On top of that, he did not play any of the reception dance songs that I requested, he did not play any slow dance songs, and he did not do the anniversary dance or shoe game. The day was still beautiful regardless, no one else knew or was aware of it at all, but I certainly had made these requests, and they were not followed.

The only downsides were that there were some minor mishaps. Before our parents, grandparents, and wedding party entered the reception ballroom to kickstart the reception, James had asked if our two aunts (who had done readings during our ceremony) were a part of the grand march and if he should announce them. My husband and I told him that the aunts did not need to be announced as they were not part of the grand march and they were already sitting at their tables. The grand march began not even 5 minutes later, and he still announced our aunt's names, despite us just telling him that we did not want him to do that. Our grandparents were up next to enter and didn't realize that the aunt names had been called instead of their own, so they went early and did not get to initially enter to their own names. Additionally, the song I had chosen to play as the kick starter to open dancing (after a large group photo with all of our guests) is not what was played. Lastly, there were songs I had marked as "must plays" in their DJ app, and those songs had not yet been played with only 30 minutes left of the open dancing at the reception. I had to go up to the DJ booth and specifically ask for those songs to be played, as I didn't want to risk them not being played at all. Despite these mishaps, James did a nice job and all of the other specific songs to be played (processional, recessional, unity symbol, etc.) were correct and executed how we wanted them to be. He was also wonderful with setting up our photo booth (according to our floor plan) and uplighting add-ons as well! They looked fantastic and really set the mood for the space.

fantastic — she was super responsive, kind, and helpful with all the logistics leading up to our day. Unfortunately, our experience with the DJ service itself was very disappointing. From the start, it was almost impossible to get in touch with our DJ. We’re very reasonable people and tried to be patient, but we didn’t hear from him until we finally cc’d Valery the week before our wedding. We did have one good, in-depth call, and I hoped that things would go smoothly after that — but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The ceremony music was fine, but the reception was another story. The bridal party entrances were awkward; the music started late and was so low we could barely hear it, including our song for the bride and groom entrance. Our venue wasn’t large, and the DJ had worked there before, so it shouldn’t have been a sound issue. During the reception, there were multiple moments when transitions between songs were quiet or choppy, and people stopped dancing because of it. We had provided a detailed list of preferences, including some clear “no-plays,” but those weren’t followed — slow songs were played even though we specifically requested none. Guests also commented that the DJ didn’t seem very personable or engaged. We also rented a photo booth from Vital Image, and the lighting on it was terrible — photos came out much darker than expected. Overall, I was determined to enjoy my night (and I did, because I was surrounded by loved ones), but I wanted to share our honest experience. I wouldn’t recommend Orlando for DJ services, though I can’t speak for other DJs or parts of the company.

Especially because some last-minute changes occurred to the order of events! Craig was able to roll with the punches and keep the dance floor going all night! Craig was an amazing DJ/MC! The app Vital Image has you use for your music selections makes everything so simple & smooth! Craig ended up having three different set ups at our venue, and he managed all of them like a pro! The ceremony went so smoothly and Craig made sure the correct music was playing at the right times! Although we never got to hear the cocktail hour music, our guests seems to really enjoy the music Craig played! For our grand march, Craig double checked the details with us so he made sure the introductions went smoothly! He was great at communicating with us throughout the night and helped us follow our schedule perfectly! When it came to dancing, Craig knew how to keep the dance floor busy! He was able to read the dance floor and adjust the genre to get more guests out dancing! Overall, having Craig as our DJ/MC was a phenomenal experience! As for our photographer, we had Julie! Although there were some hiccups with scheduling our initial meeting with Julie due to scheduling conflicts, she was a rockstar photographer! During our meeting with Julie, she was fun, bubbly, and made sure to listen to everything we had to say! You could tell from the initial meeting that Julie is passionate about what she does! When it came to our special day, Julie showed up on time, and got right to work! She did NOT mind helping out when we ran into some hiccups with getting my dress on! Julie went ABOVE and BEYOND the whole wedding day! During photos, she continuously asked if we needed anything (a break, a drink, something to eat, etc). She did not hesitate to stop taking photos to fix someone's hair, dress, etc! The moment Julie really went above and beyond was during sunset photos. Our venue had a pond, which Julie did not hesitate to go into! It was all her idea! She took off her shoes and socks, rolled up her pants, and went right in! Through doing this, Julie got some AMAZING shots and we cannot wait to see them! Julie even faced her fear of frogs to get some amazing photos for us! I could go on and on about how amazing Julie was! Overall, our experience with Vital Image Entertainment was phenomenal!

