ay I have no complaints. The evening went so smoothly thanks to the team at Vista Lago. They were constantly checking on my husband and I throughout our wedding. One of the most important details to me was the food and the food here was incredible. Everyone was raving about how great everything tasted. You have the ceremony, cocktail and reception all in one location. Not only is it great for weddings, but it is also great for baby showers, 15’s, birthdays and a lot of other fun events. It has high ceilings with beautiful chandeliers. It’s a gorgeous venue and the best value you will find in Miami. If you are anything like me and very indecisive and anxious, Vista Lago is the place to hold your wedding at. We are both incredibly happy we chose this venue and will be choosing this venue for future celebrations. They also gave us the left overs. We couldn’t eat on our wedding because of our nerves but we were able to enjoy the food the day after and everyone was right it was sooo good

We didn’t want to have a wedding because they are so expensive and add up so quickly but Vista Lago has everything you need to have a classic wedding without breaking the bank - you cannot beat it! The food was delicious, staff were so incredibly kind and Shantal was so sweet, patient and helped set up the venue / decor exactly how I wanted it! They are also great with communications - always respond so fast to all questions. Overall had a fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone!

d the staff.. PHENOMENAL!! The wedding nerves definitely got to me on the big day, but Raquel and the whole catering staff took care of me like no other! Our guests had the night of their lives! They enjoyed the food, venue, and staff! Even a month after the wedding we are still getting multiple compliments about how amazing Vista Lago was on our special day! 10/10 recommend, thank you again!!

om is gorgeous. The food is delicious and everyone loved it, the wait staff was only serving certain tables during cocktail hour. Our head tables didnt try the cocktail hour apps. Our wedding was rained out, so we had to improvise and have our ceremony inside. Thank god for our wedding planner because all the staff from this venue did was RUSH her... they didnt allow us to set up until 3PM and they didnt give us any staff to help set up because "you have your own wedding planner she can do it"... the day before the wedding I was being stressed about something I wanted last minute and instead of helping me they made it more stressful. To put the icing on the cake the owners never told us the lake was under construction. A big yellow bulldozer in the middle and a mountain of rocks would be the backdrop of our ceremony pictures, when everyone noticed including the photographers they told them "use photoshop" what kind of attitude is that? This venue only cares about MONEY... once you pay them they are done. Do not recommend im glad its over and we enjoyed our wedding day....

e first venue we visited and when we went we fell in love with the place much more. The attention was special from the first moment. The owners of the place were very kind as well as all the team members. They were always ready to help, to answer our questions and give us solutions. They took care of every detail of the wedding. and they met our expectations. The wedding planner was on top of everything and was very helpful. All we can say is Thank you Vista Lago and everyone on the team for making our day special.

ding decorations (ie signs, garlands, framed pictures, etc) he didn’t even need to give them instructions on where to put them, they took care of arranging everything and it looked perfect. There’s nothing I would change. 2. Their wedding package was practically all-inclusive. We had the venue, caterer, bartenders, and DJ all taken care of; we also went with their cake baker and florist recommendations. All we had to find were the photographers and officiant. Seeing other couples stressing out about finding and coordinating with all those vendors made us that much more grateful for Vista Lago. We didn’t hire a wedding planner and never felt that we needed to. 3. Multiple guests commented on how much they loved the food and how great the service was, from the servers who were attentive to those with dietary restrictions to the bartenders who remembered people’s drinks orders when they returned to the bar. 4. I can’t say enough great things about the day-of coordinator. The pace of our wedding flowed so nicely because of her. There were no lulls and nothing felt rushed. They have so many weddings here that they have the whole process DOWN and everything ran like clockwork. 5. The PRICE!! At the end of the day, the bill went well above the base price but that was because of all of our add-ons toward the end, which we would not have chosen had we surpassed our budget. We’ve been to weddings with much bigger budgets where the experience wasn’t nearly as enjoyable as our wedding was at Vista Lago. A few areas of improvement, because nobody’s perfect: 1. Communication with Raquel and Jose was a challenge sometimes. I know they’re incredibly busy, but we were sometimes confused about the best contact method (text? email? another email?). We’re from out-of-town and had no one local to help with anything so that was stressful sometimes. 2. It would be really helpful to have instructions with a timeline of what should be arranged with them at certain times, like food tastings, linen choices, etc and the final deadline to request any add-ons. 3. Although I was thrilled with my choice of add-ons, nobody ever told me about them. I just happened to see Vista Lago’s Instagram pictures of another wedding that had some of those details, like different charger plates. It would’ve been great if they had all of their options outlined somewhere in the documentation (along with the prices) so you can check the boxes of what you want and email it to them by a certain date to avoid miscommunications. I felt like our choices were made last-minute and haphazardly. All in all, we would 100% recommend Vista Lago as a wedding venue!! Raquel, Jose, the day-of coordinator (so sorry I don’t remember her name!) and the rest of their team created our perfect dream wedding.

