We worked with Vybe Society over two nights of our wedding. Catherine was very knowledgable and helped us understand the right package for us, and the whole team was very flexible as we figured out we'd need two nights of support instead of one! The first night was actually just for a mic set up during our ceremony and some pre recorded music over dinner. It was really important to us that our guests could hear us during the ceremony and the mic and speaker set up was FLAWLESS despite being in the middle of a field! The team really figured it out and I was so grateful to not be worrying about static or the sound cutting in and out on this special day.
The second night we hired them as a band and as a DJ add on! The live music was AMAZING, truly. Our guests loved it and they sounded amazing. The team was again flexible as we figured out the best set up for them in our family barn, and we feel really lucky to have worked with them. The DJ was a fun way to end the night and we all had a great time dancing. The team came out for a site visit and was easy to work with! My only advice for other couples here is I wish we had taken the time to make a specific playlist for the DJ to play, he played great songs but the hour flew by and there were some songs we wish we would have more specifically asked for. Additionally, as compared to some of our other vendors, Vybe Society sometimes took longer to get back to us during the contracting phase - but the level of service and quality of work was so great we are really grateful to have worked with them! We would highly recommend to others and also will seek out their music in the future!

Vybe Society played at our July wedding in Monterey and we couldn't have asked for anything more! They were easy to work with and great at what they do. We hired them to play the reception, but they were also helpful with the ceremony and cocktail hour playlist set-up. Their talent and energy got people on the dance floor and kept them there all night! They also generously let some of our relatives sit in on a couple of songs. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend others do the same.
Vybe Society played at my August wedding in Sonoma, and they were outstanding! Guests are still raving about them months later. Highlights include 1) Phenomenal musicianship, with every member giving 100%, especially the lead singer who truly carried the night 2) Perfect song selection, starting with classics for the older crowd and shifting to modern hits for the younger guests 3) The lead singer also did a fantastic job as MC, keeping the evening flowing smoothly. In short, I couldn't have asked for a better band for my wedding. Highly recommended!

My wife and I got married in June and having Vybe society as our band was AWESOME! We heard them at a wedding the year before and immediately knew we wanted them at ours too. They had such amazing energy and kept everyone dancing all night. Adding horns was a great decision. Erin has an INCREDIBLE voice and also emceed, she did a great job. We asked them to do Hava Nagila and they absolutely crushed it. Afterwards a friend asked for the recording because it was the best rendition she’d ever heard!
We hired Vybe Society Jazz trio for our cocktail hour and loved it! They truly brought the perfect VIBE we were looking for when our guests walked through our venue to discover the rest of the evening.

Thank you so much to Vybe society for absolutely CRUSHING it at our wedding. We had a really hard time picking a band, youtube and website videos can only do so much! We are music lovers who really wanted people grooving and rocking out all night and Vybe Society did just that and MORE. The dance floor was absolutely electric! We had the opportunity to talk about our music taste and our vision for the night prior but when it came down to it, the band was totally reading the room and giving the people what they wanted in the moment and we couldn't have asked for anything better.
Thank you to Catherine and Lisa for being so easy to work with on the logistics side. Thank you to the band for sharing your incredible talent with us and for putting on such an epic show. We feel so blessed and will never forget you. I will be recommending Vybe Society to everyone and anyone.

We couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding in Carmel, CA this past February than Vybe Society! They were truly the highlight of our special day, and each one of our guests is still singing their praises. From the moment they started playing, they had everyone on the dance floor all night long.
The female vocalists, Mickala and Erin, are absolute powerhouses. Their voices added an incredible energy and emotion to every song they performed. And Catherine, the manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was organized, professional, and made the entire process seamless.

We hired Vybe Society for our wedding in Northern California last year and they were nothing short of SPECTACULAR! I happen to be a musician and work in the music business so my expectations for this special day were quite high. Tasche is a consummate band leader and knows how to read a room. Together with Catherine and the rest of his team the whole process was effortless and stress-free. We had several special requests he accommodated effortlessly and boy did the band keep the party going. If you need a killer band for your wedding or corporate event, look no further than Vybe Society!

