Vows Wedding and Event Planning

We recently got married on April 22nd, 2022. Me and my husband do not have a green thumb and did not know where to start with Flowers for our wedding. Therefore, Kathy was a godsend! She made it very easy for us to pick what we liked and she made sure our wedding was beautiful! The bouquets were perfect and we especially loved our sweetheart table! She was very professional and always responded quickly when we had questions or concerns. We even over estimated how many flowers we would need, so she made sure she used all the flowers by adding additional decorations to each table. We could not have been happier with Kathy or her company! We highly recommend her!

I was having a hard time finding a florist for our wedding date due to availability. On Easter I came across Vows, I didn’t expect a response until the following day but to my surprise Kathy responded right away and we met the next day! Kathy surpassed all expectations I had!! To say she did a fabulous job would be an understatement! We decided to add her as a day of coordinator and she did not disappoint!!! I met with Kathy a few times before the wedding and she checked up on me the week of the wedding. I showed her some inspiration photos and she went above and beyond what I imagined!! I would recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a florist, as well as a day of coordinator!

Kathy was amazing and wonderful to work with. She was easy to contact and very helpful when it came to deciding on my flowers and center pieces.... especially since I changed my mind multiple times. Our wedding reception was gorgeous and our bouquets we're to die for ! Thank you so much for making our day beautiful!

Kathy will never know how thankful I am for her! We first got in contact with Kathy after booking our wedding at our first venue. Unfortunately, due to various circumstances, we needed to change venues and even change our wedding date. Our new venue did not provide coordinator services, but we knew we needed to book Kathy for our day. Her knowledge, experience, organization and decisiveness are what sets her apart from others! She was able to help us through the entire planning process, from when our thoughts were just a vision to executing the timeline to making sure everything was perfect on our wedding day. Luckily, we were also able to use Kathy for our florals. She was able to use her creativeness to put together beautiful arrangements. I cannot recommend her services enough!

Organized. Phenomenal! Outstanding Communicator!! Indispensable!!! Kathy Monte provided the experience, the muscle, and the grace that made our wedding the wonderful day we wanted it to be. Weddings are complicated to start with. On top of that stack, the COVID 19 pandemic challenges like crowded wedding venues, inexperienced venue staffs due to the high turnover of employees in the wedding industry, and supply shortages. The odds were not stacked in our favor. With that in mind, we looked for an experienced wedding coordinator and we found Kathy. The universe smiled upon us. A month before the wedding we attended a planning meeting with our wedding venue staff. The wedding venue staff was inexperienced and ill-prepared. My wife and I began to feel unnerved. Kathy had the skills to lead the venue through the planning session and give us the confidence that everything was going to be fine. I remember Kathy saying, “All the venue needs to do is open the doors and cook dinner, I’ll take care of the rest!” And she did! She took care of the flowers, guests, the venue, the other vendors, and she took care of us! Kathy made our wedding a beautiful memory, low stress, and boy, did we have a kick-@## party! Kathy has earned our highest recommendation! She is a highly experienced professional wedding coordinator, a fantastic florist, she’s organized, and she knows how to choreograph a beautiful wedding! Kathy was an absolute rockstar! Not only was I an out of state bride but, I was also a covid bride and she was there keeping me updated with all the guideline updates in 2020. She helped me make the decision to postpone and contact all my vendors to get them rescheduled for my new day. She made sure everything went off without a hitch on the wedding day as well. We have became friends during all of the wedding planning as well. No only was she my planer but she was my florist and made all my floral dream comes true! It was more difficult to get the flowers I wanted because of covid/droughts but she made my flowers and bouquets beautiful! I let her creative juices flow and she did not disappoint! 10/10 hire Kathy for your planning/floral needs!

