We're so grateful to have been able to work with Vivace. Sara was really easy to work with from our first introductory call all the way up to our wedding day. The Fiddle & Fray duo brought the Bridgerton vibes to our wedding at Hershey Gardens, and we really appreciated how Vivace worked with us to make sure our first dance was a special song choice at the right tempo! If I could give any advice to future couples or people looking for string musicians, go with Vivace for an easy, flexible and high-quality experience.

Vivace Live was excellent! Very professional and kind, easy to work with, quick responses, and helpful and accommodating with special requests. The music sounded beautiful especially over the background tracks that were added free of charge. They were a wonderful addition to our day!!

We had Vivace come and play at our wedding reception (dinner and dancing) and they were absolutely incredible! At our wedding this past weekend, Vivace created a memory I will never forget. Our nephew's favorite song is the Hot Dog song from Mickey Mouse Club House, and after hearing my Sister in Law hum the tune, Vivace gave a perfect rendition of it so our nephew could have a dance party! This quartet could not have fit our wedding any better. They were professional, talented, and read the room perfectly from volume to actual music played. They expertly played requests of songs and created a beautiful and vibrant atmosphere all while adeptly balancing the fine line of not blending too much in the background to not be heard, and not playing too loud to drown out conversation.

We discovered Vivace Live at the recommendation of our venue, The Cork Factory Hotel. The string quartet was perfect for our classical / traditional ceremony, then we added the percussionist for contemporary music during cocktail hour. Our guests loved it and it was simply beautiful . We hired Vivace Live to play during our ceremony at Wyndridge Farm. They were incredible. We received so many compliments from our guests. The weather forced out ceremony to be inside, which is really disappointing at Wyndridge, but Vivace Live helped make the ambience beautiful and romantic. I love how I was able to pick each song I wanted from their long list of choices. They have so many options, that I didn't find myself wanting songs they didn't already have on their list. We payed them to learn Taylor Swift Invisible string and they nailed it!

All our requests were met without question- we requested special Groomsmen music during our ceremony and extended our contracted playing time. For the cocktail hour, we sent in the genre of music that we enjoy the most, and the musicians created the most perfect playlist to play- not having to create the any type of full playlist lifted a huge weight from my shoulders (as the bride)! The musicians were also dressed professionally, and their equipment was extremely well-kept. To my surprise, Julianna was a musician that day and greeted me with big smiles and kind words. The entire team expressed their gratitude for spending our special day with us and that alone spoke bounds to my husband and I. We felt so lucky to be able to work with Vivace Live for our intimate garden wedding. Not only were they amazing through the planning process, they also worked with us on two custom arrangements (Crazy Love by Van Morrison and Forever Young by Bob Dylan) to make the day feel so personal. Everyone needs to have Vivace at their wedding! They played our ceremony music as well as our cocktail hour music. No one expected we would have live music and everyone was blown away by their talent! They even learned the Friends Theme Song to play for me as I walked down that aisle!!! We had our wedding at Wyndridge Farm with an outdoor ceremony so we knew we wanted ceremony music that would fill the space. When we discovered Vivace we were very impressed with their repertoire - they have a very vast range of musical styles. Sara Irvine was so great to talk with and listened to an entire playlist of songs I sent to her to potentially use for the wedding. It was obvious that she takes the job very seriously and genuinely wants to make everything perfect for your special day. One of the main reasons we chose them is because they were willing to arrange/learn a few new pieces for us and they added a guitarist and did an amazing job with the song. She also let us know when they were going to be playing and even tried out the new piece when we went to see them at Tellus360! The guests really enjoyed hearing them play and we are so thankful that we chose them! They are extremely talented.

