o the venue it was more than I imagined it could be. We received raves about the wedding venue, the food, the atmosphere, the starlight ceremony, the hotel and most importantly the staff. From the front desks smiling faces to their hospitality and professionalism, to the chef, catering staff, managers and coordinators who made this fairy tale wedding for my daughter come true without a glitch. We booked with Mike the Sales/events manager who listened and understood what we wanted but the man was Bill catering manager who gave us great ideas and feedback, made sure that everything we requested, from the rooftop night ceremony, food and venue was perfect.

people that really love what the do, they really want to help you and please you and they are really passionate about their work. The Venue: from the rooftop to the penthouse, it is amazing, Manhattan skyline! we fell in love with the place the first time we saw it! need I say more? The Food: there are lots of choices! guests loved it! from appetizers to desserts! yummy! The Staff: as I said I can't them enough! MIKE and BILL, a million thanks! from planning to the day itself you've been hands on, from small things such as linen colors to letting us putting our stuff the night before and letting us set-up (thanks Patrick), to putting my wedding bouquet in the kitchen refrigerator, to bringing us food in the Bridal suit because we can't make it to Cocktail hour, to bringing us food on our table during the wedding day so we don't need to stand up and go to the buffet, to having us some food to go, to checking up on us every time if we need something (we really appreciate you Bill). w it in person we fell in love with it and knew this was where we wanted to get married. We didn't even see other venues since it was love at first sight. We booked eight months before the big day and from that moment I had a lot of contact with Mike and he always answer all my questions and concerns. Mike was amazing at helping us with our vision and all of the details a wedding comes with. We choose to have the ceremony and cocktail hour at the rooftop and reception at the ballroom. Closer to the wedding day we met with MD and went over all the details and again he was a pleasure to work with. We had an issue with a vendor that it was recommended and right away MD got us someone else. The day of the wedding Mike and MD made sure that everything went as planned and that we had the wedding that we had been planning for the last 8 months. All of our guest raved about how great the food, service and of course views were. If you are looking for a place with stunning views of the NYC skyline with excellent food and service then this is the place for you.

I emailed and texted him constantly and was always responded to or called on the phone in a timely manner, and always with patience and kindness. I'm sure I drove the man crazy but he never made me feel that way. Always professional and accommodating. He literally bent over backwards to fulfill whatever requests I made, even up to the day of. He relieved the stress and even made me laugh a lot through out the process. Everyone on staff was also extremely pleasant and accommodating. Guests were offered their leftovers to go! I have never seen this at any wedding venue. The food was good and the view spectacular! Everyone could not stop raving about this place. One guest was so impressed she spoke to MD right there on the spot about having a party next year. Highly recommend this place and would have another event there in a heartbeat. best views we have seen (and the first day we saw it was a gray, rainy and cloudy day, and it was still incredible). We had our cocktail hour on the roof (Skylounge); the food was great, there was plenty of seating for our guests, and the space is a good size. The reception was held in the Vista Penthouse Ballroom, right downstairs; the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows are breathtaking, the food was delicious, the dance floor is a great size. They also have valet parking , which is a plus in NYC. We worked with MD Mannan, who made our preparation very easy, and he made sure our wedding day was perfect. He made sure we had all the details covered, recommended some great vendors who we ended up using, and he was very responsive throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, he was there to ensure that everything flowed smoothly. The setup of the venue was perfect, he made sure our outside vendors had access to what they needed, and he kept the evening flowing smoothing, from getting our guests quickly from the cocktail hour to the ballroom venue for the reception, organizing our grand entrance, making sure the dinner courses were served in a timely fashion, etc. We absolutely love Vista Skylounge and Penthouse, and want to thank MD and his staff for making sure that our wedding was perfect!

er food recommendations paid off. Little known fact is that the chef worked at one of the most exclusive high end restaurants in Manhattan- Sant Ambroeus, so the food is out of this world. All our guests said the food was the best they had at any wedding venue. I highly recommend both of them and Vista Sky Lounge for any event. Can't wait to have another reason to have an event here! We had them add sangria to our menu, which the guests very much enjoyed. The end of the night, we really appreciated the staff helping us pack up and ensuring we had all our decorations. Every detail was taken care of and MD was very patient will all our demands the night of.

had and were very accommodating. My civil wedding was on the roof top and wanted some special chairs, no issues. Food was very nice presented and our guests loved it. They kept talking about the mushroom ravioli. Very patient MC and professional waiting staff. One small thing I did not like was the pastries they had been too big and did not match the rest of the evening nice food presentation…ask for a sample before. Otherwise I would totally recommend this place for any happy event you have in your family.

taff turnover here is very high and there is clearly conflict at every level of staffing, starting at the top, making the place a client nightmare. They ripped us off by over charging on pretty much everything (charged our credit card without authorization after our event), switched out drinks, agreed to and charged for premium bar then mysteriously ‘ran out' of premium after first half hour of event and served cheap brands to our guests instead. The rooms were dirty, poor quality, not cleaned. Our family and friends had traveled from all over the world, the hotel mucked up check ins, the service was poor, everyone that stayed there was unhappy with the way they were treated - not at all 'Sheratonesque'. The Sheraton executives should be concerned this place is associated with their brand. The hotel room booking director & event manager agreed to a pref rate on the rooms for our guests then over charged everyone...charged the wrong people for the wrong rooms etc. It took months afterwards and masses of phone calls and emails to try to sort out all the room booking mistakes (only about 60% were, we gave up after 3 months and sent guests money ourselves out of sheer embarrassment), their booking agents are beyond incompetent. I had to spend my entire wedding morning sorting out the hotel’s event mistakes (of many things that had already been previously clarified and confirmed). As an example (just one of many) I missed my nail, make up and hair appointments on my wedding day and was late to the church ceremony because all the seating was messed up and I had to go there myself to fix it. Despite the fact that every single detail to the last letter had been planned, confirmed, put in to writing and agreed to by all parties WEEKS before they still managed to muck up the seating, the timing of the event, the dj set up, the lighting etc etc. The manager in charge of the event didnt even show up till it started - he was not there prior to ensure smooth sailing and the junior assistant he had on scene instead had no idea what was going on or knew anything about the event. There was no one to assist in the decor set up for basics like making sure the plates were set nicely and the napkins put out at every seat - we had to do a lot of that ourselves, it was beyond stressful and upsetting. The event was meant to end at 1230am - the waiters started taking off table cloths and folding tables at 1145pm!! It was mortifying. They yes’d us to death throughout the booking process, assuring us the issues we were seeing were not going to be so on the day, but they simply couldn’t deliver. Finally after paying them an utter fortune over several months the owner had the audacity to tell us - on our wedding day - that the small amount (in comparison to how much we already paid them) we were withholding (because so many mistakes were being made and we wanted to see them rectified first) meant they were going to cancel our wedding - yes they said this to us on our wedding day a few hours before it was due to start!!! Seriously, the nice view isnt worth the stress and upset. BE WARNED

during the year and half. The views of the city are amazing. We had our cocktail out on the roof top, yes in the middle of winter. We were told that the heat would be on at least 2 hours before the main event took place, however, many guest said that it was cold and it didn't start to warm up until cocktail hour was almost over. However, the food was amazing. The service was amazing. They really took care of the bride and groom and made sure we always had what we needed. The main event took place in their ballroom and the room can be done in any layout that you choose. They do give you a room for a night. We ended up staying in the honeymoon suite, which was beautiful. I would highly recommend this vendor.
