A month and a half post-wedding, my guests are still raving about how special the violin/cello were during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Viva La Strings went above and beyond to ensure my order of music and desires were met. Having violin talents run in our family, it was necessary to have live music and I cannot believe how great Viva's communication/execution was. 11/10 and I hope to see you at future events! Viva la Strings did a wonderful job playing for our ceremony! The string quartet sounded so beautiful.

We used a soloist violinist for our wedding ceremony and he was amazing! My only regret is that I didn’t get to hear him play more! If you are looking for an easy going company to work with that is quick to respond and highly professional this is the place to go.

Highly recommend Viva if you're looking for some live music at your wedding! They have a huge library of music to choose from and were super easy to work with! Great communicators and great musicians.

I absolutely loved my experience with Viva La Strings. We hired a trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everything was perfect, they were on-time professional, and played amazing music. They also allowed us to pick one song for the trio to learn, and we chose "Thank You For Being A Friend" for our bridal party to walk down the aisle to. It was so fun to get to pick one special song, and I am grateful for them allowing us to customize our experience. Working with this team was just awesome. Highly recommend!

Working with Pendra and Viva la Strings was wonderful! The song catalog has so many choices and Pendra was very easy to work with in terms of timeline and creating our song list. Jacob played the cello at our wedding ceremony in February and was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive, reasonably priced and played beautifully! He created a custom setlist for us and even played a song that was not within their regular selection for us. I would absolutely recommend Viva La Strings to Nashville and Ohio couples!

Viva la Strings were great to work with. They have several options to work with any budget and having a violinist and cellist at our ceremony made the day all the more elegant. We loved the diversity of their setlists and being able to choose the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, from Bach to Star Wars. Would definitely recommend!

It was incredible to have Viva La Strings be a part of our wedding date! We got married at the Monastery Event Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. We had the string quartet play 30 minutes before our ceremony, throughout the ceremony, and during our cocktail hour. They have a wide selection of contemporary and classical songs. While they did offer the option of suggesting our own songs, we chose every song that we wanted playing and they played each beautifully. If there is one complaint I had regarding the music, it was simply that I wasn't able to sit down and enjoy them playing during the pre-ceremony or cocktail hour. Our guests told us that the music during those times definitely added to the ambiance. I will never forget seeing my wife walk down the aisle with the quartet playing Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love". It was truly an honor to have them at our wedding and we would highly recommend them!

I fell in love with Viva la Strings when my sister hired them for her wedding a couple years ago. They did an amazing job at her wedding and they were just as fantastic at mine. My husband and I loved that they had so many contemporary songs we could choose from in addition to the traditional wedding songs. They also learned how to play the theme from Jurassic park for our recessional (we had a dinosaur themed reception)! As long as the song you request they learn is fairly simple and the sheet music for it is easy to find, they will learn one song at no added cost. Overall, we were very happy we choose Viva la Strings!

Viva la Strings was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding in November. I had a specific song in mind that I wanted to walk down the aisle to and they went the extra mile to have the song arranged for us! The string quartet added an extra special touch to our wedding and many of our guests told us how much they loved the music for the ceremony. While I waited in the balcony to walk down the aisle I started to tear up the second I heard our arranged song start. Thank you so much for making our day so wonderful!!

I didn't think I wanted live music for my wedding, but my father was insistent on it. Luckily, my venue provided a list of preferred vendors, and Viva La Strings was on the list and they were my favorite option. I have to admit, I was wrong in thinking I didn't want/need live music. It gave my entire wedding such a special atmosphere. Viva La Strings was so perfect, it made walking down the aisle feel like a movie. They provided a HUGE list of song options, and even offered to score other songs (one for free, others for charge). I took them up on that, and they planned "A Million Dreams" from the Greatest Showman during our sand pouring ceremony. It was absolutely perfect! Their song list includes typical wedding music and a lot of contemporary and movie music. It was so much fun to piece together my wedding music how I wanted it. And they were happy to oblige. They also performed during cocktail hour and dinner. It kept the continuity of the wedding as we transitioned into cocktail hour and beyond. They were great sports about some pop up toasts that kept interrupting their numbers at dinner, and never once sounded jarring. They helped add a special something as far as memorability when it came to my wedding. I am so glad my dad insisted on live music, and that my venue recommended them! Pendra and her team brought class and joyous music to the day.

