Our day at Tops’l Farm was full of little moments that mattered to us, and they caught all of them. The quiet first look with my dad, the ceremony under the apple tree, the dog in a tux, the laughter during the shoe game, nothing felt forced, and nothing was missed.
They blended in when they needed to, stepped up when it counted, and delivered photos and video that feel true to us. Looking back, it doesn’t feel like a wedding production, it feels like our day, the way we remember it.

The photos are gorgeous. They feel honest and full of life. And the video… we’ve already watched it more times than we can count. It brings us right back to that day every single time. It doesn’t feel posed or overdone. It just feels like us.

as perfectly edited even with some issues we had on the day of with our sound. The pictures also beautiful - they are open to any suggestions and requested photos on the day of. Also very nice and accommodating! Also - we had asked that one of our party member’s dress be slightly adjusted to match more of the colors we were going for - and they did that perfectly! On our wedding day, I was worried I’d be embarrassed about being in front of the camera, but Matt was able to seamlessly blend into the background and make everything feel comfortable. A few guests and family members also stated they were impressed with his professionalism—as were we.

It poured the entire day, but Paul wasn’t deterred and still took some great outdoor pictures. He took fantastic pictures, some sweet, and some fun. h right from the first email correspondence, all the way through to receiving our final edited video package, which we received in a very timely fashion. He was a pleasure to be around, feeling like part of the group, or fading into the background as needed. Toward the end of the night, Matt took us out for video formals, and during this time we felt relaxed and happy, and never felt tired with the process or like we were being asked to do anything silly. We ended up with literally the most perfectly captured wedding day video, and all of our friends and family were so impressed with the entire process! We couldn't be happier .... thank you Matt at VMG events!

If they were flustered or stressed at any point in time, they never showed it, even when we got way behind schedule! BUYER BEWARE! I am incredibly dissapointed in Matt's professionalism. His delays in emails were appalling. I am not kidding when I say that he took 1 month to respond to email, wit...
h several reminder emails and texts. Once he did finally respond, I quickly responded and it has now been over two weeks and we are still awaiting a response. This does not include the many other times that he has has severe delays in responding back to us, often for weeks at a time with no word.
In many instances with his emails, he contradicted himself in his email. There is no way to tell which emails were actually the truth. With so much contradicting information, we found him to be untrustworthy and unreliable. I do not recommend working with Matt if you are looking for a professional who will respond to any of your emails or messages in a timely manner or give you honest information.

Anyone who we communicated with throughout the year and even after the wedding was so kind and patient. ail May 29th and did not recieve an email from him until June 3rd. When we responded on June 5th it wasn't until July 4th we recieved another response and that was with an additional email and 2 text messages. Unfortuanly because of COVID we had to cancel our wedding. We paid Matt in full and he refused to work with us to give ANY of the money back. Matt truly lacks empathy and did not want to work with us when all our other vendors did. The even more unfortunate part is that we have been friends with this vendor for years. If this is how he treats his friends I can't even imagine how he treats his other clients. I do not recommend working with him.

In regards to responsiveness and providing this client with communication. Our company always holds communication and responsiveness to a high standard and pride ourselves on being there for our clients whenever they have a question or request. I am saddened to hear that this client feels we did not meet this standard we value .We had provided this client with a response each time they had contacted us, we provided them with the company policy and the steps we normally take with a cancellation and provided answers to their questions.
Our company also has a no refund policy “the booking fee and any other payments made are not refundable in the event of a cancellation”. This policy is stated on every contract a client who books with us signs, we make this clear to every client for this reason.
Additional Information:
This client booked with us at the beginning of 2020 before COVID hit the US. They had an original wedding date of March 29th, 2020. Due to the stay at home order, they needed to move their wedding date. We accommodated their request of a new wedding date of August 4th, 2020, free of any rescheduling fees due to COVID. We during that time had to deny a pending client for this same date to accommodate their change of date request as to make sure we were there to capture their special day as per our contract. As of that point we had everything secured and ready to go for August. We then received notice at the end of May of the clients deciding to cancel their traditional wedding plans. We provided a response confirming their wish not to move forward and stated our company policy of a no refund clause, but as we wanted to make sure their payment was not lost, we offered a credit of video and/or photography services that can be used at any time for any event in the future. At this point we left the communication there, and looked forward to working with them in the future.

ded to sort of at the last minute - we're so glad we did. Matt outlasted the photographer and got some of our favorite closing shots of the night - which he orchestrated by taking us outside and directing us (like I said, he knows how to get the shot!) His drone shots were my favorite - I would definitely recommend the drone package, it's worth it! Not only was he great on the day, but Matt was very communicative and accommodating during the editing process and he got footage back to us really quickly. We can't recommend Matt enough!

e wedding day. One thing that I LOVED was the private “video formals” at dusk that he pulled us out to do. Honestly, we thought he was a bit crazy for wanting to shoot formal shots at dusk with limited light, but his assistant held a light, and the footage turned out AMAZING! We have received so many compliments on our videos, and we are recommending Matt at VMG as the videographer to hire at all our friends weddings!

Each step, there was clear communication and they were extremely professional. It is crazy how perfect our wedding day was, and it makes it even better every time we are able to watch our videos. VMG was able to work well with the photographer that I had hired, just like they had worked together hundreds of times before. Hiring a videographer made it possible for us to relive a crazy day that just seemed like a blur, and we were able to watch it over and over, making it possible to find new parts of the day we never realized even happened.

ntive to each detail, and helpful in offering advice to help make my special day perfect (I hadn’t even hired him yet!) this is when I decided that the search for a videographer was over, I was treated with respect and talked to like a friend, not just a client. Matt went through a list of details with both myself and my husband, and what we were looking for (both individually and together) in the video, and he followed through on each distinct detail the day of our wedding (some of which I had forgotten that we talked about). On the day of our wedding, Matt was super flexible about schedules and locations (as we were running a bit behind, just as life happens). I felt like I didn’t need to give any direction whatsoever, as he was posing us and setting up all shots before I could even think of them. This ensured that our life was virtually stress-free which was incredibly wonderful! I highly recommend VMG weddings, for the price and the superior quality videos that we received, they are who I would go to with any videography needs in the future.

They arrived to my bridal prep location about 45 minutes prior to their start time, checked in with me (which I thought was incredibly thoughtful), and went on to set up their gear and capture establishing shots of our ceremony location and reception hall (which was mostly set up already). I am so glad I listened to my (now) husband, and allowed him to hire a videographer. The thought of having a video camera capturing us all day, made me nervous and the thought of having someone there taping me made me uneasy (what ifs set in). The day of my wedding I didn’t even notice Matt or Destiny, it's just like they blended into the background, but they seemed to capture our special day entirely. We HIGHLY recommend VMG weddings for your wedding videography needs - they were professional and courteous and they provided us with a wedding video that captured every emotion on our special day.

I was a bit nervous about hiring video because no one likes to feel like they are being videoed, but it was absolutely the best decision, we didn’t even know we were being captured most of the time and we were able to relive our wedding day through the eyes of an outsider - able to see our family and friends’ reactions along with our own reactions to events that played out. There is nothing that we would have changed, and are happy to recommend VMG to any of our friends.
