Kim Ackerman, photographer specializing in creative wedding photography since 2002. Kim has a background in hair and makeup as well, which is a huge bonus for taking the veil in and out and small touch ups on your wedding day. She has also taught at several national conferences and uses her organization and public speaking skills to direct her subjects on the wedding day. This makes family and group photos run very efficiently. Upon booking, you will receive coaching on the perfect wedding timeline, to ensure guests are not waiting, but you still get all the photos you are wanting. Prior to the wedding, you will receive a spreadsheet of ALL the photos for the day and who needs to be present, so you can let the wedding party and family know ahead of time. Photos are delivered in 2-3 weeks! You will not be waiting MONTHS to see them, like in many other photographers do.

I was very hesitant to consider Boudoir photography, but decided it would be a great wedding gift for my fiance. Kim put me at ease immediately. We talked awhile about my vision ...
and ideas for the photos. She did my hair and make-up and then took the photos at her studio. She is very detail-oriented and takes advantage of natural light. I did not feel the least bit awkward in my lingerie because she constantly cued me into various poses. She got the book completed early due to my short timeline. The photo book was amazing and my fiance LOVED it. Thank you, Kim!
As a first time experience, I couldn't have asked for a better one! Kim is exceptional at calming nerves, making you feel comfortable, and at showcasing your own beauty. I walked i...
n to her studio nervous and a bit guarded, and I walked out with a newfound sense of confidence!
I didn’t know how comfortable I would feel taking my clothes off and doing a bunch of awkward poses, but Kim made the whole process fun and enjoyable. She really knows how to position a woman’s body in order to emphasize all of the parts that you love and cover up anything that you are a little less enthusiastic about. She takes you to places that you never knew existed and creates some of the sexiest images that I never knew I had in me!
I expected to like a few of the photos, but I loved them all!! The hardest part of the whole process was narrowing down which 30-40 photos I wanted to put in my album.
Kim arranged my photos in a professionally created book in a way that flowed magically. I would be lying if I said I didn't smile from ear to ear when I flipped through the book for the first time. When I finally gave the book to my husband on our wedding day, he was blown away. I still catch him from time to time flipping through the pictures.
If you are thinking about doing a boudoir session with Kim, DO IT!! The whole experience will make you feel beautiful, empowered, and confident in your own skin.

Kim did several photo shoots for us. One for me as a gift to my husband and another of me and my husband. I would highly recommend her !!! She made both of us feel at ease. Kim is ...
really great to work with. We will definitely be hiring her again!!! You won't be disappointed!!
I've known Kim way before she got into photography. I've watched her grow into a very talented photographer. My most recent shoot was a "sexy" shoot for a gift to my husband. We ha...
d a lot of laughs and the pictures turned out great. Trust me, at 54, that takes talent, and Kim has it.
I found Kim at Vogue Portrait Studio when searching online to boudoir photos. I am a 48 year old woman and wanted photos for myself and of course my husband. I interviewed several ...
companies and found Kim to be the most professional experienced photographer. After the session she showed me the raw pictures without photoshopping me. She knew the best positions to put me in to make me look my best! The photoshopping kept me looking like myself. Just removed wrinkles and dimples. Kim listened to what I wanted! It was a great experience.
I've shot with Kim multiple times and it's always a blast! Her photos are sophisticated and sexy and the man in my life adores them...
