My husband and I cannot even find the words to describe how INCREDIBLE Scott was as our wedding DJ. He was amazing to work with from start to finish - he took the time from the ver...
y beginning to get to know us as a couple and to truly understand the vibe we wanted for our ceremony and reception. Everything on the day of was absolutely seamless - he set up all of the equipment and lighting, and was the absolute best master of ceremonies we could have asked for. And then the freaking playlist!! He CRUSHED everything from the music during the dinner to the BANGERS he played for our reception party. Our guests talked about our reception for months after, and we owe so much of it to Scott. We cannot recommend Scott enough, he made our wedding weekend absolutely incredible and unforgettable!!
Scott, where do we even begin?! We picked Scott because of all the wonderful reviews online and the consistent theme of “best party ever” and boy did he really live up to the task!...
From the minute we started working with Scott, he was a delight. He is so personable and so clearly cares about making your wedding memorable. During our final planning meeting, he didn’t just review our song choices. Scott got on our call and got to know us, then pitched ideas on how we could take the night to the next level.
Obviously everyone cares about the dancing and the reception, but Scott is also a great asset for the whole day. His set up of the mics and the sound system for the ceremony was so seamless and helped make the day run smoothly. He clearly knows his stuff and kept the whole day running with his MCing.
Throughout the night, so many people came up to us to tell us how great the music was and how much fun they were having. He took our list of suggested songs and made it feel like we were at our own personal club. He even got both sets of grandparents onto the floor, which was a huge accomplishment. I don’t think our dance floor was ever empty. Then after our wedding, we stayed in Key West for our honeymoon. When Scott heard we would be around, he invited us out to play pickle ball with him! We feel like we could run into Scott in a bar one day and pick right up like old friends. If you are on the fence about a DJ, look no further. Scott will help you have the absolute best night of your life.

that would cater to my taste of music as well as my crowd. I called him months in advance, and he was super personable and straight to the point on the phone with questions I had. He was quick to answering our emails or giving us calls back to help with our song requests, and even gave feedback with what he's seen be successful at previous weddings. The day of the wedding, he was SO prepared and precise with our schedule throughout the reception! I was blown away. He made clear and concise announcements about our audio guest book and kept the night moving efficiently with dances, speeches, cake cutting and walk out. When it was time to dance, he got my guests PUMPED UP! He transitioned every song I requested perfectly into the next, making sure everyone (including grandma and grandpa) was having a blast. Scott, thank you thank you thank you for an amazing night and setting the tone. So many of our guests came up to us saying our wedding was "the wedding of the century". If you're looking for entertainment for your wedding in Key West, seriously look no further!!!
Scott is a stone-cold pro, with a heart of gold and an ear to match. We were very happy with his professionalism, MCing, and taste in music to keep the guests moving throughout the...
evening, and he was essential to all phases of our wedding day.
From initial communication around contracts and worksheets, through our first phone call and pre-wedding check-in, all the way up to the day of the ceremony itself, Scott was a pragmatic and friendly communicator, helping us to clearly establish the tone and mood we were hoping for in our ceremony. We appreciated the detail he took in learning our families' many pronunciations and preferred means of address. He evinced these same traits on Saturday morning, during setup, and worked closely with us and our wedding coordinator to make sure our schedule and our different song selections were timed and sequenced correctly. The audio quality of his microphones and speakers was first-rate as well!
On the day of the ceremony, Scott quickly came in and set up, playing focused lo-fi tracks to help our caterers. He then MCed and DJed our pre-ceremony mingle with an equally effective taste in mood, showing flexibility and more clear communication when our start time needed pushed back. The ceremony and introduction dances before the wedding were also well-executed, and he continued keeping the party going after dinner, mixing in 80s and 90s crowd-pleasers with our selection of must-plays and additional tracks from a playlist we had prepared and shared with him prior to the ceremony.
Through each element of preparation and performance, Scott proved himself to be essential to our day! We wholeheartedly recommend him for your next event service - especially if it's a wedding :)
With love and respect,
Cameron & Carla