Hiring Vybe Society may have been the best decision we made for our wedding (other than saying "I do" of course).
Having been to many weddings I had always noticed the difference on the dance floor and with the wedding energy between a live band and a DJ. While there's no doubt you will save some money with a DJ, a great live band will likely be the highlight of the evening or even weekend.
There are a lot of wedding bands out there, but none compare to Vybe Society. At least none in Northern California. Having worked at a live music venue and booked bands, I can confidently say that Vybe Society has the talent to do anything that artists on the Billboard Top 100 do.
In case you still haven't reached out to Vybe Society here are a couple more reasons...
1) They are willing to learn just about anything you ask and it made our first dance so much more special.
2) The variety in configurations the offer, from small standard set ups to entire horn sections is so nice.
3) Day of they were professional, super easy to work with, and so gracious to our guests the whole night.
Be careful, this band is busy and does book up. Make sure you get your date scheduled and be patient as the weeks lead up to the special day. Just know that everything, even what may seem like a pretty penny, will be worth it ten times over.
While I don't plan on getting married again, I will be suggesting Vybe Society to family, friends, co-workers, and anyone that needs some event entertainment. I hope to have another opportunity to work with them in the future.

Vybe Society is a fabulous group of musicians! They are all so talented. They were the stars of my daughter’s wedding! From the first note played ‘til the end of the reception, the dance floor was packed. If you want a memorable wedding reception hire them to play! And they were very professional from start to finish. They made the process of contracting with them easy. They were very communicative and we felt we were in good hands. I highly recommend them with no reservations! One more thing, they have a great playlist. Guests from all age groups loved their music!

One of the most important things we wanted on our wedding day was a kickass band. Vybe Society delivered! They brought the beats all night long. We had their strings play during our ceremony, and it was nothing short of magical. They also played our cocktail hour and set a great tone going into the evening. The band was ripping it up into the night, playing hit after hit and kept the party flowing and moving. As a jazz musician and former music promoter, my expectations for our wedding band were quite high. Vybe Society exceeded these expectations and then some. Their musicianship and energy kept the dancefloor going all night, and many of our guests came to us afterwards to tell us how amazing the band was.
Not only were they great performers, but they were a pleasure to work with as well. Catherine was super helpful coordinating before the event. The band took my long unorganized list of requests and arranged them into 3 beautifully crafted sets. They were very accommodating to my special requests as well. Elijah helped set up a mic and sound for a song I had prepared as a surprise for my bride, and they let me sit in with the band as well! Dale did a great job of MC’ing our toasts, and they were all fantastic guests all around.
We also booked the string quartet through Vybe Society. There could not have been a better accompaniment for our ceremony. Their repertoire was a great mix of classical and covers of various genres, which brought an element of fun to the classiness of the string quartet. Their timing of songs with the ceremony really brought it to the next level!
I cannot recommend Vybe Society enough! They are a shoo in for the best wedding band in The Bay!

Vybe blew us away! We were considering booking Dart because of their strong recommendation from our planner however their high prices made us hesitate. We wanted a local band, found Vybe, and went to see them live in Oakland before booking them. What we loved so much about them is that they felt like real musicians, jamming and playing great music instead of a "wedding band" phoning it in as it sadly can feel like at times. We booked Vybe and immediately they became one of our most detailed, responsive, thoughtful, and professional vendors. But the day of the wedding was where they SHINED. They brought such energy, joy, and incredible music to our wedding. I cannot thank the band enough. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They are GIFTED musicians, true professionals, and an incredible deal. I can't recommend them more highly!!

