Vista View Events at Open Heart Ranch

Where do we even begin? This place is a literal DREAM. My now wife and I wanted to find some place in the mountains to spend our special day, and boy did we find the perfect place. Kinsey and her team go above and beyond in everything they do, from helping us get a new (and amazing) wedding planner last minute, to also helping find us a hair stylist the morning of the wedding because ours decided to ghost us. The whole place is amazing for those getting married and guests. There are so many places for people to spend time talking with other people and enjoying incredible views. We’ve been told by everyone from our wedding that ours was easily one of the best that they’ve ever attended and that would not have happened without Vista View Events! If we could do it all over again we would pick VVE every time! ❤️❤️

I'm giving VVE 5 stars because of the overall level of service we were given by Kinsey through the process. Everything we wanted to make happen, she helped us figure out - she was incredibly professional and kind. We did have a few issues with a few other vendors, but that fault did not land on Kinsey or VVE. Kinsey was willing to talk with my husband and I after our wedding to help us figure out a few things and it helped us feel heard and overall helped us be able to reflect upon our big day with happy thoughts and memories regardless of a few things arising with other vendors. Some notes I want to share- the inhouse coordination does a great job but can definitely use some work in getting their timeline out earlier and to make sure vendors get that timeline/have ample time to truly look it over. Another mention would be that the Decor Faire package is super expensive, and I wished some of it had just been included with what we were already paying. It seemed like a lot and especially with not having a circle arch or a later last call/closing time offered in the base pricing. My husband did mention it was a huge headache not having a grooms suite- not something we really thought about and he did make a good point of how with that pricing there should be both bridal and groom suites. I do agree with that. Other than these few things, it's overall an amazing venue, amazing views, super spectacular service from Kinsey, and I would recommend to anyone wanting to get married in Colorado.

I can't say enough about how amazing this venue is. As soon as my wife and I toured VVE, we knew within minutes that there was no place we would rather get married. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and truly provided us the wedding of our dreams. Once you see the venue for yourself, you will absolutely fall in love and realize how special of a place it is. To top it all off, the venue owner, Kinsey, is incredible. My wife and I would joke around about how we would invite Kinsey to the wedding if she wasn't the owner. She really does have a passion for what she does and made our wedding feel special from the very beginning. She was flexible and accomodating, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Our wedding was an absolute dream come true! We love the VVE team and can’t recommend this beautiful venue enough. They are professional, supportive, responsive and kind.

This venue really needs no words. Once you see it, you’ll fall in love with the space, the surroundings and especially the owner. Meeting with Kinsey sealed the deal for us. She and her team have created something magical at Vista View Events. The care they show for their couples is incredible and they went out of their way to make our day special. They really thought of every detail so if you are lucky enough to secure a date with VVE, know that you’re in good hands!

Kinsey was seriously amazing. I honestly can’t say enough about her and her venue. She’s such a kind person! The way she runs her business is truly immaculate, we could get married in a cardboard box and it wouldn’t matter because Kinsey is so professional and amazing to work with, it would be perfect anyways! Haha! Vista View is a very clean venue with beautiful views. The staff is great, like a well oiled machine lol. I would get married here a thousand times if I could. If you’re on the fence about booking here, don’t be. You won’t regret it! :)

Our DREAM WEDDING! We found this venue online, knowing we wanted to get married in Colorado and booked it site unseen. We visited during vacation (after booking) and instantly knew we made the very best decision. We wanted an upscale black tie themed wedding and this venue delivered, you can dress this venue up to whatever theme you can image! Kinsey and the entire team are SO PROFESSIONAL, they communicate quickly and always had the best recommendations. They don't micromanage who you select as a vendor (which I loved the flexibility of picking my own photographer etc. and not having set vendors) but they do provide resources and suggestions. Our wedding day was a dream, down to every single little detail. The bartender rocked, at one point I walked over for a cocktail and she had already made my drink exactly how I requested and had it waiting for me, there was also never a line. Our guests raved about the view and venue! I cannot say enough amazing things about VVE, if you want a Colorado venue of your dreams don't hesitate to book here the VENUE and TEAM is incredible!

