Debra is a wonderful person and such a professional officiant. During our ceremony planning meeting, she was kind, gracious, and made it a very memorable experience. She went over things with us that we hadn’t considered, which made us feel very confident about how smoothly our big day will go. She made us feel so important, and has been invaluable at guiding and caring for us throughout this whole process. I know that we’re in good hands with Debra and Vista Events!

Debra was an amazing minister who took the time to get to know me and my husband. She is so friendly she tries her best to make everything special and memorable for everyone! She was always available by phone, text, and email. She was amazing at helping us write our vows. My husband is not very good with words. She helped him say exactly what he was thinking and the vows absolutely made me cry. She made our day special and made our ceremony an amazing time where all of my photos are just me laughing so hard, crying, and being utterly in love with my husband as we were getting married.

She’s worked carefully and patiently with us ever since we first met her in December 2019, when we’d thought our wedding would take place April 4, 2020. When the pandemic became what it did, she offered to marry us privately and then return for an official ceremony. We ultimately postponed, but we appreciated the offer. She then waited patiently for us to call her to tell her we’d chosen a new date. When we told her we’d selected October 23, 2021, she was the first to celebrate with us! We picked up all our planning right where we’d left off. She actually made the effort to get to know us and in the end became our friend, not just our officiant. Our wedding was a beautiful affair in the end, largely because of Deborah Ann. Her love story for us was one of the most incredible things we’d ever heard. We met with our officiant Debra the other evening for the first time, and she has already SURPASSED our expectations, even from the first planning meeting!! We are not part of a church, and neither one of us wanted a religious ceremony. We wanted a ceremony focused on us and on our love for each other. This is hard to do when you don't have a pastor or friend who is ordained. Debra put in the work to get to know us via zoom! We talked, video conferenced, and corresponded via email throughout the entire wedding planning process. Debra asked us individual questions about ourselves, our families, our upbringings, our philosophies, and much more. She explored us both as people to get a good grasp on who she was going to be marrying. Debra had us complete assessments, and coaching to have us analyze the hard questions, and bring up scenarios we may not have considered prior to marrying. When I say she is thorough, I mean it. Debra started out a complete stranger to us both. On our wedding day the ceremony that Debra wrote, had family, friends, and friends of our families in tears. She not only got to know us, but through her words helped our family members who didn't know all of our story feel closer to us both. This is our one wedding, and she was a large part in it's perfection.

My now hubby and I wanted to have an intimate ceremony at home to get eloped. We found Minister Debra Ann and right from the get-go we realized that she would be the perfect person to marry us. She was easy to talk to and completely understood what we wanted. She brought up things I hadn't even thought of (like the cake!!!), and a bridal bouquet. We were in touch quite often until the day of. She came to our house with her husband (Mr. Vista), who so graciously took photos and videos of the entire ceremony. When they walked in, we were full of joy and happiness - they went full on with our St Patrick's Day theme and we loved it! They brought little decorations and surprises for us, we were so very grateful for everything. It did not feel like some random people coming in to marry us, they felt like family. As a fellow wedding vendor having had the pleasure to work alongside Minister Debra, I can say that she really enjoy what she does and she communicated well with all of the vendors and most importantly, did a wonderful job officiating the wedding we both worked. We were providing the video and live stream and even when we experienced a technical issue with the live stream she was able to adapt and overcome the small bump and the ceremony was perfect! Kudos to minister Debra, I highly recommend her.

Where to begin with Vista Events and Minister Debra Ann…we actually had an officiant already booked for our wedding and about 3 months before our wedding they moved out of state. We were in a panic if they were going to be able to fly back in to officiate or if we should just hire a new officiant. I came across Vista Events read some reviews and thought I need to meet this woman. I am so extremely happy I did! Minister Debra Ann as soon as we did our first zoom call my husband and I knew this woman was perfect for us and she would be marrying us. Minister Debra Ann has such a warm and loving way about her that she makes you feel that you have known her for years. She gave us the most beautiful and memorable ceremony. My father who has passed she had honored so beautifully with a memorial. We had a rose ceremony for our moms which meant so much to them and us. We did something unique and went with a smudging ceremony. Our family and friends really loved that touch and uniqueness to our wedding. During the ceremony my husband and I were both nervous and unsure what do to do next but Minister Debra Ann was on top of it and kept us so at ease. Can I also say that we are still waiting on our pictures from our photographer and we so blessed that after our wedding Mr. Vista had so many photos for us! They were such good photos too I used them for my thank you cards! I am extremely grateful for that as well just another little touch that goes above and beyond. I didn’t realize how much thought and planning went into the ceremony. Minister Debra Ann made it very fun and enjoyable. Mr. Vista and Minister Debra Ann opened there home to my husband and I for our ceremony planning meeting and since we were having a Halloween wedding, they had candy and treats all set up for us that was very on theme. The care and thought they put in for us didn’t go unnoticed. If I could give Deb 10 stars I would!!! My husband and I were beyond thrilled with how amazing our ceremony was. We booked with Deb in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and that was one of the first things we did. I talked to MANY people who told me how important it was to have an officiant that was not only experienced but one that you feel comfortable around. My husband could get along with anyone, but I am very shy and hesitant to open up to someone I don’t know. Due to this being during COVID times, we met Deb for the first time on a video chat. IMMEDIATELY I knew I wanted her to marry us! Deb made us both feel very comfortable and very excited for what was to come. Deb did a lot of work and asked a lot of questions to not only my husband and I, but people very close to us. When she wrote our love story you would think she knew us for many years- which I loved. My now husband and I first met with Minister Debra Ann back in March 2020 in anticipation of our June wedding. We ended up booking her the night we met with her and continued to get to know her throughout the first months of the pandemic with weekly couples coaching sessions. Not only did she officiate the wedding, she also helped calm my nerves just before the ceremony and she stood in as the ring bearer when we decided that just having the two of us at the altar was the safest and most “Covid-friendly” option. She customized our ceremony exactly how we wanted. One of my favorite touches was the personalized keepsake of our vows. She truly made our day so special. Minister Debra Ann officiated our wedding and in the lead up to it was extremely punctual and organized. We had several meetings via zoom and emailed back and forth as plans changed due to the pandemic. Minister Debra Ann is very friendly and sweet and will ask you to send in answers to questions about various things, such as how you met, why you are marrying one another etc. My recommendation is to be very specific with what you write and think about how you want it read to an audience since it will probably not be changed, as was our experience. Many of our guests found the ceremony to be very entertaining while others were certainly surprised at what was being said.

Where do I start!! To begin with, Debra is one of the most vibrant, sweet and thoughtful women I have ever met. Our first meeting was more than just a discussion about the wedding.
