When looking through the Knot at vendors’ videography samples, I found that most were so serious- beautiful for sure, but when I think about what hopefully is one of the best days of my life, I want to remember the joy of the day and the people there. When I came across Steve’s work, it was impossible not to smile. I was getting emotional watching random strangers’ wedding videos because they were just so genuine!
Going forth, we met with Steve and immediately appreciated the time he took to know us and what our day would look like. When finding vendors, the time they take to initially present themselves is key to me. Steve took that time, and by the end of the call I was already ready to book!
At the end of our call, we also mentioned to Steve that we had a side project of a Save the Date video. Steve was so excited and supportive in making our vision come to life, and committed to helping us. There was easy communication leading up to filming, and truly Steve went out of his way to make it an awesome experience. We happened to choose the hottest day of the year to film, but Steve adjusted our timeline to make sure we didn’t die out in the heat, and also made us feel like we were in a professional film with the takes we took! Beyond that, you can tell he has all the cool gadgets to make it a quality film. My friend, upon seeing the final result, described the quality as “so crisp”. Steve got our vision back to us in a week, which to me is record time, and as a person who gets so excited about creative projects, I was so happy to get it back so quickly! Our family viewed it and loved it, and we really can’t wait to send it out with our save the dates this coming week! Steve is quick on feedback to make adjustments, works with you to make your vision come to life, but most importantly is a great person. He will make everything feel easy!
Overall, if you are looking to capture joy on your day, I couldn’t recommend Steve enough! When we got our video back, I might have watched it 30 times in a row, and it made my entire day. That could be you! We can’t wait to work with him on our wedding day!

eve’s work instantly stood out, there’s a storytelling quality and emotional depth that you recognize the moment you see it.
Steve captured everything in our wedding video. Not just the big emotional moments, but my husband being his ridiculous self, my cousins being witty as ever… it was all there, all the little in-between things that made the day uniquely us. We sat on the couch after watching it, completely in awe. It felt like reliving the day in a way I didn’t think was even possible, he even included so many moments I didn’t get to witness in real time.
One of my favorite touches was when he noticed my sister using a film camera and asked to incorporate those photos into the final video. It added such a sweet, nostalgic layer with behind-the-scenes moments and well wishes from our family.
Steve gave us something we will treasure forever. If you’re considering him, stop thinking and just book him. You will be so, so glad you did.

sure our expectations of how the day would flow were clear so that he was on time and captured all of the important memories that we wanted him to. On the day of, I was amazing by how professional he worked with the photographer, and how easily he worked around her so that he could capture his footage. He mic’d my husband and captured our private vowels, and even did drone footage that I specifically requested at our venue. When we got our wedding video back 3 months later, we were truly blown away. What makes Steve so special, and why we chose him, is his ability to incorporate the sentimental and fun parts of the day into one video that doesn’t feel SO SERIOUS. We specifically loved that he captured our love so sweetly but then transitioned the video into something upbeat and fun so that we could remember what an amazing day it really was. I even reached out months later to ask for additional footage and he was happy to supply it! He’s the best! If your having any doubts about booking, DON’T!! sisted, and I am so glad she did. Steve got in touch with us extremely quickly after we first reached out, and he made sure to understand the style of video we were going for. He stayed in great contact with us, asking questions along the way, and he showed up on the wedding day extremely prepared.
He showed up ready to go early in the day to capture everyone getting ready, and came with us early to the venue to capture the early moments, as we decided to do a first-look ahead of time. Throughout the entire day he worked seamlessly with our photographer, subtly capturing moments and giving us some easy instructions for some shots. He was also super friendly along the way which was greatly appreciated.
You never really know what to expect, as you're so wrapped up in the moment, but the video previews and subsequent full video were amazing. It's a perfectly captured 10 minutes that allows us to re-live the beautiful day every time we re-watch it.
We cannot thank Steve enough, and we would absolutely recommend him as a first choice for anyone looking to capture their special day.

He made sure to incorporate every single one of my ideas (even the ones I forgot about day of!). He was so kind and mindful of all of my personal insecurities and continued to work with me until I loved every last second of our video! He captured every moment beautifully and I haven’t watched our video once without tears rolling down my face. He has such a sweet, calming energy which is exactly what you need in the midst of all the chaos! His positive vibe and attitude were already enough for me, but then he absolutely blew us away with the quality of his work! Not to mention his speed! We got married just before Christmas, and even with the holidays, the turnaround time was incredible. My guests and vendors are still raving about what a great guy he is and how much fun they had with him. If I could do it all again, I would book Steve in a heartbeat! ly day starting 8am and they were there ready to go and still stayed late into the reception to make sure every moment was captured. We unfortunately had some bad weather come in and cause our ceremony to be delayed and moved indoors, but they were still able to roll with the changes and make it work. The final edits were amazing and we absolutely loved them. Would definitely reccomend vows to videos to anyone looking to have their day recorded and have a high quality video to remember everything by.

I will never run out of amazing things to say about Vows to Video! They were such a pleasure to work with, easy to reach and always responded professionally and in a timely manner....
On the day of my wedding, Mark and his associate were so kind and put me at ease, since I'm a bit stiff on camera, and were so friendly to our guests as well, blending in to the crowd and making sure everyone was comfortable being filmed. A few of my guests even mentioned to me after my wedding how nice our videographers were and about the nice conversations they had with them! We got a highlight video and a full length video and they're both stunning...I still get tears in my eyes when I watch! They captured everything about our day so beautifully and created a priceless memento from my wedding that I'll cherish forever. Hire them!! You will be so glad you did!!
