I don't even know where to start. Shawn and Julie are awesome!! They are so much fun to be around, and they take such amazing photos! I contacted them about three months before my wedding because the photographer I was going to have do the pictures fell through. They were quick to get back to me to let me know that they were free to be there and were genuinely excited to meet with us. The engagement photos they took were beautiful. Shawn is very specific about what look he's going for and Julie is so good at fighting to make sure all the little details are perfect. (It was windy during our engagement photos and my hair was constantly trying to hug my face). They really are the perfect kind of professionals. They take their photography seriously, but are more than willing to joke around between shots. Shawn even managed to get a couple photos of my little brother smiling with his teeth showing, something that my mom hasn't been able to do much in the last eighteen years. They had a meeting with me and my fiancee about three weeks before the wedding to give us tips that they had picked up on during the weddings that they had been a part of. And when I brought them a payment about a week before they informed me that they had driven past where we were holding the ceremony and they loved it and were so excited to take pictures there because it really was beautiful. The day of the wedding they were there early and were a calming force while keeping everything light and keeping us smiling. Everyone that I talked to loved them and now they're gushing over the pictures themselves. I wish that there were more than five stars to give, but alas there's not. So I'll close with this. Worth. Every. Penny. We love Shawn and Julie!!

AMAZING is one word to describe this photography duo! They will be my go-to photographers in the future. The first thing that they do is get to know the personalities of the bride and groom so that they know exactly what kind of pictures are going to fit the couple. They ask what is wanted by the couple, but are also very in tune with suggestions and what will look good. They are a husband and wife couple which makes a huge difference. They know how each other operate and make a great team. This allows them to each capture special moments before the bride and groom see each other that wouldn't otherwise be captured. They are very accommodating, very educated, and make phenomenal pictures. I found that the prices are slightly higher than other places, HOWEVER the service and quality is well worth paying the little extra and your pictures are what will last you a lifetime.

Shawn and Julie were amazing! Looking for a photographer (or team!) to truly figure out the kind of couple you are, and work to make your day everything you want? LOOK NO FURTHER! They were fun, excited, professional, and did I mention FUN? There was never a dull moment! And we never felt that our portrait photos were "too posed" or "too stiff". Everything flowed, and looking back on everything, we STILL would have gone with Von Ins for our photography!

As soon as we saw examples of pictures taken by Shawn and Julie of other weddings, we knew we wanted them to be our photographers. Their pictures aren't just pictures. They tell a story and Julie and Shawn put their heart and soul into their pictures. They are a joy to work with and stress melted away as we worked with them. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a photographer! They are willing to travel! :)