Well worth the cost! I hired a violin and cello to play my selected ceremony music. From planning the music to the execution - they were extremely professional. The musicians arrived on time and were one of the easiest parts of my day. I couldn't have asked for better ceremony music!

Viva la Strings Dayton (trio) did a fabulous job at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! We loved their selection of modern/current music—it gave the perfect atmosphere for our intimate farm wedding. Pendra was easy to work with and responsive leading up to the wedding and we could not have been happier with Viva la Strings! I will always remember walking down the aisle while they played Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”...it was perfect. Would highly recommend them!

These people were a godsend. They aren’t outrageously priced like most musicians and have a HUGE selection of songs to choose from. We went with a violin and cello duo and it was absolutely perfect for our outdoor wedding. They allowed for an additional song that wasn’t on their list so I could walk down the aisle to. They made their own arrangement of the song and it was everything I could’ve hoped for. The music made it so surreal to walk down the aisle. They played 30 minutes of music before the ceremony and I really wish I could have heard it all! Pendra was a great point of contact and made things so smooth and easy to set everything up. Pendra and her team did a beautiful job at our wedding an adapted to the rainy day by moving inside - their music was beautiful. There was some disorganization leading up to the day with them confusing my name with other clients, but the group played amazing music on the wedding day and really contributed to the atmosphere of the room! I had a violinist and guitarist and was so happy with this choice.

I would recommend Viva La Strings completely! I wanted two musicians (voilin and classical guitar) for our ceremony and our cocktail hour. I contacted probably 8 musicians/companies on here....Viva La Strings was the most flexible with my times/requests, the most responsive on emails, had one of the largest music lists available and was the most reasonably priced!! Then my fiancé wanted a custom song from the notebook to be played right before the bridal party walked down the aisle, this was addressed no problem! My husband always wanted a string trio at our wedding and Viva La Strings was wonderful. They were easy to get a hold of, low stress and sounded wonderful! They even learned Jurassic Park for my husband to walk to because its his favorite song. Wonderful people!

It was always a dream of mine to have a string quartet played during my wedding ceremony and they sure delivered! I was so happy with the music and got so many compliments on the string quartet alone that night. They were very responsive when emailing back and forth and gave great suggestions. I am so happy that I discovered Viva La Strings. I wanted a very specific and not all that popular Mozart piece for my processional (one that involved a harp and a flute) and they made my dream of having that happen come true! I was concerned with whether the timing would work out for the processional and it absolutely did, because they planned it that way. They also were able to arrange a pop song for strings that I surprised my husband with and it sounded beautiful. My wedding day was COLD and they still played outside because I really wanted them to (bless them for that!) I got a lot of compliments on how beautiful the music was, which made me very happy! Also, I want to give a HUGE thank you to Pendra Lee who is the founder and biz manager. She was such a delight to communicate with throughout the process-- truly a kind and lovely person -- and she was SO helpful with making sure everything happened the way I wanted it to. I highly recommend them!!!

These guys are very professional! They always responded promptly to my e-mails and were rehearsing our wedding music weeks in advance. They showed up to the rehearsal and wedding on time and the music was absolutely great! Wonderful people to work with and the price was fair. I would highly recommend Viva La Strings!

The musicians were very helpful in picking out music. One of the musicians tried to sing the songs so I knew the tune of each one. They also have a nice selection of traditional and newer songs. To be honest, I don't remember hearing them play at my wedding (everything goes by so fast), but their prices were descent and I didn't hear anyone complain about the music :)