He's the Best MC you would want at your wedding helping the flow of things and just really getting the crowd involved. It was a blessing to have him and they really enhanced the venue into something beautiful.

s very responsive to any questions I had, and we felt well-prepared after our meeting with Craig about two weeks before the wedding. He seemed confident, and we were excited to work with him. However, on the wedding day, things didn’t go as smoothly. When Craig arrived, he seemed rushed while setting up, likely due to his own time management. Throughout the night, there were moments when he would disappear or pace around, which felt odd, and even other vendors noticed. It was frustrating because, at times, it felt like he was just playing our playlist and stepping away rather than engaging with the event. Craig also seemed to struggle with reading the dance floor. For example, when a slow song wasn’t resonating with the crowd, he followed up with another slow song instead of something upbeat to get people back on their feet. Each time we talked to him during the night, he appeared flustered, though in fairness, there were changes to the timeline due to issues with other vendors that may have contributed to this. Overall, Craig was very nice, but the execution wasn’t quite what we had hoped for.

oking for photographers I landed on three. Vital Image stood out for two reasons. One: they guaranteed that a photographer would be at your wedding, and two: they offered more than just photography. Looking back at my first reason. You might think well no sh*t they better guarantee a photographer, but here is what I really mean. They have so many photographers to choose from that if for any reason the photographer you chose could no longer work your wedding there would be a backup who had access to all of the information your original photographer talked with you about. This saved me the stress of worry about a photographer who may get sick or have a family emergency or anything else on the wedding day. I was able to look through portfolios and we landed on Mia as our photographer. We provided a second choice too but Mia was amazing and perfect in every way. She helped us feel comfortable, which is hard to do when you don’t enjoy having all the attention on you. As for the second point, Vital Image has more to offer than just photography. We decided to go with them for our entertainment purposes as well. Rich is who we landed on for our DJ. He was wonderful and did everything within his power to keep our wedding timeline on track. He had a big task ahead of him. Emceeing for a wedding with over 330 guests can be daunting. The age range of our guests was enough of a challenge. How do you reach guests as young as 6 (to be fair they tend to dance to anything), teens, young adults, adults, older adults, grandparents? I honestly do not know but Rich sure does. The dance floor had someone on it at all times which is all my husband and I wanted. Rich was quick to respond when we had questions and checked with me for any changes on the day. All in all Vital Image helped keep our wedding day a smooth one and we are forever grateful for that. Oh and an additional shout out to Valery, on of the wedding planners, who worked with me from day one. She helped me to connect with my chosen photographer and DJ. She checked in leading up to the wedding.

played the incorrect songs for the ceremony. I was on the verge of tears before walking down the aisle. During the reception, most of the songs that were played were not ones that we selected. When a bridesmaid asked James to go back to the music we selected, he asked me to step into the hallway and told me that the music my husband and I picked was not going to get people dancing, so he needed to improvise. We selected a lot of our music based on guests' requests when they RSVP'd. There were also many inappropriate comments made by James to our bridal party and guests. When I called to tell Vital Image about our experience, I spoke with Trish and she was absolutely lovely! Trish was very apologetic and did all she could to make up for our experience. If it weren't for her, our rating would've been much lower.

Craig was able to play all of our requests throughout the night and even threw in a few for our guests! I really did love the app they use to allow the couple to customize their whole day and the music to go along with it! It was great to be able to go over all of that with Craig and be on the same page about everything! I would highly recommend working with not only Vital Image, but Craig as your DJ!

o do the Photo Booth that I paid an extra $500 for, and Vital Image has this awesome App you use to put all your songs in to make it easier. Oh but don’t worry because Paul with spend over an hour on the phone confirming that you did indeed pick those songs and you want them at the times you put them in for. Maybe people like that extra confirmation but we knew what we put in and I thought that was the whole point of the app. Literally no one danced at our wedding and spend the time outside on the patio, so kind of a wasted service, but oh well.

Dj Rich was our dj for our wedding and when I say he is the BEST dj I have seen at a wedding… I mean it. I knew from our meeting over the phone a couple weeks before the big day that he was gonna be awesome! We got a lot of compliments on our vendors and he was definitely a highlight! Highly recommend!

We were nervous about finding the right DJ for us considering it isn't easy to blend the cultures in a way that keeps everyone on the dance floor. James knew just the right way to do it. Our dance floor was busy all night! He was great at taking the millions of song requests we had throughout the night. He was only very kind and asked if we were comfortable with certain songs earlier in the night that weren't completely kid-friendly since kids were still present which I thought was very thoughtful. We had just a few slight issues that were taken care of by the Vital Image team. The first issue was that something happened with his equipment at some point in the night which caused the music to stop. James fixed it as quickly as he could and got everyone right back out to the dance floor. The second issue was that our photobooth wasn't working all night. We didn't realize this until later on in the night when someone pointed it out and we had to let James know so he could try to fix it. Unfortunately it was something that wasn't able to be fixed that night, but honestly it wasn't something anyone seemed to miss. Everyone has smartphones these days and can take plenty of photos to make up for it. Vital Image (specifically Valery) was quick to respond to my email regarding the photobooth issue and took care of things. Through it all, I would still highly recommend the Vital Image team!