ast year with Vista Lago and everything came out perfectly!!! Jose and Raquel are the sweetest. RJ was incredibly fast and responsive. Veronica was so good at maintaining the entire wedding on schedule and such a sweetheart. I also have to give an big shout-out to Rob the DJ. Every guest kept saying how much fun they had because he definitely brought that MIAMI HEAT! Request him if you can. The cook also killed it by serving up such delicious food. The waiters and bartenders were so attentive and nice. I have nothing but love for this venue and if you can I definitely recommend it! Have your wedding here and you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks, Vista Lago for everything. You made the wedding of our dreams come true.

t everything was great. The cake and flowers which are included were also very good, although different affiliated vendors. And the drinks and bartender were good as well. The staff is amazing! The event coordinator and the day of person were super helpful. We live in VA, and the coordinator had zoom meetings with us and allowed my parents to do the tasting. The day of coordinator kept our drinks filled and ensured the party ran smoothly. The couple who run the place can be annoying and hard to work with at times. They sometimes go back on their word, so make sure you get everything in writing. They did let us postpone twice though, thanks Covid. Overall everything worked out and we and our guests had an amazing time. I would definitely do a party there again.

He never added any stress or worries. He made me comfortable every step of the way. The wedding itself was beautiful. The venue is simple and gorgeous. You could dress it up or leave it as is, like we did. The food was delicious. Guests are still talking about it two months later. The DJ also took the time to look at our music preference and made it happen. 100% recommend!

September 3, 2021. We traveled from Indiana to Miami to get married! We have nothing but amazing things to say. If we could get remarried over and over again here, we absolutely would. They were so efficient and made sure everything went smooth for our big day. It was literally a dream come true. Amazing venue. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing drinks! Everything! When it came time for My Wedding, it was seriously a no brainer. After a quick consult with Jose & Raquel, we were booked and ready to move on planning yet another event. ding. Having previously been guests there at one of our best friend’s wedding, we knew the quality was top notch. That helped us make the decision to book with them for our big day. Honestly, it’s the best all-inclusive event location in Miami. What you get for what you pay is beyond what you would expect. In the 6 months between our booking and the wedding day, Raquel was available to answer every single question I had (which, when planning a wedding mid-pandemic ends up being many more questions than normal). She was patient and helpful every step of the way, always cheerful and friendly. On the day, they took care of EVERYTHING. Every single piece of decor, every detail, was arranged exactly how we had asked for it to be. As soon as our ceremony ended, we were asked what we wanted to drink, they made sure to have a plate with the food our guests were enjoying during the cocktail hour to make sure we didn’t miss out, they bustled my dress, went over our music selections to make sure when we entered the reception the rest of the night would be just as perfect. The food is delicious! Several guests commented afterwards how much they loved it. The music was awesome...they listened to what we asked for and delivered 100% of it. We were so happy on our wedding day and love that we get to reminisce on how wonderful it was thanks to everyone at Vista Lago! Can’t recommend it enough!