hoosing Scott and Visualize Entertainment as our DJ was such an easy decision! In booking a DJ, I reached out to a few DJ's in the area after doing some online research. Scott followed up with me almost immediately (some others never did). He called me to introduce himself, get to know more about my husband and I, and offer more information on his services. I felt like sometimes I had to beg vendors to get back to me, so I was really impressed by Scott's responsiveness and knew after our first phone call we would book him as our wedding DJ. He was so friendly, not at all pushy, and seemed to genuinely love his job and have a lot of fun with it. I also felt his costs were extremely reasonable compared to other DJ's I considered. Scott has an online portal that made it really easy for us to communicate to him remotely about our song selections, preferred DJ style and song preferences, etc. He even had multiple options we could choose as to what he would wear on our big day so he would be dressed appropriately - great attention to detail and consideration. In the days leading up to our destination wedding we were super busy and didn't get to have a final phone call with Scott to go over everything one last time, but I felt no worry whatsoever because I knew we could trust Scott as the expert to make our day so fun and special, and I was not wrong! The day of the wedding went seamlessly - Scott played all our favorite genres and song requests, was engaging and fun with our guests (he even danced with my husband's grandmother, which was a huge hit, led to a great photo opportunity and moment we will cherish forever, and our guests are still talking about it and raving about Scott), was professional, fun, happy, and knew exactly which songs to play all throughout our wedding - our guests never left the dance floor and our reception went by so quickly! And I didn't have to worry about a thing, which is a huge plus on the day of your wedding. Don't hesitate to book Scott as your wedding DJ, we give him our absolute highest recommendation - thank you so much, Scott!
We could not ask for a better DJ for our wedding. Scott was a low-key go-with-the-flow kind of guy and he set the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. He was true to our wishes for ...
what we wanted to play and he read the crowd well. No cheesy games or gimmicks - he just knows how to throw a good party for the people that are there. Scott went above & beyond his duties as our hired DJ as he got to know us and made sure his services were personal to us. I had some concerns about using a DJ over a band given weddings I had been to in the past but I felt comfortable with Scott from the first time we talked over the phone. For those having destination weddings I highly recommend Scott he is authentic to the Key West as I imagine one can be and helped create an ideal Key West evening at our wedding. He let us in on Key West happenings and even arranged a live band to play a song for us the day after the wedding at a local festival. He is the kind of person that we hope to hang out with the next time we’re in Key West. It is such a reassuring and amazing feeling to know that the people ‘working’ your wedding can also be someone that we consider a friend. Highly recommend if you want personal attention, a carefree atmosphere, and someone that will likely go above & beyond for your wedding.

t Scott and his company. First, he is an absolute joy to work with in the planning stages – he makes the planning fun and the company has a web interface that makes planning the music for the ceremony and reception a breeze. He was great about communicating with us all the way up to the event.
But as great as all of that was … Scott *made* the event go from a gathering of people to a memorable, surreal, incredible experience. Scott made the ceremony and dinner classy but made the party an event we will remember for all of our lives. At one point, I looked around and every single person (except for one guest who really liked the cake) was out on the dance floor. His energy level is perfect … inviting, fun, chill, but never over the top. And the uplighting was beautiful – at one point we were trying to cut costs but decided to add the uplighting at the last minute. Let me tell you, our investment in the linens, flowers, décor would have been wasted had we not had the uplighting. Trust me … it creates the décor more than the décor. One last piece of advice, if you hire Visualize, you better order a bigger dancefloor than you think you’ll need … people were dancing in the grass, the mulch, everywhere. It was the best.
Thank you, Scott and Visualize for making this important day in our lives absolutely perfect.

ad requested a huge number of songs for the second half of the reception for dancing and he did a great job of reading our crowd and choosing songs from our requests that would keep people on the dance floor. We had 40 guests who ranged in ages 25-85 and our dance floor was packed the entire night. Scott was helpful via email, though sometimes slow to respond. We had contracted Visualize to provide uplighting for our reception and they forgot to bring it and set it up. Scott immediately reimbursed us and was very honest in that it was simply human error, but the bridezilla may have had a bigger issue with this mistake than we had.

for our DJ services for our destination wedding. We were so impressed with Jimmy, who was there with us throughout the ceremony and reception. He played the best music for our crowd, and did everything he could to prepare for the rain on the Casa Marina beach without ever turning off the music, or letting anyone know it was a struggle. We looked over during dinner and he already had tarps over every piece of equipment. He made it seem effortless, even when mother nature put the pressure on him.
The coordination of everything and the fun they provided to us and our guests made for such a memorable and amazing night! They are awesome!

etting right! Scott was super accommodating and guided us to their easy-to-use online platform where we could make a list of what types of music we would like during what parts of the evening. Jimmy - our DJ that night knocked it out of the park with song selection for the entire night, from dinner on! We gave him a list of the type of music and songs we liked and the type of mood we were hoping to create and he took it from there. Dinner was so relaxing with a smooth Frank Sinatra sound and after the official dances the party got amped up from there! I'm pretty sure I only missed dancing to two songs because I was socializing (or grabbing a drink at the bar). They made my musical dreams come true. We also used our string lighting through them as well. I would highly recommend that because they lit up the areas that needed extra lighting, but also were thoughtful about where people might like a little darker setting (such as the dance floor - so the dance moves, embarrassing or not, weren't on full display!). If you are questioning who to go with - I'd absolutely move Visualize Entertainment to the top of your list!!
