Owner and lead photographer Shana Wooley started her business in 2009 out of a desire to help provide couples with unforgettable mementos of their special days. They strive to combine beautiful visuals with artistic storytelling skills to create wedding photos that accurately portray your unique celebration. Whatever your personal style might be, Shana will work tirelessly to provide memorable wedding photography. W the studio offers flexible wedding photography packages designed to suit any wedding vision or budget. She offers full-service wedding photography in the Kansas City area and small wedding and elopement packages designed to suit smaller celebrations. Shana and her crew arrived on time at the house to take pictures of my bridesmaids and mom helping with my dress. Her creativity was endless! She found a little chinese teacup displayed in my cupboard and rice to use in taking our wedding rings picture. The pictures we took at the park were beautiful. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the color around us; with the bridge, water and greens. I also gave Shana a list of family and friends we want to take pictures with and she was diligent in following the list and keeping the order that I want. Shana listened to our suggestions and ideas and at the same time, she gave us her ideas based on her experience and catering to our wedding theme. Shana would do anything to get the perfect picture for you. One of the funny scenes that my guests mentioned to me was Shana doing an almost-split on the floor to take that perfect picture of guests dancing at the reception. Shana Wooley is the head of W the Studio. A native of "the south" she moved to Kansas City in 2012. Shana studied photography at Austin Peay University and started W the Studio in 2007. Shana is passionate about providing you not only with a wonderful experience, but also with a legacy. She resides in Kansas with her husband (and biggest fan), Josh; and her "tinybff" , Luke.
