn't have done it without Vista Creek, Cortney, and Jason. They truly bent over backwards the whole way through the wedding planning to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Not a single detail was overlooked, I had zero stress, and the day was perfect for us and for all 137 of our guests. Book this place for your event--you won't regret it!
