Vow of the Wild

Vow of the Wild was by far the best decision we made for our elopement in Colorado. Lisa and Alex were extremely responsive and easy to work with throughout the whole process of planning our out-of-state wedding. They helped us with every aspect of planning which was extremely helpful. Our wedding video and photos are beyond what we ever even imagined they'd be. They captured our day perfectly.

When we got engaged, I knew from the jump I wanted a videographer for our wedding. I just always loved watching videos from weddings (ones I didn't even attend or know the people) - I think it really adds something special and captures the day/evening. My partner was skeptic from the beginning and was wondering if it would be "worth the money" or if it was a necessary expense - but I really had my heart set on it. It was a non-negotiable for me. After reviewing some videographers online, I stumbled upon Alex/Lisa with Vow of the Wild and instantly fell in love with their amazing story-telling and style. Their talent is just undeniable. Their videos had me in tears and I just knew they were the fit for us. When I reached out - they were highly professional and always returned our emails super quickly. When we met with them - we knew it was a done deal. They are the SWEETEST couple - they asked us about our love story and our personalities so they could capture that appropriately in the video. Not only that - they have such a warm presence and you instantly feel comfortable around them - which we knew would be key for day of the wedding (my partner was a little insecure about the idea of "cameras following her all day"). :) Day of the wedding, we didn't even know they were there - they were so non-intrusive - would gently check-in when they wanted a certain shot, ask us how we were doing, etc. - we just trusted them to do their thing (I mean, their work speaks for itself!). We got married on a Saturday and were leaving for our honeymoon the Monday after - they had our trailer live on Facebook THAT morning. The turn-around was so quick I could hardly believe it. The video was priceless and my wife and I were crying on the couch when we watched it. It was just simply perfect and was the best money we spent for our wedding, hands-down. If you are still wondering if you SHOULD do a videographer for your wedding - I PROMISE - you won't regret it and you should go with Alex/Lisa, hands-down. When our friends watched our trailer, all of them said they wish they would have done a videographer. If you're looking for a videographer, don't look any further - these are the people you should be working with! Thank you so much Alex/Lisa!!!!!

A videographer was one of the last things we added to our wedding because we were not quite sure if we wanted one... We are so glad that we did! Alex and Lisa had an amazing first impression as they were so easy to contact and we quickly set up a meeting which was quickly followed by us booking them for our big day. We booked our vendors off not only their work, but who they were as people and Alex and Lisa are an amazing example of this. They clearly have a passion for what they do and you can tell in the products they create. Leading up the the event they were very helpful in figuring out a daily timeline and offered to help us with anything we needed. On the day of, they were everywhere capturing the moments, and as someone who feels slightly uncomfortable in front of camera, they blended right in. We were never posed artificially, they captured the moments exactly how they happened. We could not have been happier with them. We received our trailer in the airport on the way to our honeymoon and it made the whole event feel real. The audio included our vows which they capture through small microphones easily placed under a wedding gown. They captured the day exactly how I had experienced it! We cannot wait to see the final documentary length film!

Vow of the Wild nailed our vision and we are so thrilled we chose to work with them. My husband and I both studied videography in college and shot professionally, so shopping around for the right videographers was especially challenging. We were overly picky and critical through the whole process, but when we found VOTW, we were totally sold! Their technical skills are exceptional and their creativity adds so much. We got our wedding trailer early and loved every second of it! We'd hire Vow of the Wild again in a heartbeat.

Lisa & Alex captured our engagement pictures in Iceland. They picked my Fiance and I up from our hotel and drove us to the South of Iceland where the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. They knew all the best spots and were extremely professional and kind. This was our first time getting our photos taken so we were not sure what to expect but Lisa & Alex were well prepared. We were def. grateful for that! Our photos turned out BEAUTIFUL. Words cannot even describe! We are so in love with our pictures! We are so grateful to have met them! If you want amazing quality and a dedicated and talented team-contact Lisa & Alex! You will not regret it!

Lisa and Alex were a dream come true! One of my "must haves" for our wedding was a videographer. This sweet couple not only created the video of my dreams but they were the sweetest most unique couple to work with! Such an amazing video and couple!

Such a great team to work with! It is obvious how much effort and thought they put into creating the films. It is so special being able to look back on our wedding day through our wedding film. Highly recommend!

Lisa and Alex were so easy to work with, made my husband and I feel at ease, and were super affordable. While our documentary style video won't be ready until January, our preview video was so beautiful and we have had many people compliment it. It makes me cry every time I watch it! Originally my husband was hesitant about hiring a videographer (too expensive, will we watch this?, I'm awkward and I don't want to see that on film, etc), but he is so excited to see our video and realizes that hiring Lisa and Alex was well worth it. I am so bummed that the wedding is over because now we won't get to work with them anymore. You couldn't ask for two better people to work with!

