up confirmation email before my appointment asking me to confirm my appointment (which I did) and 2 confirmation text messages. I even called the salon to ask if they could give me a blow out before my makeup appointment. The receptionist put me on hold while she asked her manager and then let me know that her manager responded that they only did makeup appointments on Tuesday so they could not accommodate a blow out but my appointment was still scheduled as planned for makeup with Nikki. Great. So I show up to my appointment and lo and behold the salon is closed. After frantically calling the salon and emailing I finally give up and book another makeup artist by some miracle last minute (De Cara Makeup by Ashley at Salon Posh, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!). I then get an email response that they're so sorry for the inconvenience and they can offer me a "discount" on their services for next time. What the owner should have done is had the decency to call me to apologize instead of offering me a lousy discount. You have my number right? I had to enter it several times along with my credit card to reserve an appointment. But you can't be bothered to call? Cool. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism and now know not to deal with this mediocre salon. If you're looking for a makeup artist, find a salon that actually respects their appointments and cares about their clients. There are hundreds of other great salons in Westchester that actually honor their appointments. This wasn't for some random event this was for my engagement photo shoot - as a result I just barely made my shoot on time and was super stressed out about having to find a new makeup artist literally at the last minute. Their online booking system clearly doesn't work, they don't check their confirmed appointments, and they blamed their receptionist instead of just taking responsibility for the multiple check points that don't work at this salon. Incredibly disappointed and wished I had never bothered to book here!
