WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. We had guest given keys to other peoples rooms, we had quest be told to wait and hour then another hour and then a third hour. We also had guest just complain that the staff were rude.

After much thought and visits to many potential venues in Chicago, we decided to have our wedding at The W Hotel on Lakeshore Drive. We had our ceremony in a conference room and reception in the circular Altitude room (outstanding city views). I cannot speak highly enough about... Read More our experience at the W - from the moment we made our first visit until we left the day after our wedding. Our wedding contact, Sarah Petermann handled all the details with expertise and efficiencey and made us feel like guests at our own wedding - we didn't lift a finger! The food was outstanding and the views - awesome. We have heard from many of our guests that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. I HIGHLY recommend the W Hotel Lakeshore if you want exceptional service and an urban Chicago feel to your special day.

We could see Lake Michigan and the Chicago city view from the reception. There were also fireworks that evening.;We were packed in pretty tight and the acoustics were not that great.
