Volo’s acclaimed outdoor cabana patio (#1 Hidden City Patio – Chicago Magazine) and one-hundred-year-old patina’d barn make an ideal setting for a wedding ceremony and reception, and can create a truly unique atmosphere.The space is already tastefully decorated with gardens, a beautiful fountain, custom cabanas, as well as wrought iron and distressed metal and wood accents, creating many intimate areas for guests to visit and enjoy with family and friends. You can also feel free to create your own unique decoration plan incorporating fresh flowers, candles, photos and more, and design the evening’s layout with space for an optional DJ, live acoustic music, cake table, gift table, guest book… even a photo booth. Rehearsal dinners, wedding showers, and bachelorette events also available.

nts. We had the entire restaurant for our daytime reception of 60ish people, and we got many, many compliments from guests on the food, drinks, and venue itself. And for our entire reception, it took me less than 2 hours of work from the time I contacted Volo to the day of the reception. Which is amazing! I found the pricing very reasonable as well, especially compared to other options in the city. I wouldn't recommend Volo if your goal is to have a lot of dancing since the music doesn't get super loud, but it was the perfect location for our cocktail party-style reception. We have no complaints, and we're thrilled we chose Volo!

and pretty back patio and the night was perfect. The owner, John, helped my SIL plan the event and said he was quick to respond, gave great recommendations and made the entire process painless! He was at our event and was so personable with all of our guests. I highly recommend Volo for rehearsals, showers, etc.