Whether it was the view, the ballroom and lacked elegance, no transition, exc. we couldn’t find a place that checked all our boxes until VISTA LAGO BALLROOM!! When we drove up the the classic look of the building was already a check off the list. The magic doesn’t really start until you walk inside, it’s like stepping through a portal that takes you to into your own fairytale. The high ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers take your breath away. Looking to the back through the big big Looking to the back through the large royal windows is the most beautiful picturesque view of the lake. It honestly took my breath away. We knew instantly they we had struck gold. The coordinators are so through and really help you through the process. I had a vision of the wedding in my head and was afraid that like the rest of the locations we saw ,that VLB would have a million restrictions. To my surprise apart from normal regulations and safety hazards they are extremely flexible. They really help you out together your vision of the best day ever. I e met with the owners who have many years of express wedding planners and coordinators! We explained our vision and concerns and they made us feel so comfortable and heard. They as well as there staff are so loving and kind and really hands on. After going through everything my husband and I knew right ways this was our wedding venue no question ! Raquel, Jose, Leydis, Cecilia, and Roly are the most amazing team out there. They are like working with family. They treated us with so much love and support and made us feel at home. All through the process they were there helping and guiding us. Any question I had they would be so quick to respond and give us guidance. We put our faith in theirs hands and they did not disappoint. Their food is amazing no matter what you chose you will love it. The DJ kept us dancing all night long ! Our guests are still talking about how great the Food and party was. I apologize that this review is long but there are so many amazing things to say about the VLB FAMILY! I can not thank them enough for making our special day the most amazing day possible. They took care of us and I honestly feel blessed to have found such a lovely place. a plan B and everything still came out exactly how we imagined. The food was so tasty and Leydis our coordinator, did such an amazing job at ensuring every detail was exactly how we wanted. My wife and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! DJ Roly was great..he went over all our music choices and kept everyone dancing! Everyone we worked with at VLB was very attentive the whole night! Loved that so many things were included in our package and we didn’t have to worry about finding outside vendors. Our best night ever, definitely recommend this venue to family and friends!!

This team exudes such professionalism at all times. We appreciate all the hard work as the staff at Vista Lago Ballroom made everything seem effortless. From the beginning we wanted our ceremony to take place outside. Mother Nature had other plans and it rained non-stop. Raquel and Ceci reached out asking where to place the arch and I went with my gut and recommended it be placed outside. I was clear if it rained, the ceremony would be moved inside. Upon arrival Ceci and Raquel told me the weather cooperated and we were ready to move the wedding outside in the cemented area since the grass area was damp. I had no problem with that compromise and the ceremony took place which is what we had envisioned. We want to take a moment to thank Ceci for taking care of business. She ensured everything flowed without a hitch. We thank her for making sure our small wedding court knew where the needed to go, that James and I ate after the ceremony, she helped me with my wedding bustle within 5 seconds. Just exceptional! Ceci always had a smile on her face and was an absolute delight. All the positive things that can be said of her, it all applies. Ceci you made this date the absolute best. We loved the layout of the gift table, the welcome poster, everything. Our guests cannot stop raving about the food/ceremony bites, bar area, location, ease of parking, ceremony/reception layout. Everything was top notch. DJ Roly was on it with the music and accommodated all of our needs! Our guests danced the night away. DJ Roly is a true master in his craft. We also recommend using Florida booth for your photo booth needs. Because it was Christmas time we had Xmas and wedding props. Our guests loved the Grinch and reindeer masks and that they could keep prints. We can't wait to see the cloud version. In conclusion, Vista Lago went above and beyond for our wedding. e ceremony is held is beautiful with a Lakeview. The reception area is very spacious and was decorated exactly how we pictured it. I had Ceci & Leydis only a text or call away with any questions or concerns from the moment I booked. Ceci & Raquel actually worked the night of my actual wedding and they made sure everything went exactly as planned so that lifted a weight off my shoulders. I am forever grateful to Raquel and Jose for everything they did for my wedding, from Jose putting together a package that fit our needs to Raquel helping keep my veil in place, LOL, it was a windy day in September! When it comes to hospitality, the staff at this venue really go all out for their clients and that is something I will never forget. The food was amazing, the DJ was great, the bartender worked her butt off, I honestly cannot find a single bad thing to say. I had an amazing experience and I will definitely recommend to my friends!

Everything ran right on schedule, but the staff have a way of making everyone feel comfortable, relaxed and at home without any of the rush and hassle we’ve experienced at other facilities. You can attribute that to their level of preparedness. They arranged everything - the food, music and party games, and happily accommodated a few surprises we arranged for the bride, groom and guests. We didn’t really have to lift a finger or put out any fires. The food was very, very good and I think it’s more than fair to say our guests had a great time. I should also add the pricing here was excellent, easily to the low side of the quotes we received. This proved especially impressive in lieu of the quality of the reception they provided for us. We’re completely out of daughters but if we had any more of them to marry off, we’d gladly recommend they check this wonderful place out first.

