Here at Vow and Forever, we specialize in creating distinctive and personalized ceremonies that authentically reflect the love and commitment of your union. Every couple is unique, and as such, every ceremony that we perform is equally unique. Our team has a combined 40 years of expertise in writing, coordinating, presenting, and public speaking, coupled with a desire to make your wedding truly memorable. We have witnessed many weddings across various faiths, and while we can certainly accommodate most requirements, our ceremonies are focused on the couple -- enough to be respectful of customs and traditions while not getting struck by lightning in the process. Our guiding principle is to make sure couples feel like their ceremony is one-of-a-kind, so we generally don't sell "packages" that you can order off a menu. We offer a flat rate that covers the process end to end -- from getting to know you to script writing, rehearsal, and, of course, the wedding itself.
If you decide you want more or less, we will be happy to work with you to make it happen. Whether it's an intimate gathering of friends and family or a lavish affair, we are excited, inspired, and dedicated to making your day one of a kind (in a good way).
Our process:
* We start with a free consultation to get to know each other and discuss the general framework for the event. If we are a good match for you, you can reserve the officiant with a nominal security deposit (depending on the type of ceremony you want, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the wedding.
* Leading up to the ceremony, our creative team will schedule additional meetings to gather details for the script or to address any questions or issues that may arise. Of course, you are welcome to reach out at any time as well.
* If you would like us to coordinate with your wedding planner or any other vendor (e.g., photographers, videographers, sound technicians, etc.), please don't hesitate to ask.
* We are available for rehearsals to make sure you are comfortable with the ceremony process and to work out any final details.
* Our ceremonies run 10-20 minutes, and the officiant is available before or after the ceremony to formally register the wedding (i.e., sign the license), take pictures, give out autographs, or perform other celebratory events.

ant for our wedding. We had thought about people who actually knew us from before. However, two weeks before the wedding, the plan fell through.
In a few days, we researched the internet and gave Karl a call. He only had a week to put together a script that would speak to the depth and silliness in our relationship, our story, and how we each complement one another.
We had a Zoom call, filled out his “getting to know you questionnaire” and had a phone call after that. He was available to answer any questions we had and provided reassurance as needed.
The day of our wedding, Karl got there a little bit ahead of time. He was professional and kind. His charisma came though his script. He used analogies from games my husband and I met playing (think scrabble, monopoly) to references of our kids, how we met hiking and the challenges we had to overcome to be together. All of this managing to make it cute and not cheesy or corny.
He even accommodated same day like who was going to do a reading or bring over the rings.
To this day, our family and friends comment on how beautiful our ceremony was, how they could all feel the love between us and how it all tied together.
We wholeheartedly recommend hiring Karl for your special event.

dge, waiting for more. At times he was serious, made people cry or burst out in laughter. Especially when he informed the couple their response would be “Whoop” instead of “I Do”, to incorporate their Texas A&M school spirit into the ceremony….the crowd loved it!! Attendees asked what church our officiant was associated with because HE was awesome and they wanted to go to HIS church. 😊 I sadly had to inform them that he’s not a preacher, but extended family member that graciously agreed to officiate as a special gift to my daughter. He made my daughter’s day extra special!!

d unique as the two of you. Friendly and personable with a gentle if slightly quirky sense of humor, Karl puts you and those closest to you at the very center of your celebration. The most frequent question we hear after a wedding ceremony is, “Wow, where did you GET that guy??” Did I mention Karl is also an accomplished vocalist and keyboard artist? Name your “Our Song”, and he can probably make it happen better than the original. (Ever versatile, Karl also provided the music at my mom’s funeral with heartfelt renditions of her two favorite songs - “Hallelujah” and “You Raise Me Up”. No question she left us with a big, appreciative smile! The funeral director also offered Karl a very steady job…) And now back to happier times…if you are still a bit unsure about your own wedding plans, give Karl a call and see if he might be a great fit for the two of you and your Biggest. Day. Ever.