We didn't meet Lisa and Alex until our actual wedding day, because they are in Colorado, and we live in Florida. We had a destination wedding in Buena Vista, Colorado, and as you can imagine, destination weddings are difficult to plan. Luckily, we had the best videographers in the whole world who made this part of the process so easy for us. Lisa and Alex are the kindest and most sincere people you will ever meet. From the moment we met them during a Skype session we felt comfortable with them, and they made our special day so magical. We've only seen our trailer so far, but Lisa and Alex were awesome on our wedding day. It all went by so fast, but thanks to them, we will have these memories for the rest of our lives. They are so talented and it's so obvious that they love what they do. I'm so glad I found them, and I am so grateful for everything they did for us on our wedding day. And they have a drone... who doesn't love a drone. :)

You will not regret using Lisa and Alex! They are both creative geniuses and provided service that was above and beyond what we imagined. Not only are they professional and super talented, but they are just awesome people. We loved having them share in our special day and are so thankful they were there to capture so many moments for us! Our film is simply an amazing treasure. If you aren't sure about booking a videographer, do it! It was one of the best decisions we made!

Lisa and Alex are the best wedding videographers around, by far. They balance skill and professionalism with a warm and inviting demeanor that makes everyone around them comfortable. We were so lucky to have them shooting our wedding - I recommend them without hesitation.

Lisa and Alex are such a sweet couple to work with as our videographer. My husband was in charge of finding a videographer for the wedding, and he found them via The Knot. Their price range was about middle-of-the-road, but they had the best product we saw, by far in the Denver area. We met them for coffee in December 2015, told them a little about our style and what we envisioned for the video, and then communicated back and forth via email until the wedding. They worked closely with us on the timing and details, and were very helpful in suggesting how the day-of timeline would go for the video aspect. I’m always somewhat awkward in front of the camera, but I legitimately did not notice them during the day, because they were so subtle and professional, simply gliding around the venue with their equipment. They were very sweet and definitely accommodated our budget, so we were able to get the preview film (about 3 minutes) and the documentary-style film (15 minutes). Both were truly beautiful. The preview film made me tear up, and I truly appreciated how they sent that out within a couple of days of the wedding, so I could already reminisce on the beautiful day. We received the documentary-style film about three months after the wedding, and it was such a fantastic final product that truly incorporated every important part of the day, including the moments before the wedding with my mother, the heartfelt speeches from many of our friends, and the father-daughter and mother-son dances. We were truly impressed with their work and would recommend them to anyone!

Seriously the best decision you can make for your wedding. My husband was very skeptical on hiring a videographer and didn't think it was needed. Same goes for the rest of his family. After seeing what my sister's wedding video looked like, I knew I wanted to hire Lisa. Now after our wedding we are so happy with the video and with how we were treated. If you want a unique and truly beautiful, creative, and not tacky wedding video these are the people you want to hire! Alex and Lisa are a dream team!

Lisa and Alex make an unstoppable team when it comes to capturing all of the special moments of your day. They are so so talented and they have all of our guests STILL crying when we watch back on our videos! They are the most kind-hearted people as well and they love to get to know you and your fiance before the big day which makes the filming and even more personal and special. Their cameras are very high quality and they really make you feel super comfortable. You'll hardly notice they are there yet they will capture all of the special moments! Best Decision Ever Hiring Lisa & Alex!!!! We are forever grateful for the images captured by Lisa and Alex on the best day of our life! It was an absolute pleasure working with them leading up to the wedding. I was worried about having video cameras on the actual wedding day, but they have a way of making you feel so comfortable and we soon forgot they were there! We also couldn't believe that we got a sneak peak video within 24 hours of our wedding! It was so awesome to be able to share that with friends and family so quickly after the big event. Beyond being an awesome couple, Lisa and Alex are so kind and friendly that we barely knew we had videographers filming our every move! It was like spending our wedding day with a couple of friends. Even though we had only met them in person once before, we were so comfortable and fluid around this dynamic duo. We are so impressed with the flow and content of our video preview, highlight, and documentary film. Each video is unique in it's own way. We could not decide if we wanted to splurge for a videographer or not, but finally decided to and I am SO glad that we did. This is seriously the best money I spent on this wedding. Lisa and Alex were awesome and jumped right in with our crazy families. They were not in the way at the wedding (like I was nervous they would be). They had a preview film to us the day after the wedding and the full highlight film in the next 3 weeks. I could not be happier with our videos and experience!
