at we had to find someone that would complement what we were looking for. We did have meetings with numerous DJs but no one's mixes really compared to Seth. He was a little bit over our budget but he was worth every single penny and we would hire him again anytime! Seth was incredibly warm and welcome from the very beginning. He clearly showed that he knew what he was doing and his confidence was reassuring to us during the hectic wedding planning. He has a huge added plus of allowing us to pick out our entire song list for ceremony and reception, which was important to us as we had a specific playlist in mind. He gave us the option of only playing from our list or having him add his own flare. Having these options to choose from was great for us to make sure we got the vibes we wanted for our wedding. His MC skills also kept our reception lively, fun, and organized. My parents were even impressed despite their language barrier at his ability to keep the party going. He was super easy to work with during the entire process, quick to understand our needs and preferences (for example, understanding the perfect balance of including specific songs we wanted played, and then using his own discretion to mix in similar songs based off of the songs we provided), and very professional. During the actual event, he did an amazing job of reading the dance floor and picking the right song at the right time. He also does an amazing job of knowing just how much of a song to play before transitioning to the next, and knows how to make the transitions themselves sound good. He provides an entirely different and much better experience compared to other DJs who might just come in with a relatively fixed playlist and play each song in its entirety. We also recommended Seth to our friends who ended up using him for their wedding. That one was also lit. Last thing I'll note is Seth does a great job MC'ing as well. He's very professional and knows how to command guests' attention without overdoing it and being intrusive, which can sometimes happen with other MCs. We highly recommend Vital Event Group!

ed the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!

I put together the playlist but Seth added other songs that worked really well had great transitions and flow to all the songs. Many of my guests (and even my mom!) enjoyed the music and his DJ style. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!

Personally, I wanted to make sure the music felt like more than just a playlist running and Emmett's mixing did just that. My husband and I were having some trouble with pinpointing exact songs we wanted played so we talked to Emmett about a certain vibe we wanted and artists we liked. He worked with that and perfected the whole evening, from the pre-ceremony music through the reception. Seth was so incredibly organized and helpful leading up to the event which we were so grateful for. Having a vendor that we could trust was priceless!! They also invited us to an app where we could answer questions and add music to that was really helpful. I'd honestly recommend Vital Event Group to anyone!!

There's a million things to do when leading up to a wedding, that I really appreciated how efficient Seth communicated, listened to our requests, and executed our vision on our big day. On the day of the wedding, Seth was fully prepared in attire and professionalism. He wore a big smile throughout the whole day, and had a energy level that matched the energy of our wedding. Seth also showed great flexibility throughout the day. As with all wedding, the schedule that is planned for the day of often has delayed due to various reasons. Seth was masterfully able to keep the energy level that we were looking for with no awkward pauses throughout the day due to other scheduling issues that occurred. Overall, we were super pleased with Seth. If we need a DJ for any future event, we would definitely use Seth again. If you hire Seth, prepare for a great DJ!

Between an intro call, emails, and a planning app, we shared our vision for the wedding, and we could tell Seth was listening and reacting to what we had to say (vs some wedding DJ's we've seen who seem to be going through the motions and playing the same songs they always do). We always felt like we were in good hands. On the wedding day, Seth did a great job of playing a variety of songs that appealed to different age groups and kept people on the dance floor, while steadily building up the energy through the night to more of a party vibe. He weaved our song selections together in interesting ways and was super receptive to a few special requests we had. We also rented a photobooth, and while we didn't get to spend much time there as bride & groom, our guests seemed to enjoy it from the uploaded pictures we saw. Again, Seth was accommodating as we designed a printout tailored to our wedding aesthetic.

During the entire wedding (ceremony and reception), he had perfect timing when it came to song transitions, and knew exactly when to play what. When making announcements, he could easily grab everyone's attention and brought up the energy even more so! He was very responsive through the ENTIRE way. He provides great add-on options at a great price. We selected his uplighting & picture booth package & the guest absolutely loved every minute of it. Seth was highly organized, professional & attentive. He even provided us with his own app to fill in our music with a timeline template. He exceeded our expectations by a long shot, and we would use him time & time again if needed for any event. The app can feel overwhelming at first, but Seth reiterated to us to just fill in a couple of blanks on our music and he will take it from there, and so he did. My wife & I were on the dance floor ALL night along with our guest, he created an amazing environment for all who attended, and we really could not have asked for more. He has the most amazing setlist that perfectly matches the energy we wanted to portray. He is easy to work with and works directly alongside you to ensure your vision comes to life. Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night - from start to finish. People of all backgrounds and generations had an absolute blast, from our youngest 6-month-old guest to our 97-year-old grandmother. Seth reads the room incredibly well. He knew exactly when to cut a song a little shorter and when to let songs play out. As an emcee, he is articulate and captivating, without being too over the top as you see with some DJs. He saw his role as the facilitator of the evening and that is exactly what he did.  In addition to his DJ services, we booked Seth's photobooth which was a BLAST. The quality of the photos was amazing. At the end of the night, the photobooth attendant noticed that my husband and I never got a photo just me and him in the booth - so he quickly pulled us aside before packing up to make that happen. The whole team truly went above and beyond. We felt so heard, validated, and loved by them in this process. I can say with absolute certainty our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was without Seth and his team.
