For our engagement session my fiancé and I decided we wanted to include my 9 year old son in some of our photos. Valerie very enthusiastic about our idea and even captured my sons vision for some of our pictures of me pushing him on a swing! Our pictures from our engagement/family session have exceeded every expectation I had. She is so creative and truly passionate about her work! to. She is so personable and extremely flexible when discussing your personal vision. My husband and I are two large personalities that are surprisingly enough camera shy, so the idea of doing Engagement Photos made us both a bit anxious...but once the first few shots were out of the way, the giggles came rolling in. Valerie is professional, but also knows how to let looks and have fun when shooting. Valerie made note of those moments and shots important to us and captured them beautifully. On our wedding, she blended in so well and captured great moments without making others feel uncomfortable. I could not recommend a better photographer to entrust with your precious moments!!!!!!

Not only did she capture the most intimate and incredible candid moments of our ceremony and reception, but also managed to easily coordinate my very large family and transition smoothly between family group photos after the ceremony. My sister also used Valerie for her wedding ceremony a few months before ours and it feels as though you are reliving the entire night when looking at these pictures. The artistry, quality and timeliness of finished photos is unrivaled. I would HIGHLY recommend VMA photography to anyone! VMA's work is second to none!