THE VENUE OF OUR DREAMS!!! I’m not sure where to even start because I had such an amazing experience!!! The moment we saw this place, it had our hearts. My favorite part about this place isn’t the view, but the people. From our walk throughs with Katie, to our talks with Kinsey, to our days with Charley, we had a wonderful staff experience. Katie and Kinsey have made this place their heart and soul and you can definitely tell. They were amazing from start to finish. They have planners through Kosi Events who work with them and this was an AMAZING experience. We did not run into another venue who had planners so easily available. So I loved it!!! We were so thankful to be paired with Charley from Kosi and she was the real star of our day. We could not have done this without the staff being there for us so much through this entire process. We felt truly lucky and blessed. This venue team did literally everything for us. By the end, I truly felt like I was speaking with friends. We will truly remember them forever and our experience was heightened because of these amazing and hardworking people. As for the venue itself & the view: unbeatable!!!! From the field to the deck, this place is magical!!! The new decor faire option is also AMAZING! Definitely take advantage!!! We really had the greatest wedding of all time and all our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was. THANK YOU VISTA VIEW!!! Words can never describe what you guys mean to us and what you’ve done for us. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. Amazing experience. RUN and book them right now!!! No words can describe how incredible our experience was with Vista Views. It was such a beautiful and perfect day my husband and I have been saying we wish we could do it all over again. Working with Kinsley was such a pleasure. She made me feel so comfortable and helped ease all of worries especially since my wedding was a destination wedding. The venue is even more stunning than the pictures, my guests and family still talk about our wedding. The day of all I had to do was get ready and they handled everything else! Thank you so much Vista View Team for making my mountain wedding dreams come true.

Dreamy is one word that sums up our wedding at VVE! Kinsey was wonderful to work with - very responsive and willing to help us determine how to best create ideas we had dreamed up! We would recommend VVE to anyone we know - our day was beautiful and everything went off without a hitch.

Kinsey was always and will likely always be very responsive, detailed and exciting. Besides the venue being drop dead gorgeous, Kinsey was a major reason why we chose Vista View Events. We felt this was a place run by people we could trust to ensure our big day was everything we could ever dream of. Kinsey was very communicative during the early months of COVID - helping us understand how and why our wedding was being affected by our states regulations. When the time came to make the decision on how to move forward with our wedding, we were ready to cancel completely and chalk this up to a very unfortunate experience. Because my own business basically closed over night, we knew at this point it more important to save our money and work on rebuilding our lives. When we made this decision, we were told if we canceled we would receive none of our payment back. We were enticed to pay in full for a 5% discount, totaling a mere $285 in savings. Vista View has a clause in their contract stating “Vista View Events is not liable for and does not provide refunds for events not held due to uncontrollable circumstances. Uncontrollable circumstances included but are not limited to family issues or obligations, an act of God or war or weather”. Because of this clause and COVID, we made the decision to postpone our wedding until 2021 instead of walking away loosing $5,865. During this time of postponement, Vista View received their liquor license which meant we had to cancel our already paid for contract with our preselected beverage vendor. Luckily our beverage vendor was completely understanding and gave us our money back in full, breaching their own contract to do so. Because of drug out frustrations and our life as newly weds taking off, we decided it was best for us to move forward in life and cancel our wedding. We understood what our contract stated and that Vista View would likely provide no flexibility in even a partial refund, but we moved forward with our decision. All of our vendors worked with us on refunds and were understanding that COVID was something worth being flexible about. I even had a vendor offer our deposit back - but he needed time to make the money to give back to us. We are not greedy or facetious people. We understand more than most that COVID has taken a huge toll on people financially as we ourselves were affected in our professional industries. We hoped Vista View would find some understanding in the last year and be willing to work with us on even a partial refund, but that has not been the case. We were thankful to receive our security deposit back, even though we would have if our event had taken place as planned. We understand what our contract states, but we have also learned how to be flexible and understanding while suffering through a pandemic. Though we wish no ill wishes to Vista View, we feel obligated to share our story as their actions have contributed to our heart break of the last year. We encourage anyone who plans to have a wedding with Vista View or any venue, to read your contract (every line - fine print), weigh the benefits of a 5% discount if paid in full, hope their are no “acts of God” that affect your wedding and be flexible when your venue breaches their own contract obtaining their liquor license.

We had a wonderful experience getting married at Vista View! We had to delay our wedding a year and the owners were more than accommodating! They work so hard to make a special venue even better and they also go above and beyond for their couples on the day. They have some requirements in place in their contracts (insurance, day of coordinator, damage deposit) that gives you piece of mind that what you are paying for is as beautiful in the pictures as in person. They also offer a lot of flexibility in terms of catering and decor. We had a guest that travels a lot and he compared the view to that of an Italian lakeside! Not a bad compliment to receive! We felt like we were part of the family with Vista View and were always able to access them to ask questions and get recommendations. They had some things you can use for your wedding like a photo booth backdrop, tables, their chair varieties, and decor options for the ceiling. Basically, besides the groom of course, my favorite thing we chose for our wedding. It was definitely worth the wait!

So gorgeous it felt like a dream, and wonderful to work with! We switched our venue unexpectedly 45 days before our wedding, and won the venue lottery when we found VVE. Extremely organized and easy to work with. If you are looking for a venue in the area, look no further.