We met Kathy well into the planning of our daughter's wedding which was perfect - as MoB (with a good amount of professional event planning experience under my belt) working with a bride who had a very clear vision, we were pleasantly surprised from even our very first interaction w/Kathy. Different from other pushy, regimented planner candidates with whom we had spoken, Kathy illustrated outstanding listening, creative and communication skills. Though she readily could have orchestrated all details from start to finish, she heard us as customers, weighed in when solicited, respectfully shared expertise and thoughts for our consideration, and skillfully dealt with a shrew/owner at our venue -- and when the magical weekend came: she was MY rock. She was present, positive, inquisitive, solution oriented and seemed to nearly read mine/bride's mind (or body language), swooping in to address any detail (large or small) without nary a verbal request. When Mother Nature decided Friday night was the perfect time to water the vast grounds, Kathy immediately pivoted and relocated our rehearsal, while maintaining calm and ensuring the dinner alfresco went off just as planned. When a moment arose where I was overcome by emotion due to an unexpected twist by a guest, she seemed appear out of nowhere, offered a shoulder, a tissue AND of course, an immediate solution. Our venue was vast, and Kathy was an expert that smoothed out all rough edges caused by unprofessional owner/contact, helped choreograph moves between and amongst many vendors, quietly crafted proactive 'plan b's and lead necessary chats with guests/wedding party when need to stay true to the bride's vision. Kathy is a pro, and if she could clone herself to ensure her staff has the same calm-under-pressure confidence and poker face, 5 stars all the way. As we told her mid-event Saturday and again as we bid farewell under the stars that evening, I could have 'never done this without' her --- worth every penny and one of the best decisions we made: Dream Team co-captain...thank you Kathy. Kathy, Abbey, and Jenna were absolutely amazing in making my 'not so clear' vision come to life for our wedding day. Kathy was readily available to connect with throughout the planning process and helped me make decisions on decor. She was also able to provide some decorations- signs, table numbers, etc. So we didn't have to purchase them. Hiring Kathy and her team to do our floral arrangements, but also coordinate our wedding was the best decision we made. If there were any hiccups prior, during, or following the ceremony we had no idea. It was truly a stress free day and I cannot thank these ladies enough. They went above and beyond and made our DIY wedding look so elegant. I am so grateful <3

Kathy was great! She took care of everything and made sure that our day went off without a hitch. She was easy to get in touch with and always answered our questions. She made sure that on the day of everything was setup correctly and that everything was on schedule. If you need someone who will get shit done, then I recommend Kathy for sure!

Kathy and her team are amazing!!! My flowers were so pretty! Everyone commented on them and how well the venue was decorated! Colleen and Abby were the absolute best! They made sure the bridal party was taken care of everything went as smoothly as possible! Thank you for dealing with as much as you did with the issues we had with the catering to make sure our day was perfect!

If I could give more than a 5-star, I would. Kathy was the perfect person to trust the details of our wedding with. I am definitely a worrier, someone who tries to take care of everything myself. During cocktail hour I asked Kathy about something and she replied "already taken care of!" (and it was)! That was just one of the countless moments where Kathy made me feel at complete ease for our wedding day. We had a unique wedding where instead of caterers we had food trucks serve our wedding dinner. Without true caterers, Kathy stepped in and took care of SO many details which do not typically fall under her job description. And she did it willingly. She was there for our venue walk-through, rehearsal, and the entire day of our wedding. I truly can't thank Kathy enough for all that she & her team did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect!

I don't know how else to start this post other than with "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." Kathy is absolutely wonderful. Amazing actually. I have never met a more kind, detail-oriented, dedicated woman in my life. I have to say, living in NJ and planning a wedding in PA seemed like I may have bit off a little more than I could chew at first, but thanks to my venue prompting me to hire a coordinator I had met (well called and spoke to her on the phone for the first time) Kathy and was immediately put at ease. She was so reassuring and I immediately felt like I had just acquired a friend I knew I could trust. She was awesome every step of the way. I had hired her 2 full years out from the date of my wedding and was continuously in contact with her on a multitude of levels (whether it be through social media on a friendly basis or through personal contact on a professional basis). She is very prompt with her responses and really helped me in pulling my vision for my wedding together and executing it flawlessly. If your looking to have the wedding of your dreams HIRE VOWS!! Many people, including myself at first, do not feel a coordinator is necessary. Trust me when I say IT IS. So thank you Kathy and team for helping my day be as amazing as I dreamed it to be!

Vows most definitely made my wedding planning fun and exciting instead of stressful! All of the staff is friendly and very detail oriented. Nothing was over-looked or forgotten. Everything that meant the most to me was prioritized. For example, we wanted to display a photo board in memory of our grandparents - Vows arranged it with beautiful flowers and everyone complimented the photo board as well as all of the floral arrangements at the wedding! Kathy Monte, in particular made my wedding more fabulous than I ever envisioned and I don't even know where to start when describing my experience... We got together and discussed my vision for the wedding, flowers and decor. She took all the ideas and created such a romantic, chic fall wedding with a little bling - because who doesn't love bling?! She used my favorite hues of merlot, ivory and blush pink flowers with accents of seeded Eucalyptus, Baby's Breath and Queen Ann's lace to enhance the arrangements and bouquets She intently listened to every detail and made it even better than what I imagined! She took so much stress off my shoulders leading up to the wedding and was literally there for me if I needed anything! She offered wonderful wedding advice and really knows her stuff since she's been in the business for a while! Kathy is literally the woman who does it ALL... Everything from planning, setting up, flowers, decor, creating a timeline/itinerary for the day of, communicating with all the other vendors, to being a huge support system on the day of the wedding! I am so blessed to have met Kathy - not only is she an amazing professional, but she is also a wonderful person who truly has a passion for perfection and loves what she does! I would certainly recommend Vows to anyone who is engaged and/or planning a wedding. Thank you so much for everything! XO