Every step of my interaction with Vybe Society was fantastic. As someone who prefers a mixture of online/physical communication, I liked that I had freedom to book an initial phone meeting where Catherine answered every question and asked me what she needed to know to make our day amazing. She was also easily reached (not true for every vendor) by phone or email and very responsive which made me feel better. I do have to say that when everything was said and done, our entire wedding party was in AWE of the fantastic job the band did. They played through the evening and were truly spectacular with every song. I wasn’t particularly picky about any songs but guests did get their requests played which they really enjoyed. As an out of state bride in medical school, this was truly a delightful experience to plan due to their ease of scheduling, quick questionnaire, and responsiveness when needed. Thank you again to our amazing strings trio and the entire Vybe Society team! A million praises for your musicians!!

It's impossible to convey in words the sheer magic that is Vybe Society. Their performance at our wedding kept the majority of our guests on the dance floor the entire night and literally chanting "one more song" at the end of the night. Working with Vybe Society in the lead up to the wedding was seamless and very enjoyable as we curated what type of music we were interested in. Tasch and team DJ'd and MC'd the ceremony through dinner until the band began playing and every moment of their presence was gold. I wish I were getting married again so that I could relive the night!!! They were the vendor we were most excited to book and they were even better than we could have imagined!!

When the initial band we had booked for our wedding bailed on us less than a month out from our wedding date, we were understandably freaking out. Somehow, some way, we found Vybe Society. Vybe was extremely professional and responsive (a stark contrast to the band we had initially hired) - even when working under such a short time crunch. My now-husband and I are kind of music snobs; we both love music and he has been a singer/musician his whole life. The musicians in Vybe were truly amazing and so talented! The style and mix of musical genres was exactly what we were looking for and we danced the night away with all of our guests. The band even let us steal the mic at the end of the night for us to sing a final song together for our guests. I highly recommend Vybe Society!

This band KILLED it. Not only was Cathy incredibly professional, helpful, and kind throughout the entire process, the band is one of the best I've ever seen in the bay area to date. Really easy to work with! They have a great selection of music to choose from and will learn anything not on their list. Our guests really loved the music and the ambiance it created, especially since we threw some surprise songs in the lineup. We would absolutely work with them again for a future event!

HOLY COW! Vybe Society made our wedding the best day EVER! It was very easy to communicate with Catherine and get all of the details set. We went to see them live at Plank in Oakland before booking and were immediately impressed with the range of songs they could play and the vocal talent. We had a 6 piece band and were so happy we did.
Vybe Society included special details unique to us that made the experience outstanding. The band incorporated our name in the songs and even small details from the speeches. We were absolutely blown away! Every single song they played had the whole wedding on the dance floor - in fact the dance floor was overflowing and people were dancing in the grass. It was the dance party of our dreams. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. They were the talk of the night and we could not have been more happy about that. An absolute fabulous band!! We wanted a live band for our wedding this past October and searched high and low as my wife and I value live music. Vibe Society exceeded our expectations! If you have the budget, splurge and add in a couple horn musicians as it adds such a fullness to the sound. The vocalists were amazing! Catherine was so easy to work with curating our song list and helping us through the process. We had some strong critics at our wedding and all agreed that Vibe Society hit it out of the park with their music, stage presence and ability to literally get everyone, and I mean everyone, on the dance floor!

We couldn’t decide at first between a DJ and band, and going with Vybe Society was one of the best wedding decisions we made. (Adding sax and trumpet to the mix was one of our other best decisions.) They kept the party going strong and everyone on the dance floor all night, even guests who normally swear they “don’t dance”!

VYBE has the groove retention tactics in full effect. They bring the heat. They did a great job playing specific song requests that we made in advance, particularly the songs that were played when my wife and I walked down the aisle--including vocals! Catherine, the event coordinator, was incredible. So kind, responsive, and accommodating. My only two critiques are that their sets seemed short. I would have liked to have gotten more music from them. And I was disappointed that they were unable to play a song I requested during our reception that I thought would have been a guarantee because I put it on our pre-questionnaire, and it is a song (Learn How to Love You by TTB) that is on their own list of songs that is supposed to be within their repertoire.
We hired Vybe Society to play at our wedding in June and we could not have been happier! They are INCREDIBLE! The dance floor was absolutely packed all night. Our friends and family could not stop talking about how amazing the band was. They also played at our ceremony, which was lovely. The only thing I would change was I wish we had payed for some additional speakers in the back because the ceremony was outside and the people farther from the speakers could not hear as well. Oh and did I mention what a great deal they are! They were the only wedding vendor I hired where I thought damn I should have paid them more!

