I absolutely loved working with Valerie for my boudoir shoot. Her direction with posing is fabulous and made me feel totally comfortable. She has such a lovely way with people that lets you be yourself. Her studio in Boston is a phenomenal venue to shoot, too. The photos turned out STUNNING. If I wasn't married already I'd hire her for our wedding, too!

I reached out to Valerie after I decided to give my husband a boudoir album as a wedding present. I was excited about this, obviously, but also WAY nervous and not very comfortable having my photo taken scantily clad. Valerie made me feel comfortable, was calm and relaxed, extremely friendly, and totally not pushy. She stressed my comfort the entire shoot. She was encouraging of me and helped me have an incredibly positive, empowering experience. I would totally do it again! In addition, she was easy to get in touch with to set up the shoot, worked with my availability as well as to develop a plan for the shoot, and she helped me to personalize a great album afterwards. She even delivered it to me in my neighborhood. I cannot say enough great things about Valerie, and HIGHLY recommend VS Photography!

With a few weeks left before my big day, I was still in need of a present to give my fiancé at our wedding. When a girlfriend suggested a boudoir shoot, I knew that's exactly what I wanted to do. With that said, I've never had my photo taken professionally beyond my headshot for work, and certainly never where I was wearing nothing but my underwear. So I was excited, but also harbored some trepidation. To say that Valerie made me feel comfortable and beautiful is an understatement. Her studio is AMAZING - the natural light brightens the white washed walls and chic décor (all very white, with some pale pink and grey touches) to create the most incredible backdrop for her photos. Valerie was the embodiment of professionalism, while still maintaining a humor that set me at ease. When I received the proofs of my shoot, I nearly called Victoria's Secret to ask why I hadn't been scouted yet for their next catalog. Okay, that's an exaggeration, but I felt SO GOOD ABOUT MYSELF. Valerie made me feel confident, sexy and so dang excited to give my fiancé the photos. Side benefit, I will also be keeping these photos to remind myself that I am a strong, beautiful woman. Could not recommend VS Photography more.

Did a boudoir shoot with Valerie as a wedding gift for my husband. Could not have been happier with the whole experience and the final result! Valerie was wonderful to work with. She made me feel very comfortable and made the process enjoyable and fun! She was very responsive by email and quick to turn around results. And I was very pleased with the final pictures. One word of advice - I had never done anything like this before. If this is your first time, definitely do your research. Get on pinterest and really think about the poses you want and your outfits! Bring notes to your shoot if there are specifics you want. Valerie will be available for a phone call before your shoot so you can walk thru your ideas with her. Also, Valerie does have some props available - a couple white robes and a veil, I think, so feel free to ask her what she has in stock before you feel like you need to buy a bunch of new stuff.
