Your wedding vows are the reason for all the hoopla, excitement and preparation. They should be among the high points of your wedding day for they tell the world you are not two people, but now one. Performing a wedding requires presence, reverence and experience. You do not casually read words; you must stir up emotions among the couple and those in attendance. It becomes a joyous communal affair between those being united and the guests; all must be in accord and celebrate the miracle of love they are witness to.
The weddings I perform require a lot of writing and effort on my part but it is well worth it. Because every couple is unique, so is each of my wedding ceremonies. I include the guests with my sand ceremony because they were invited to be participants, not just to dine and dance. When family members compliment me after an event, I am humbled but feel my job was well done. The New York Times, who never mentions officiants, quoted me each time they covered a wedding I performed. But, even after thirty years as a photographer or officiant, knowing I have provided a precious memory for the rest someone’s life is a thrill I never get over. Let me do that for you.

Where do we begin? I knew from the 1st moment that I met Paula at a Bridal Expo that she was meant to marry Rob and I. Ironically enough, at that time we weren't even engaged yet, ...
but she knew to approach me and asked me when I was getting married. I had bumped into her again at another Bridal Expo show on a very cold, icy & wet winter day a year later after the engagement finally did take place and I said to myself, "Yep she's the one who is going to marry us".
Once I spoke to Rob about her, he insisted that he meet her as well. One night we met up at a diner and discussed how we met, why we are meant to be with another and why we should get married.
Rob fell in love with Paula and her personality such as I did and the rest is history.
