We hired Jennifer after seeing the photos she took of a friend's wedding about two years ago. She was one of the first vendors we hired since we knew right away we wanted to work with her based on how beautiful their photos turned out. I was a little worried about difficult lighting since our ceremony was outdoors on a very sunny day with harsh lighting and our reception was in a barn with dim lighting, but Jennifer handled it beautifully and our photos turned out just perfect. She did a great job of getting us to "pose" in a more candid way, getting a lot of movement shots and asking us funny questions to get great facial expressions. We would highly recommend her!

Jennifer Vrooman is an amazing woman!! We are part of what she calls the FFG (Fabulous Friend Group) as almost all of us have had her as our wedding photographer. Words cannot express how easy Jennifer is to work with. She is super quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have and is very detail oriented. She truly loves what she does and that comes out in all of her pictures. Since the day we met with Jennifer at Cafe Kubal in Syracuse, we knew we wanted her for our wedding. Her genuine caring nature is one that you don't see often. One of the most important things for Joe and I was that our wedding photographer captured us...who we are. We didn't want edited photos where we don't look like ourselves and ones that cover up all the blemishes, imperfections, silly faces, whatever it may be. Jennifer captured who we are in both our engagement sessions and wedding day so well. Your wedding photos are something you want to look back on and say "This is us." People from our wedding party that have seen the pictures are amazed by how well Jennifer and her assistant captured the day. Jennifer knew was was important to both Joe and I and made sure to have those pictures were taken. She's super helpful if you're looking for different places to take pictures as well. I literally could go on writing this review forever and if there were 20 stars, I'd rate her higher!! She is WELL worth her price. She had our sneak peaks for both our engagement session and wedding within 24 hours. In addition, I received all of our wedding photos in 4 weeks, ahead of schedule (and there's a TON). Jennifer has an amazing eye for what she does, and is so sweet in doing so! EVERY photo she took for us we love! Engagement session was very low key and fun, which is just our style! Her energy is amazing, and our other photographer Emily did a great job with a rowdie group of groomsmen! Soft touches, attention to detail, and very personable made our wedding a dream! Will recommend her to all!! Thank you so much!!!

Jennifer is so awesome! I recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. She was so nice and easy to work with and always on top of things. She was so quick to get back with emails etc. and in constant contact. She even was able to schedule a quick engagement session before the wedding for us! The photos turned out amazing! Jennifer was referred to us and we want to make sure to pay it forward. We highly recommend Jennifer to any couple looking for a wedding photographer in the Syracuse area. She was always prompt in her communications before (and after) the wedding and made us feel at ease planning a wedding from across the country- we had no doubts in our choice of photographer. It's been less than a month and we have already received all of our photos and they are more than just beautiful photos, they are special memories. She was just the right amount of bossy to wrangle our family members to capture group family shots. Her creativity and direction shone through and is evident in the amazing photos we received.

We found Jennifer by chance through social media and we were so lucky to have done so. From the first time we spoke on the phone Jennifer was the definition of professional. By being so, she made the task of picking a photographer easy. She went even further and made the process of choosing your "must-haves" by offering a very detailed shot-list and included a typical itinerary of a wedding day. Prepared is an understatement to describe her. Once meeting her (which was the day of our wedding -- our choice), she was friendly, cooperative and I will let our guests speak for her: "Your photographer was so easy and fun to work with." For those who want their photographer to be "hidden," she did just that. However, once you meet her you'll know she's so likable you'd want her as a guest at your own wedding. Lastly, our photos we received only added to our happiness in choosing Vrooman Photography. We would highly recommend her.

We had a last minute cancellation (within 1 week of our wedding) from another photographer and jennifer came through in a pinch. very friendly and cooperative, and the pictures came out awesome! very reasonable and flexible!
