Kim Ackerman, photographer specializing in creative wedding photography since 2002. Kim has a background in hair and makeup as well, which is a huge bonus for taking the veil in and out and small touch ups on your wedding day. She has also taught at several national conferences and uses her organization and public speaking skills to direct her subjects on the wedding day. This makes family and group photos run very efficiently. Upon booking, you will receive coaching on the perfect wedding timeline, to ensure guests are not waiting, but you still get all the photos you are wanting. Prior to the wedding, you will receive a spreadsheet of ALL the photos for the day and who needs to be present, so you can let the wedding party and family know ahead of time. Photos are delivered in 2-3 weeks! You will not be waiting MONTHS to see them, like in many other photographers do.

I did not feel the least bit awkward in my lingerie because she constantly cued me into various poses. She got the book completed early due to my short timeline. I didn’t know how comfortable I would feel taking my clothes off and doing a bunch of awkward poses, but Kim made the whole process fun and enjoyable. She really knows how to position a woman’s body in order to emphasize all of the parts that you love and cover up anything that you are a little less enthusiastic about. She takes you to places that you never knew existed and creates some of the sexiest images that I never knew I had in me!
I expected to like a few of the photos, but I loved them all!! The hardest part of the whole process was narrowing down which 30-40 photos I wanted to put in my album.
Kim arranged my photos in a professionally created book in a way that flowed magically. I would be lying if I said I didn't smile from ear to ear when I flipped through the book for the first time. When I finally gave the book to my husband on our wedding day, he was blown away. I still catch him from time to time flipping through the pictures.