I had the opportunity of hearing Vivace Live at my friends wedding. I knew immediately after hearing them, that I wanted to book them for our wedding. Having a string quartet play during our Catholic Mass ceremony was always my dream for our wedding. Vivace Live made that dream come to life with their impeccable professionalism through the entire wedding planning process. I booked Vivace Live about a year in advance for our June 1st wedding and i am so happy that we did. Sara was amazing with getting back to me by phone and email and answered all questions I had no matter how crazy they sounded. She was very informative about how the ceremony would go especially since we were having them play in a Catholic Church which has guidelines to what can and cannot be played. They also were communicative between the music director of the church which made the ceremony music go even more smoothly. We also used them for our cocktail hour and added the percussionist and, boy, was it the best decision. The cocktail hour vibe was fun and enjoyable and my now husband and I were there for the whole thing ( we took this time to greet and thank our guests, we also wanted to enjoy the music and food at our own wedding). We had a great experience working with Sara to plan our ceremony and cocktail hour music selections. We first listened to many of Vivace's songs online and were very impressed from the start. We met Sara (and other musicians from the group) in person at a wedding expo and continued to be impressed hearing them perform live. We selected a string duo for our event (violin and cello) and Sara provided us with their repertoire list for this type of duo. My mom and I created a list of our song preferences for both the ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by a conference call with Sara where we reviewed the song selections and discussed the best way to order our songs. We had a combination outdoor and indoor event, and Sara was extremely flexible with where they set up their instruments for both parts of our wedding. As the bride, I only got to hear my processional song and the recessional song. They were beautiful! I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to hear all of the ceremony prelude music and all of the songs during cocktail hour :-) Vivace Live is beyond talented; they can perform from most genres of music, as you will see from the repertoire lists. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Vivace Strings was WONDERFUL for my wedding ceremony! Sara was so helpful in helping me plan the perfect selection of songs and the best instruments for my setting (we went with an electric violin and he was incredible!). She even sent me a video of the violinist playing the song I was thinking of for my bridal march. I didn't really know what I wanted except that I wanted it to feel modern but bridal and Sara came up with the perfect selection of music for leading up to the ceremony, for the processional and recessional. Sara was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. She helped us to choose music that blended both contemporary and classical songs. The final list flowed seamlessly between the genres with a variety of artists and composers being represented. There was something for everyone to enjoy. We had a violin and cello duet which added a delicate yet powerful emotional element to the time before the ceremony, during the procession and recession, and finally the cocktail hour. The musicians arrived on time, dressed professionally, and behaved with the utmost decorum. They are fabulous, and, in my opinion, a must have integral part for any ceremony.

Vivace lent their incredible talents to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour over Labor Day Weekend 2018, and I could not have imagined a more beautiful musical accompaniment for our day! We went with pretty classical selections for our ceremony, but Vivace's repertoire is huge and we could have gone in many directions. Would have given a 5 but they didn't pay attention to the cues from the coordinator for the procession, so it was a little off, but still sounded beautiful. They did a great job during cocktail hour as well. They transferred all their equipment very efficiently from the ceremony site to cocktail hour so there wasn't much of a lull.

Vivace Live added energy and elegance to my daughter and son-in-law's September wedding reception. Sara was so attentive in learning how to best meet the needs of the bride and groom. Sara and her team of musicians with Vivace Live were truly amazing - they catered the music to exactly what my husband and I wanted, and helped create the most magical, perfect wedding ceremony. They also played at our cocktail hour with an added drummer, which was a really unique touch. Vivace Live provided beautiful quartet music for our wedding. I've always dreamed of having a quartet for my ceremony, and Vivace certainly made my dreams come true. Vivace was the perfect addition to my daughters wedding! They were professional throughout the planning process as well as the ceremony, but were always willing to work with us as if we were the only wedding they were playing. The one detail that set Vivace apart from any other ensemble was their extensive playlist - especially the non-classical/pop options. My daughter's entire ceremony included selections from this category and they were absolutely beautiful. Most girls grow up dreaming about their fairy tale wedding. We all watch movies that depict scenes of "magic" that many believe don't happen in real life. There was nothing I wanted more than to give my wife her fairy tale, movie-magic, larger than life wedding. Vivace strings was the the final piece to that puzzle. My wife is a long-time fan of the Disney movie Beauty and Beast. Leading up to our wedding I kept coming back to the idea of seeing her walk down the aisle to the title soundtrack of that movie. I reached out to Vivace and worked with them to make that happen. I worked closely with Vivace to plan for the surprise. The day of our wedding I saw my bride-to-be in the distance standing next to her father. Our ceremony was in a beautiful pavilion surrounded by trees. I remember hearing the birds chirping and a perfect breeze blowing by. As Vivace began playing the first notes of the song I saw my bride gasp and begin to tear up. I knew what this meant to her. Seeing her walk down the aisle with tears of joy and feeling like a princess meant everything to me. This was her moment and it was perfect. That was five months ago and she still talks about how it was the most incredible moment of her life. I could not be more pleased with how Vivace came through. We were first introduced to Vivace Strings at an open house in Gordanville Pa when they were performing at The Stolfus Homestead. We all agreed that they were just what would add the final touch to our son and his fiancés Aug wedding. The whole process of hiring them was extremely smooth. Sara was great to deal with and the music at the wedding was very soothing for everyone. It was just what we expected. One thing that possibly could have made things a little easier is if they accepted credit cards for payment. But Sara assured me that she was working on getting this set up.