I hired this band for our daughter's wedding and they were great with one exception that my DJ had to rent and provide a particular plug so that they can hook into their speaker.
This was minor at the time until it came time for the vocalist to sing a song while the bride walked down and the speaker was buzzing the whole time making it hard to hear her singing. I am not sure if she did a mic check before but that was very disappointing.

I know I may be bias but Vybe Society was the best wedding band of all time. They played everything to perfection and the dancefloor was jammed packed all night long. They even let me sing "I will always love you" by Whitney Houston to my wife with the full band backing me. Unreal Experience. The band was killer and a huge highlight of our wedding. They sounded so good that guests who didn't want to dance still sat nearby just to listen to them play. They learned our ceremony and special songs and did not disappoint in their playing of them. My husband and I had such a memorable time dancing to them and many guests told us during and after that they loved the band and had so much fun. 10/10 would recommend them.

Vybe Society was the first band we listened to when looking for a wedding band, and it was immediately obvious that they were going to be awesome - and they did not disappoint! The musicians are super talented and they play styles that a variety of people can enjoy. When we had to pivot due to COVID, they were easy to coordinate with and were able to pivot to accommodate our new plans. Everyone LOVED the music! No cheesy wedding tunes, just awesome live music. I would 1000% recommend them for your event - whether you want a full party band or chill cocktail hour music, they're awesome.

Really easy to work with! They have a great selection of music to choose from and will learn anything not on their list. Our guests really loved the music and the ambiance it created, especially since we threw some surprise songs in the lineup. We would absolutely work with them again for a future event!

We had an amazing time with Vybe Society! They were so easy to work with in the planning -- super organized and responsive. They also went out of their way to accommodate my 84-yr old grandfather so he could play our first song for us. They are upbeat, fun, and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! Could not recommend more highly!!

Literally amazing! We had to extend the wedding an hour and a half to keep listening to them. Tasche and Catherine made us feel so good before the wedding as the band felt like our biggest decision after the venue. They knocked it out of the park! All of our guests loved them and we used VS for the entire party from the string quartet to the jazz at cocktail hour to the dinner/dancing. Could not give them enough stars or praises! Also important to note that they are flexible - not all bands are and they were so prepared as well. We love them!!

An awesome band that can do anything from Jazz Standards to Rock to Modern Pop, this band is one of the best I've ever seen. Really tight, great feel, and playing off one another very well, Vybe Society is not only five stars, but an absolute MUST for your Wedding!

Vybe Society was amazing for our wedding! They handled all the travel and accommodations to Kirkwood along with providing a mic and speakers for the ceremony. Everyone was on the dance floor while they played with a great range of music for everyone. Would highly recommend!

Working with Vybe Society was great! From coordinating with Catherine to having the musicians prepare a rendition of a song to the day of performance, it was all seamless. We had an acoustic guitar and vocals for our ceremony and cocktail hour and it was just lovely and the perfect backdrop to our intimate wedding! Vybe offers so many options to chose from, be it the type of musician/group and/or song list, you will certainly be matched with what you are looking for. Overall, highly recommended!

Vybe Society played for our reception and we got SO many comments from guests about how great the band was! They were super high energy and the vocalists were amazing. We also used their pre-made dinner playlist and that was a huge hit with our guests too. Vybe society was absolutely incredible at our wedding. So many people told us that Vybe Society were their favorite part of the wedding, and they absolutely rocked the dance floor. Even the catering staff were dancing at the end of the night! Working with the band was easy ahead of time, and even though we booked them sight unseen (thanks Covid), we were confident that we were in good hands.
They learned our first dance song and played it beautifully as well. We couldn't have been happier with them, and honestly I'm trying to figure out how to have another party just so we can dance with Vybe Society again. Highly recommended!!

