Vista Events, LLC--Weddings by Minister Debra Ann

things with us that we hadn’t considered, which made us feel very confident about how smoothly our big day will go. She made us feel so important, and has been invaluable at guiding and caring for us throughout this whole process. I know that we’re in good hands with Debra and Vista Events!

as always available by phone, text, and email. She was amazing at helping us write our vows. My husband is not very good with words. She helped him say exactly what he was thinking and the vows absolutely made me cry. She made our day special and made our ceremony an amazing time where all of my photos are just me laughing so hard, crying, and being utterly in love with my husband as we were getting married.

find our official new date and was ready to pick up our planning where we had left off. We felt so much better going into the big day after our planning sessions and our rehearsal. The love story she wrote for us couldn’t have been more beautiful. She captured our love of movies, sports, and most of all, our love for each other. I will gladly recommend her to the next engaged couple I know!

edding would take place April 4, 2020. When the pandemic became what it did, she offered to marry us privately and then return for an official ceremony. We ultimately postponed, but we appreciated the offer. She then waited patiently for us to call her to tell her we’d chosen a new date. When we told her we’d selected October 23, 2021, she was the first to celebrate with us! We picked up all our planning right where we’d left off. She actually made the effort to get to know us and in the end became our friend, not just our officiant. Our wedding was a beautiful affair in the end, largely because of Deborah Ann. Her love story for us was one of the most incredible things we’d ever heard. She helped make that day all the more worth the wait. It was very much “us”, right down to our Oscar presentation to go with our movie theme! Her services truly were a gift for which we can never really say how grateful we are. She understood our needs and the way we wanted a ceremony with not much religious affair. Much love, Adam and my wife Kristen.

xceptional skills, professionalism, and the genuine warmth she brings to every ceremony. Debra possesses a rare talent for crafting and delivering personal and meaningful ceremonies. She takes the time to truly understand the unique qualities and values of the individuals involved, ensuring that each ceremony reflects their love story. Debra's ability to connect with people personally creates an atmosphere of warmth and sincerity that resonates with both the couple and their guests.

caring, energetic officiant I could have ever hoped for. We bonded instantly when we met and I’ll never forget her. For months my daughter was telling me about the couples preparation sessions she was experiencing with Deb and I was blown away. Was so thrilled to know that, in this day and age, their officiant was becoming so invested in them and their future together. I was elated when my daughter relayed to me the work they were putting in with Deb, and how valuable that was to them as a couple. At the rehearsal Deb handled a feisty crowd with a grace that brought calm and order quickly. That will always stay with me. Deb carried that same endearing demeanor right through the entire wedding day. I honestly felt as if a family member were officiating. The insights that she saw in my daughter and son-in-law were even eye-opening to me. Truly a rare characteristic. Deb was a valuable asset and helped us create a truly spectacular occasion. I can’t begin to thank her enough!

he wedding ceremony. Her presence, her demeanor and her ability to get to know the couple are impeccable. The service she provides is top notch making the wedding ceremony simply unforgettable.

go so smoothly and nerve free!

someone who fit us perfectly. She had such a warm and personal touch that made it very easy to talk with her and feel comfortable with her. She helped us get all our thoughts and ideas together just how we wanted, and she stayed in contact all the time in case we had any questions. She also had a meeting with us in person to get to know us better, and she made us feel quite comfortable like we were old friends just chatting and hanging out. We received compliments from our guests of how unique, beautiful, and personal our ceremony was, and most of them thought Debra was a family friend because of how well she knew us and guided us during the ceremony. She knew we weren’t ones for traditional ceremonies, and she really made the ceremony feel comfortable, light-hearted, humorous, and loving and really fit it to our personalities. Thank you so much to her (and Mr. Vista, haha) for making us feel right at home and in good hands. We appreciate you!

e did everything she could to make sure we had a wonderful day! Thanks!

y honor our love and the joining of our families! From our very first conversation, we truly felt the love from Debra Ann, and that only continued to grow in the months leading up to our wedding! We can say, wholeheartedly, that in the whirlwind madness of wedding planning (which was all well worth it, for the record), Minister Debra Ann, her excitement, enthusiasm for her craft, and support of us both as a couple and as individuals, truly drove our excitement for our big day. By the time our wedding day finally arrived, we were confident that our wedding ceremony would be our favorite part of the day! You can count on Minister Debra Ann (and Mr. Vista!) to be the biggest fan of your love story, and to help you celebrate all of the little things that make your story unique. If you’re looking for an officiant team who will feel more like family than like a wedding vendor, look no further than Minister Debra Ann and Mr. Vista!

coming as was her husband! You can really tell she loves what she does and excels at it! She puts so much love and effort into her work and into your ceremony to help make it so personal! We can’t wait to see the final results and excited to continue working with Vista Events! We know she will make our wedding day beyond special! Love, Katie and Gary!

