As the bride, I did not even meet with/interact with them at all on the wedding day, as they were completely self-sufficient. They had played at our venue before and were familiar with the setup and logistics. This made it very easy and stress-free for my family and I as we were taking pictures and preparing for the ceremony. We received many compliments on their performance- how great it sounded, their professionalism, and the song choices. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to others in the area but does not comprise quality. I am so glad we decided to book Viva la Strings, and would 100% recommend them to anyone for any occasion!

While they did offer the option of suggesting our own songs, we chose every song that we wanted playing and they played each beautifully. If there is one complaint I had regarding the music, it was simply that I wasn't able to sit down and enjoy them playing during the pre-ceremony or cocktail hour. Our guests told us that the music during those times definitely added to the ambiance. I will never forget seeing my wife walk down the aisle with the quartet playing Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love". It was truly an honor to have them at our wedding and we would highly recommend them!

husband and I loved that they had so many contemporary songs we could choose from in addition to the traditional wedding songs. They also learned how to play the theme from Jurassic park for our recessional (we had a dinosaur themed reception)! As long as the song you request they learn is fairly simple and the sheet music for it is easy to find, they will learn one song at no added cost. Overall, we were very happy we choose Viva la Strings!

d they were my favorite option. I have to admit, I was wrong in thinking I didn't want/need live music. It gave my entire wedding such a special atmosphere. Viva La Strings was so perfect, it made walking down the aisle feel like a movie. They provided a HUGE list of song options, and even offered to score other songs (one for free, others for charge). I took them up on that, and they planned "A Million Dreams" from the Greatest Showman during our sand pouring ceremony. It was absolutely perfect! Their song list includes typical wedding music and a lot of contemporary and movie music. It was so much fun to piece together my wedding music how I wanted it. And they were happy to oblige. They also performed during cocktail hour and dinner. It kept the continuity of the wedding as we transitioned into cocktail hour and beyond. They were great sports about some pop up toasts that kept interrupting their numbers at dinner, and never once sounded jarring. They helped add a special something as far as memorability when it came to my wedding. I am so glad my dad insisted on live music, and that my venue recommended them! Pendra and her team brought class and joyous music to the day.

bsolutely perfect for our outdoor wedding. They allowed for an additional song that wasn’t on their list so I could walk down the aisle to. They made their own arrangement of the song and it was everything I could’ve hoped for. The music made it so surreal to walk down the aisle. They played 30 minutes of music before the ceremony and I really wish I could have heard it all! Pendra was a great point of contact and made things so smooth and easy to set everything up.
