I challenge you to make your ceremony your own! Tell your love story and incorporate your family and friends so that they don't have to sit through another boring wedding! Let's have fun while including the traditions that are important to you. We'll be serious where we need to be.
I am an open-Minded, easy-going, Non-Denominational Ordained Minister. I have been doing weddings since 2010 and still love it like I started yesterday! I don't discriminate! I believe in love! Not what religion you are, what your sexual orientation is, or where you come from. I am constantly researching the business and watching for new and upcoming ideas. I will make suggestions and let you know from experience what has worked and what has not.
I do large weddings, small weddings, just a signing of your marriage license, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies, traditional ceremonies, unique ceremonies, themed ceremonies, you name it!
The only thing I can not do are weddings of incarcerated individuals.
I travel anywhere in MN (a travel fee is applicable if over 60 miles from Big Lake or Backus MN) and encourage couples to personalize their vows and ceremonies!
I believe in two individuals coming together to build a life together but still remaining individuals. I believe couples work together to support each other's growth and dreams. They encourage each other to be better than they already are. A support team.
Never will I use the saying "I promise to obey my husband"! Sorry guys that is old school! I will also not ask if anyone objects to the marriage. Because it's your wedding and frankly we don't care what they think! Right? If they don't like it they can go to someone else's wedding;)
I try to keep our process pretty simple and make everything available online so you can access it 24/7. I do require us to meet a few weeks before your ceremony to go over all the details of your ceremony and answer any questions you or I may have. I invite you to my office in Big Lake or via Zoom for this. I also offer planning resources.

If you’re looking for a fun officiant, Angie is the way to go! She has the best sense of humor. She was so helpful throughout planning and during our rehearsal and making sure everyone knew what to do the day of! Thank you Angie for everything! :))
Angie was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was so helpful throughout the planning process with any questions we had. During our meeting, she took the time to get to know us and what we had envisioned for our ceremony. The day of the wedding she was so professional and she really helped created a beautiful ceremony. Her delivery was heartfelt and inspiring; we even had guests say how beautiful and well written the ceremony was. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant, and we highly recommend her:)
Booking Angie for your wedding day officiant is the best choice to make! She is SO kind and lovely, and really got to know us before our ceremony. She has a ton of experience and made us feel like we could depend on her to help ease the stress of our wedding day. 10/10 would recommend :)

My husband and I did the online course option for our pre-marital counselling and even though we had been together for over a decade, we got to learn and talk about things we hadn't before. Having her there for rehearsal, you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and worked amazingly with our venue to make sure everything was perfect. The ceremony was perfect, my husband and I were holding back tears the entire time. She made sure the ceremony was what we wanted it to be and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Angie was the absolute best to work with! She was extremely thorough and took all of our answers from the questionnaire to heart and provided a personalized and heartfelt wedding ceremony for my husband and I.
Her knowledge and preparedness made the day go smoothly for our wedding party. She even came in before the ceremony to make sure we had the rings ready and when we had NO CLUE where they were, she helped our Best man search for them.
I highly recommend Vows with Angie, she has a wedding package that is perfect for any wedding!!
I'm so happy that we found Angie! She was so helpful with planning our ceremony and very easy to talk to. She had great ideas and knows what she is doing. She was great at communicating with us before the wedding and the day of to make sure everything went smoothly! The ceremony was beautiful and she did a great job! We would highly recommend her for your wedding ceremony. We had a week to go for our special wedding day and our original officiant had to cancel due to a family emergency. Everything was all set but now we had no one to marry us! We seen her information on "The Knot," and contacted Angie via email with our story to see if there was any way she could help us. She was kind enough to make it happen with only a week to go. Everything went great, she was wonderful and made our day as special as it should be.

I am so happy that we found Angie to officiate our marriage. First, she has so many helpful resources on her website and a private, online wedding portal that walked us through every step of the ceremony to ensure that every detail was taken care of. The organization really put me at ease and made the preparation a breeze. We had a pre-ceremony meeting with Angie where we went over the flow of the ceremony so that we were on the same page, which I would definitely recommend doing. Angie herself is so nice, easy-going, organized, and communicative. On the day of, she arrived early to set up and was super flexible when we were having some timeline issues. Angie also handled our music, which went great! The sound quality was perfect in our space (Sunken Garden at the Como Conservatory). I would definitely recommend Angie as an officiant!
Super easy to work with. Was able to exceed our expectations. She even threw in a quote from batman since we both love batman into our ceremony.

Angie was quick to respond, sent us a great template and let us design all aspects of the ceremony. Angie was courteous, flexible and professional. The ceremony she provided us was exactly what I hoped for and more, so glad we found such a great lady!
