We really wanted a videographer who not only was talented at their craft, but also someone who we would feel comfortable and relaxed with. Alex and his team made everything so uncomplicated, easy, and fun for us! We were worried with hiring a videographer, we would feel their presence on our wedding day with their equipment, but that was not the case AT ALL with Voila. They were incredibly professional and discrete, you will barely know they are even there. Additionally, Alex and Jocelyn were so easy to work! They continuously got back to us quickly via email, text or phone call for any question we had and was incredibly organized and detailed leading up to and on our wedding day. When it came to filming our wedding day, everything was seamless and smooth. Alex's work is exceptional and breathtaking, down to the very last detail. They told our story beautifully. a Cinematic's (hereinafter "VC") presentation & product have absolutely STUNNED my husband I, leaving us simply speechless. (If reviews don't do it for you, head over to VC's Vimeo page & watch our highlight, "Kiley and Jordy", to see why we will forever rave about VC.) Starting from the beginning, I was certain that a videographer was of top priority in my budget, & I wanted the best in business; I must have watched over a hundred wedding videos to get a feel for a luxury product versus a sub-par thrown together mess. We contacted VC on the suggestion of our wedding planner. My husband & I met with Alex & Jocelyn Karas, owners of VC. When it comes to his business side, my husband is harder to please than I, and he was very involved in filmmaking/broadcasting as a high school/college student, so his standards were very high. We were immediately at peace with Alex & Jocelyn. We discussed their impressive credentials & our visions for the videos, but the conversation quickly evolved into the beginning of a friendship. Jocelyn being the planner, and Alex the artist, seemed to have an ideal partnership, and their genuine personalities assured us they were the perfect team & match for our wedding. We were fortunate enough to opt for the "Signature Collection", the BEST decision. Both Alex's did a breathtaking job of filming our big rehearsal dinner &wedding. VC made our jobs so easy that we hardly noticed them (and honestly don't remember being filmed at all!), except to notice what a great job they were doing. Anyone married knows it's one of the busiest times in your lives, & VC understands that better than anyone; they gently & quickly guided us through every aspect. We felt natural and in the moment on our happiest, proudest day! We eagerly anticipated the arrival of our DVDs so we could re-live the moments. My husband even said, “I’m looking forward to that DVD more than anything, even the new Star Wars movie.” Side note: if you look up the word “anticipating” in the dictionary, you'll see his picture with the sub-text “man-child still anticipating career as Jedi”; but I digress. Our DVDs came in the mail shortly after our honeymoon, & the presentation was extraordinary. The DVD came in a cushioned fabric-wrapped box, with a banner-like bow around it, & VC's signature wax seal. We had a date night in, dimmed the lights, & sat down for the most incredible experience. Simply put, VC captured pure nostalgia. The natural lighting was captured from the best angles, the cinematography was pieced together with experience & creativity, the editing was flawless, & the audio complimented each scene of the film. That very weekend, we had a premier showing for our families. We started the show & everyone got settled in to be amazed. What happened next is significant. I saw my father-in-law (of the “strong and silent type”) wiping his teary eyes. I can only imagine the pride he felt for his family. Everyone in tears, they all clapped afterwards & the overwhelming praises have not subsided. To Alex, Jocelyn, Alex, Haley & the Voila crew: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for moving us with your beautiful film. It is an honor to refer others to you. You absolutely struck the right cords with us & we are floored in every aspect. This is your calling.

Our wedding video is of the highest quality and captured every special moment of our wedding in a format that was more sentimental and touching that we could have ever imagined. Our film arrived on Valentines Day, something they had planned for us. It came in a very nice box along with such kind words in their trademark Voila card. The first viewing evoked such emotion, it was like reliving the the day all over again. As we touched on earlier, it was that natural talent that Alex has that made our film such a hit. He took a lot of audio clips from us that day and edited it with the super high quality video to create, "a love story that will make the storybooks jealous". Alex and Jocelyn, we cannot thank you enough for being a part of our wedding day but also for giving us something that will keep the day fresh in our minds for a lifetime to come. They stayed on the periphery so we hardly even noticed they were there, so we wound up looking very natural and relaxed. I was a little disappointed when I received the video because there seemed to be a focus a little too much on making a great movie as opposed to making a sentimental video that a bride would want. Once I made a few corrections, the video was much better. We appreciated their flexibility and professionalism.

Voila not only creates impressive memories of the day, but they do it without INTERFERING in the events of the day. While I knew they were in the room, there were no set up shots so the candid moments were so great to see back on film. Plus- I had them video my groom playing golf on our wedding day and while he was reluctant to have them there at first, he now has such cool shots of him and his friends on the course- including him dropping a birdie putt...PRICELESS!! Through their interview process, they really get an idea of their couple and create a wedding story on film that is unique for them. I watched pretty much every video that they posted online and they truly are all so Unique. And I cried at a lot of them! Jocelyn, Alex and their team are NICE people who are incredibly talented at telling love stories. THIS WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT I MADE AT MY WEDDING!!!! We were thoroughly impressed with Voila’s style and creativity, and after bombarding Jocelyn with 50 questions, we knew these guys were the one and signed them up. Jocelyn was great to work with – she handled all our questions before and after the wedding. She was very personable and responsive to our issues. Pricing was competitive with other vendors but decided to opt for the Associate package (after much debate about possibly upgrading to Alex). The shooters during our wedding day were awesome – we forgot their names but they were super nice and very easy going….worked well with our photographers, were not in the way and let us be ourselves the whole day/night. Once we got the video, we couldn’t stop watching it! The highlights and edits were fantastic, capturing beautiful moments and bring us back to that special day every time we watch it. Plus, the music selections they paired with the various chapters were perfect! Big thanks to Voila for putting together such a fantastic video of our wedding and reception, we can now relive our amazing moments anytime and share it with our family and friends.
