ociety played a jazz trio set in the downstairs lounge during cocktail hour. Then one of the lead vocalists MC'ed the dinner portion and introduced all the toasts. and THEN the band BURNED IT DOWN and probably created the best dance floor energy I have ever seen at a wedding so far. In the upstairs in the bar, we COULD NOT STOP DANCING. They played 3 sets, all upbeat, and I was so elated. The dance floor was NEVER empty and I haven't stopped buzzing since. I am so grateful to this band and wish I could have hugged each musician individually to thank them for truly making my wedding unforgettable. They also allowed me to come up and sing Proud Mary with them and it was a blast. Catherine was wonderful about being in touch and communicating with me about all of our needs for the event, and the band executed the first dance songs beautifully as well. The lead singers were GREAT at engaging the crowd and they were GREAT DANCERS! I loved when they would go into the crowd and be sassy and get people dancing! If anyone in the SF Bay Area is looking for a soulful, booty shaking, joy explosion of a band, THIS is the band. I would have liked to have gotten more music from them. And I was disappointed that they were unable to play a song I requested during our reception that I thought would have been a guarantee because I put it on our pre-questionnaire, and it is a song (Learn How to Love You by TTB) that is on their own list of songs that is supposed to be within their repertoire.

The band was killer and a huge highlight of our wedding. They sounded so good that guests who didn't want to dance still sat nearby just to listen to them play. They learned our ceremony and special songs and did not disappoint in their playing...

as and everyone agrees it was the best dance party they've been to in years.
Vybe did an awesome job with our first dance (Lovely Day) and then segued into the brightest and funkiest version of the Horah anyone has ever heard. Through the next three hours, they kept the energy high and everyone having an amazing time. Our vocalists were incredible -- thanks Tasche, Kimiko, and Luq! They also did a great job providing solo piano for our ceremony, DJ'ing music for our cocktail hour, and MC'ing our toasts after dinner.
Vybe also brings an extremely high level of professionalism and were super easy to work with. Their event coordinator Catherine is very helpful and we knew we were in good hands working with her. We cannot recommend Vybe highly enough!!

They were so professional, making sure they stayed at the right decibel level for our venue and making sure they ended at the correct time despite all of the guests PLEADING for an encore. Our venue was weary of hiring a band as they hadn't done that before, and I really hope they become their go-to group after our wedding!

Vybe Society came out for a 50th birthday party and they really set the vybe of the evening. From setting a chill dinner atmosphere to getting the guests up and grooving on the dance floor, they were amazing and I recommend them for any party.

These talented artists learned several songs just for us. We even hired our ceremony violinist through Catherine, and this soloist learned custom pieces for the bride too. Special thanks go to Vybe lead vocalist, Kimiko, but not just for her unmatched vocals and being our smooth but never intrusive emcee. Kimiko stepped in as “event coordinator” and improvised AND executed a timeline change on the fly to save a near disaster caused by our planner. imate wedding (200 guests to 50) and change our original plans. We went from a 10-piece band with string quartet down to a 5-piece band. Even though we were spending less than the original deposit, Catherine and Tasche were completely accommodating and offered to refund us the difference. Such integrity! With all that said, the music was awesome! Since we could not do typical "dancing" and be close with everyone, we opted to have the pods of tables dance among themselves. Now this might have been challenging but, but, because of the band's talent and energy, it worked out perfectly! If I could give these people a “0” I surely would. Dealing with them was one of the worst experiences of my life.
Essentially, once the pandemic was underway they refused to refund us the 2250 down payment we had made for the night of the band...
. We have emails where we feel Tasche and Catherine were extremely rude around their refusal to give the money back.
Our wedding had been cancelled and we were vulnerable, and we felt strongly that Tasche and Catherine felt and took advantage of that. All of the rest of the vendors we had (wedding was changed from May 9 and then Aug 28) gave us our refunds in full.
This this was a truly miserable experience with some people that we perceived to be extremely unpleasant, unfriendly and money-grubbing. It was hugely disappointing for us to have been involved with them. Definitely would never suggest to a friend or family member or even enemy to get involved with them.
As a quick update: As previously stated our date was changed to August 28th, when Vsattui was completely shut down and our wedding was unable to happen. We have sent follow up emails and have not received a response nor have we received the deposit.

It is an industry standard that deposits are non-refundable. Our signed contract states that the “Client agrees to forfeit any monies paid to the Artist as liquidated damages in the event of cancellation by the Client”. He even learned a Samm Henshaw song to play for our first dance, and totally nailed it. Catherine was amazingly quick to respond and easy to work with while setting up our wedding reception details. Their repertoire included more of our favorite songs than could fit in one night. Our pre-dancing timeline of course went longer than planned and the band seamlessly adjusted their set to meet our needs. The only thing I would have changed is to do the cake cutting and the bouquet toss songs at the beginning of the breaks so people have time to eat cake before the dancing starts back up, and so the early birds can watch the toss and go to bed :).