Vybe Society was the highlight of our wedding! My dad is a professional musician and tough to impress, but even he was blown away by Vybe's tight arrangements, killer vocals, and high energy. Our guests can't stop talking about how great Vybe was and everyone agrees it was the best dance party they've been to in years.
Vybe did an awesome job with our first dance (Lovely Day) and then segued into the brightest and funkiest version of the Horah anyone has ever heard. Through the next three hours, they kept the energy high and everyone having an amazing time. Our vocalists were incredible -- thanks Tasche, Kimiko, and Luq! They also did a great job providing solo piano for our ceremony, DJ'ing music for our cocktail hour, and MC'ing our toasts after dinner.
Vybe also brings an extremely high level of professionalism and were super easy to work with. Their event coordinator Catherine is very helpful and we knew we were in good hands working with her. We cannot recommend Vybe highly enough!!

Vybe Society were absolutely incredible! We hired them for ceremony (solo guitar), cocktail hour (trio), and reception (6 piece band). We loved all of the songs they played and they even learned multiple songs including our first dance song (which wasn't easy!) and the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to. They were so professional, making sure they stayed at the right decibel level for our venue and making sure they ended at the correct time despite all of the guests PLEADING for an encore. Our venue was weary of hiring a band as they hadn't done that before, and I really hope they become their go-to group after our wedding!

Wow - such an incredible group of musicians with talent and attention to detail. Wedding guests could NOT believe that we were able to secure such an amazing band in such a short turnaround (we had a 2 month planning period), and Vybe was so helpful and very responsive. One of my favorite elements of our wedding! Hands-down would recommend them for great dancing and entertainment, and they were very polished in their amazing black tie attire! The female vocalist was stunning in her amazing gown!

Vybe Society played at my wedding, we had a violinist and pianist and they also doubled as the MC for the evening. They played some unique songs I had chosen live and and also played their own renditions of popular songs. They were absolutely fantastic, the music sounded beautiful and everything was very smooth, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for live music at their event!

Vybe Society came out for a 50th birthday party and they really set the vybe of the evening. From setting a chill dinner atmosphere to getting the guests up and grooving on the dance floor, they were amazing and I recommend them for any party.

Miles absolutely crushed it! I have been to many weddings and the DJ sets the mood and our mood was PARTY. He did such a great job and helped contain the speeches and move things seemlessly through the night. I could not recommend them more!

Vybe Society was an amazing edition to our wedding and the music was absolutely amazing! All of our guests commented on how good the band was and everyone was dancing all night. Vybe Society covered all music and MCing throughout the wedding (ceremony music and microphones, cocktail hour live music, wedding announcements during the reception, and live music for dancing during the reception) and did a flawless job with everything. Catherine was so great to work with and was more than accommodating when we had to move our date twice due to covid restrictions. I cannot recommend Vybe Society enough! You get so much for what you pay for and they are worth every penny!