t have a pastor or friend who is ordained. Debra put in the work to get to know us via zoom! We talked, video conferenced, and corresponded via email throughout the entire wedding planning process. Debra asked us individual questions about ourselves, our families, our upbringings, our philosophies, and much more. She explored us both as people to get a good grasp on who she was going to be marrying. Debra had us complete assessments, and coaching to have us analyze the hard questions, and bring up scenarios we may not have considered prior to marrying. When I say she is thorough, I mean it. Debra started out a complete stranger to us both. On our wedding day the ceremony that Debra wrote, had family, friends, and friends of our families in tears. She not only got to know us, but through her words helped our family members who didn't know all of our story feel closer to us both. This is our one wedding, and she was a large part in it's perfection.

ade writing our vows so easy and helped every step of the way!

to marry us. She was easy to talk to and completely understood what we wanted. She brought up things I hadn't even thought of (like the cake!!!), and a bridal bouquet. We were in touch quite often until the day of. She came to our house with her husband (Mr. Vista), who so graciously took photos and videos of the entire ceremony. When they walked in, we were full of joy and happiness - they went full on with our St Patrick's Day theme and we loved it! They brought little decorations and surprises for us, we were so very grateful for everything. It did not feel like some random people coming in to marry us, they felt like family. We are SO happy that we found them and could not give a higher recommendation. We might even ask them to come back every year to renew our vows ;) THANK YOU Minister Debra Ann and Mr. Vista for making the most important day of our lives absolutely perfect!!

ed brother and Debra made sure he was honored in such a heart warming way. We recommend her as she will make your day loving and fun! Thank you Debra for marrying us

and most importantly, did a wonderful job officiating the wedding we both worked. We were providing the video and live stream and even when we experienced a technical issue with the live stream she was able to adapt and overcome the small bump and the ceremony was perfect! Kudos to minister Debra, I highly recommend her.

e were in a panic if they were going to be able to fly back in to officiate or if we should just hire a new officiant. I came across Vista Events read some reviews and thought I need to meet this woman. I am so extremely happy I did! Minister Debra Ann as soon as we did our first zoom call my husband and I knew this woman was perfect for us and she would be marrying us. Minister Debra Ann has such a warm and loving way about her that she makes you feel that you have known her for years. She gave us the most beautiful and memorable ceremony. My father who has passed she had honored so beautifully with a memorial. We had a rose ceremony for our moms which meant so much to them and us. We did something unique and went with a smudging ceremony. Our family and friends really loved that touch and uniqueness to our wedding. During the ceremony my husband and I were both nervous and unsure what do to do next but Minister Debra Ann was on top of it and kept us so at ease. Can I also say that we are still waiting on our pictures from our photographer and we so blessed that after our wedding Mr. Vista had so many photos for us! They were such good photos too I used them for my thank you cards! I am extremely grateful for that as well just another little touch that goes above and beyond. I didn’t realize how much thought and planning went into the ceremony. Minister Debra Ann made it very fun and enjoyable. Mr. Vista and Minister Debra Ann opened there home to my husband and I for our ceremony planning meeting and since we were having a Halloween wedding, they had candy and treats all set up for us that was very on theme. The care and thought they put in for us didn’t go unnoticed. We are truly appreciative and blessed to be part of the Vista family now and we can’t wait to start our marriage classes next with Minister Debra Ann! If anyone is having doubts or uncertainty about hiring an officiant you can’t go wrong with Minster Debra Ann truly an amazing woman that will do anything for her couples! Love her!!

as one of the first things we did. I talked to MANY people who told me how important it was to have an officiant that was not only experienced but one that you feel comfortable around. My husband could get along with anyone, but I am very shy and hesitant to open up to someone I don’t know. Due to this being during COVID times, we met Deb for the first time on a video chat. IMMEDIATELY I knew I wanted her to marry us! Deb made us both feel very comfortable and very excited for what was to come. Deb did a lot of work and asked a lot of questions to not only my husband and I, but people very close to us. When she wrote our love story you would think she knew us for many years- which I loved. She shared some of the most exciting and happy parts of our lives. Knew how to make us all laugh and kept ALL of our guest intrigued. I had so many people tell me how beautifully written everything was. I LOVED that Mr Vista joined her for the ceremony because he was able to capture MANY amazing photos which we will cherish forever! My husband and I have enjoyed getting to know Deb and are so thankful we were lucky enough to be married by her ❤️

. My husband and I were extremely happy with choosing Minister Deb to be a part of our big day.

definitely be recommending her to future clients!!

ie kept us calm and organized. She truly cares about her couples and will put all of her heart and soul into creating a ceremony that truly feels like "you" as a couple. She is a beautiful writer and hearing our "love story" was such a treat. Thank you, Debbie!

now us She captured every detail of how we fell in love, everything that is special and important to us and unique bonds we have to our family. Our ceremony was amazing, with many special moments surprises and special things she worked in throughout. I’m not afraid to say that this groom was a complete waterworks as she told our Love Story. After the ceremony, mosts of our guests came up to us afterward and raved about the ceremony. All night long they were speaking of all that Debra did, and how beautiful and memorable the ceremony was. She went above and beyond - in the months upon to the event, the day one and for weeks afterward!

ing and accessible to us. She customized our ceremony to our liking. We requested a short and sweet ceremony and she delivered! Great communicator! We would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant!