The day of the wedding Cecilia took care of everything in a phenomenal way and made sure I didn't have to raise a finger for anything (Thank you so much Cecilia!!). The reason that I am giving them four stars instead of five is because the day of the wedding I had multiple guests tell me the serving staff was rude to them and one of them even dropped a cup of the soda on the table and just left it there, did not clean it up right away. Obviously the day of the wedding that was very awkward and embarrassing to hear such complaints. I let Cecilia know and like a true professional she addressed it immediately. Also the whole time leading up to the wedding I was dealing with and communicating with Leydis, which made me feel at ease because I had met with her personally several times and she knew exactly every little detail for the day of the wedding. On the actual day I was kind of blindsided to see Cecilia there, whom I had not built rapport with at all and had not discussed everything with in detail. I feel that being informed prior that Cecilia was going to be my coordinator the day of the wedding and having a chance to build rapport with her would have been better and made me feel better. The reason this was an issue for me was because the day of the wedding although the centerpieces were beautiful they were not the way I have discussed and chosen with Leydis the day of my tasting so I was a little bummed about that. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend them to my friends, there are just little things that should be addressed. Thank you to everyone at Vista Lago for an amazing wedding!!

o weeks prior to my wedding I was like a chicken with my head cut off, I kept changing little details here and there and not once did I hear a complain or get attitude on their part. On the day of, I basically dropped a load of items for Leydis to decorate the venue with and I did not get one text ! She prepared everything and did all the sweating for me! Not to mention she made sure I ATE!! I was never without food or drinks. She is AMAZZINGGG!! Raquel and Jose are so sweet and they really took the time during my first appointment to listen to my wants and make sure I stayed within my budget. Cecilia was incredible as well making sure that all my messages reached Leydis and even returning my missed call the day of the wedding. Finally, DJ Roly .. I mean WOW a wedding is nothing without the proper entertainment. DJ ROLY reallyyyy delivered from beginning to end there was no complains from my guest! The party was great, the food was great, and the service was impeccable! Thank you Thank you Thank you! P.S.: Budget Brides this is your venue! All inclusive!

ces. I was having a big wedding with a low budget which began to be impossible to make it happen. I was recommended Vista Lago ballroom by a family member, I wasn’t sure if to go see it because it was a ballroom which was not my first choice. As I walked in to the ballroom and saw the drapped chandeliers, the view of the lake and the greeting by Cecilia and Leydis, I knew I had found my wedding venue. Not only is the ballroom breathtakingly gorgeous, and the people so willing to make your day perfect, but they have the best prices in all of Miami. When I say best prices I don’t mean cheap prices for a cheap wedding, I mean reasonable pricing for an amazing wedding! With the help of Leydis, Cecilia and Raquel, my day couldn’t have been more perfect. I will forever be thankful to them for making the most important day of my life as smooth and worry less as possible. Cecilia was tiying my shoes throughout the whole night, while Leydis was making sure my husband and I were eating and anything we needed we just looked up and they were there. And let’s not forget DJ roly that played the exact music I wanted to hear on my wedding and kept the party going for the whole night! Thank you guys so much for everything! I definitely recommend Vista Lago Ballroom above any other venue in Miami!

Great value for what you get to make this any bride and grooms special day. Days before the big day Leydis was hands on to ensure we had everything perfect. Allan and I are music snobs so we had high demand of music and between Raquel, Leydis and ROLY they brought our vision to life. They don’t offer a rehearsal unless you pay and at first it had me worried but being we got married on a Sunday and friends coming from out of town it was hard for us anyways. They reassured me it will be ok and they didn’t disappoint. Their structure is so organized you would think you rehearsed 100 times. I didn’t get to eat much but the few bites I took of the steak was delicious, our guests raves about the food. They’re so maticlous with every detail. The day was perfect thanks to them. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone planning a special event. Note to brides it goes by so fast so book the extra hour it’s worth it. Thank you Vista Lago.