Vybe Society totally brought down the house at our wedding! They got everyone out on the dance floor, and when people weren't dancing they were talking about how great the band was! Not only are they an absolute pleasure to work with, but their professionalism and talent also shine through in all of their dealings. I could not recommend them more for any event that calls for dancing and fun.
We hired Vybe for our reception, and they were amazing in every way. They were logistically extremely well-organized -- they took care of all of the audio during our ceremony perfectly. They set up for the reception as well.
And, later in the evening, the band itself was AMAZING. We had people dancing whom i'd never expect to boogie. We picked about half the songs, and they picked the rest, they did a great job choosing stuff with the right energy.
Vybe society is a great band that happens to play weddings, not a "wedding band"
Vybe Society rocked at our Nov. wedding! We loved them from the first time we met them at a showcase, way back in 2019, and they were patient, communicative, and flexible through multiple covid reschedules. Catherine and team were very professional when working with our planner and other vendors to make sure thing were seamless day of. We booked a trio for cocktail hour and a full band for the reception, and they did a perfect job matching the vibe and keeping our guests dancing and celebrating. Our audience included several musicians, who had nothing but praise. Janeece was also a great emcee throughout the night! We would 100% recommend booking them.
We knew that a live band would make the party, and WOW they brought the energy! The music was great, and the dancing was too. Before that, we really appreciated that they handled everything audio for the whole day: ceremony music, microphones, cocktail hour, MC’ing entrances and first dances, and (best for last) FUN DANCING. They were great to work with ahead of time too, including relocating our wedding from Lake Tahoe to Santa Rosa with less than two weeks to go due to the Caldor Fire. I’m already recommending them to other friends I know, so I hope to hear them again soon!
We hired three musicians for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were absolutely incredible! My husband worked directly with Catherine - from rescheduling our 2020 wedding to going over song selection, to planning through what we were going to do when the weather forecast indicated heavy rain and wind for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour space - she was responsive and great to work with. Everyone loved the band and we would 1000% recommend them.
Hiring Vybe society was one of the best decisions we made for our outdoor garden wedding! They were very responsive throughout the process and their music was incredible!
This band was absolutely incredible and SO easy to work with! I hope no one else has to change their date, but they were prompt and so kind when we had to delay for a year. They were also great at going beyond their standard package to help us create a unique wedding day. We hosted a post-wedding brunch the next day and the caterer asked me for their contact info because she said the guests couldn't stop talking about how great the band was.
This group was phenomenal. Our wedding was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Catherine Ruth their manager was so professional, extremely nice and so easy to work with. We are from the east coast and all our friends said this band was the best they ever heard. It's too bad they will not come to the east coast for our future children's wedding. We could not have asked for a better band to play on our wedding weekend! We needed music for both our welcome party and wedding day, but were on a relatively tight budget. Catherine and her team could not have been more accommodating. From the very beginning, Catherine made every attempt to get us everything we wanted at a fair price without compromising on quality--and boy did she deliver! If you are considering booking Vybe Society for your event, DO IT!
When I began planning my wedding, I knew the one thing I really wanted to have was a stellar live band. My friends and I love dancing, and love good music, but I've been to many events where the live band was not great, and that can also really kill the mood. Therefore, if it was going to be live, I knew it had to be good, and Vybe Society was great! We ended up postponing our wedding by a year due to Covid and also had to cancel the after-party which we had also planned to have them help DJ. They were really flexible about these changes and easy to communicate with. They shared a song list which made it easy to pick our favorites and they were also able to learn some songs for the walk down the aisle. I recommend going all out if you are hiring them and getting the horns! It makes it so much fun. All of our guests were raving about how great the band was and how much fun they had dancing. They were definitely one of the memorable parts of our special day.
Working with Vybe Society was a dream all the way from the start. They were great at communicating and making sure everything ran wonderfully. On wedding day, they were very flexible, they read the crowd and played all the right songs at the right times for what the crowd was needing to hear. Their sound and vocals were amazing!! All the guests were on the dance floor the whole time!! It was hard to stop the party at the end of the night! Poeple were not ready to leave. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!
I honestly cannot express how wonderful Vybe Society was! Our guests are still raving about how awesome they were. So engaging and talented - and such good sports about playing a Christmas song for us in the middle of summer 🤣 Already looking forward to dancing with them next year at my cousin’s wedding!
This band was absolutely $%^#ING fantastic and honestly MADE OUR WEDDING at Travis Marina in Sausalito, CA this September 2021 and I am sad its over. I just want to have another party or event so I can book and hear this band again. The Vybe society played a jazz trio set in the downstairs lounge during cocktail hour. Then one of the lead vocalists MC'ed the dinner portion and introduced all the toasts. and THEN the band BURNED IT DOWN and probably created the best dance floor energy I have ever seen at a wedding so far.