bined with her thoughtfulness and consideration, make her an excellent choice for your wedding day. Two things that really set Debra Ann apart from other officiants are the level of care & effort she puts into her work, and how she treats you as friend (compared to just a client). There are many things that go into a wedding ceremony, as well as various aspects leading up to and after, which Debra is there to assist with at all stages. Her level of customization and personalization throughout the planning process is a unique bonus to her services. I would recommend Minster Debra Ann to anyone looking for a top of the line officiant.

t to know her throughout the first months of the pandemic with weekly couples coaching sessions. The sessions were very insightful and it gave us something to look forward to each week. Throughout everything, Debra was personable, understanding, and she took a true interest in all facets of our lives. We got to know her very well during this time and she remained flexible as our wedding plans went from plan B to plan C, and eventually landed on plan D which ended up being a very small, private ceremony. Not only did she officiate the wedding, she also helped calm my nerves just before the ceremony and she stood in as the ring bearer when we decided that just having the two of us at the altar was the safest and most “Covid-friendly” option. She customized our ceremony exactly how we wanted. One of my favorite touches was the personalized keepsake of our vows. She truly made our day so special. Minister Debra Ann makes a personal investment into the couples that she works with and we look forward to keeping in touch with her for the years to come!

ed due to the pandemic. Minister Debra Ann is very friendly and sweet and will ask you to send in answers to questions about various things, such as how you met, why you are marrying one another etc. My recommendation is to be very specific with what you write and think about how you want it read to an audience since it will probably not be changed, as was our experience. Many of our guests found the ceremony to be very entertaining while others were certainly surprised at what was being said.

edding! We would highly recommend her!

were pleasantly surprised by how organized and professional the ceremony was. She was calm and made me feel at ease. I will recommend her anybody looking for an officiant in the future. Thank you so much Debra!

exactly what we wanted. She is very personable and wants to get to know you and your SO, and she’ll even remember you after your wedding day! With Debra everything is personalized to the couple, and nothing is a one size fits all. Many guests at the wedding mentioned how much they enjoyed the ceremony. It was exciting and engaging. Some guests didn’t know how we met, and they enjoyed hearing our love story. Others has said it was very personalized and detailed. Even people that knew how we met said they learned something new. When people ask us how we met, we always say “we met at a bar.” However, when Debra shares our love story, you feel like you were sitting at the bar with us watching it all play out. Everyone could tell our officiant Debra Ann had put a lot of time and effort into writing the ceremony, and it’s was beautifully delivered. The ceremony was fantastic, and set the tone for the rest of the wedding. Thanks Debra!!

ersonable and detailed. She is very flexible what fitting your needs and beliefs into the ceremony and works tirelessly to make your ceremony perfect. Our guests raved about the flow of the ceremony and the details she provided to make it personable; like she’s a family friend. My wife and I recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant cause she’s top notch.

faiths. She delivered and beyond. In a short time, she managed to write our personalized ceremony (from a distance, since we werent in Chicago yet) and on the day of, delivered it like a pro. We highly recommend her services for your special day! She will make you feel good in the process and take that part of the wedding off your shoulders. We trusted her and it was all we wanted and more. My family and guests all enjoyed a well written and delivered ceremony. We thank you Minister Debra Ann!

ndividual concern was very heartwarming on our special day. She had every detail just the way we asked!! Thank You Again Minister Debra Ann

lso chosen to do some premarital coaching with her. We've had a couple sessions so far and it has already helped strengthen our relationship. Even when we discussing things that my fiancé and I have talked about previously, it seems to be at a deeper level. Debra Ann is able to tell stories of her relationship and struggles that she's been though or experiences that she has had with other couples. She is very open and honest about everything that we talk about. Each time we meet we end up longer and it's never a dull moment. It really feels like we've known her for a long time. We can't wait for our wedding and know that she is the perfect person for us.

we wanted and performed the ceremony exactly how we had hoped. We can't thank her enough for the warmth, attention to detail, and love that she brought to our special day. Her inclusion of our children and guests into the ceremony was the icing on the cake. Thank you Rev Deb!

ding. It was a session full of caring, advice, and compassion. My husband and I left inspired to love and we felt stronger than ever as a couple. Every single detail was discussed and thought out. You will get what you wished for and MORE. She suggested things that I did not even think myself which made our ceremony unique and unforgettable. One of those that swept our mothers away was the rose ceremony. During the ceremony, we both went over to our moms, hugged them and handed them a rose as a sign of unity and appreciation. Our mothers cried of happiness and it left them speechless. This is just one small detail of this ceremony. We were also able to choose our desired level of religion, as well as what feeling we wanted to show, for example intimate, humorous or uplifting. We were able to plan the perfect ceremony for us. My husband is Irish, so she kindly added some Irish blessings that his guests loved. We grew so close to Debra that she feels like my second mother. She will care for you with limitless love. I highly recommend to choose her with no doubt. Love you, Debra!

ve known each other for a lifetime. Her graceful and elegant style along with her God-centered approach helped make today the best day of our lives so far. If you are looking for someone who will approach your ceremony as if it were her own, don't look further than Minister Debra Ann.
