With a degree in Food Studies, I love connecting people through meals...whether I’m planning events or cooking for friends and family at home.
When I moved to Charlotte in 2019, Inizio quickly became my go-to pizza spot, so it feels full circle that I now get to share that same Neapolitan pizza with couples on their wedding day. Outside of work, you’ll probably find me at a local wine bar or browsing the farmers market for inspiration.

helpful. The food was great. It struck a nice balance between casual and classy. The fact that they're bringing a woodfired pizza oven to the venue impressed a lot of guests and the freshness and quality really showed. They did a nice job with presentation, they completely set up their own buffet table with linens, decor and signs telling you what all the items are. Punctual, professional, reasonably priced for what you're getting. I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone hosting a wedding that falls toward the middle of the casual to fancy spectrum.
Oh and I kind of glossed over it but the pizza was delicious. Chewy crust with a bit of char. Tasty, quality, well-thought out toppings. I hate the word artisanal but it's probably apt here. It's pizza but it wont feel like you didn't put much thought into the food or went for a cheap option. They were exactly what we were hoping for.

while they were waiting. Our guests loved being able to order what they wanted and all raved about how delicious it was, they came in little boxes if they wanted to take some for later, and they cooked up any “extra” pizzas at the end of the night which got snatched up so quick. Highly recommend using them for your wedding/event!
