Marissa has been a professional photographer for over 15 years. She has captured hundreds of weddings all over the country from Washington, Maui, to St. Lucia and more. Marissa is the absolute best. When looking for a wedding / engagement photographer, we wanted someone that was unique, friendly, professional, and someone that worked with our quirks as a couple. When we met Marissa for the first time and reviewed her portfolio we automatically had to hire her and she was the first and only person we met with. When we did our engagement photos with her she made it so much fun and it just felt natural and not like we had to really try. We loved her so much we asked her to travel for our wedding to California and she came for a reasonable fee and we couldn’t be happier she was with us: Similarly at our wedding, she made all of our guests laugh, smile and made them all feel comfortable . Everybody I spoke to loved her personality and her skills as a photographer. Our wedding coordinator even wants to see her finished photos from the wedding. Like I said previously , she made everything feel natural and I can’t wait to see the rest of our wedding photos. Thank you Marissa! I know in the next chapters of our life we will keep you in mind for photos :)

Marissa did a fantastic job photographing my wedding. She is super easy to work with and made taking pictures fun. I really enjoyed her creativity and ability to get to know us, it really came through in our pictures. When I look back at my wedding pictures I feel really beautiful, and its a great way to remember that special day. She really captured my husband and I and our love really shows in the photos. Definitely book Marissa for your wedding, you'll be so glad you did! Thanks Marissa for doing an excellent job for my husband and I, we will love these photos forever!

Wedding date / location: August 22, 2015 / Fairmont Olympic Hotel - Seattle Type of Event / Final Total Wedding Cost: High-end / luxury / 93k spent on wedding total Final Photography Cost (day of services, plus two hours extra, plus extra formal shoot at a later date): $3150 My husband and I chose Marissa Rick as our wedding photographer based on her outstanding portfolio, the initial connection I felt with her and the video packages she offered / videographer she works with. I planned our entire wedding and hired all vendors from Las Vegas, where we live. Marissa was super accommodating with a Skype meeting so we could get to know each other. This really helped me with finalizing our photography vendor decision. The package we chose included an ice breaker shoot which ended up being like an engagement shoot. This was super helpful in getting to know her shooting style and temperament. Marissa is very outgoing and fun to be around. She made my husband feel super comfortable, which he was worried about, not having spent a lot of time in front of the camera and of course she made me feel comfortable too. The images she took in the ice breaker shoot really captured the essence of our relationship. We get scores of compliments on them. As for the wedding day Marissa was a gem. We traveled around Seattle doing photos with the wedding party in several locations and Marissa had great suggestions for every shot. I literally just had to be there and look pretty. At the wedding, I know she was constantly there taking pics but I never noticed her taking the pics, which I thinks is good. I would recommend Marissa to anyone based on the quality of her work, her customer service / professionalism and personality.

Marissa and her team are amazing! From our first meeting with Marissa she was always professional and easy going, and always fun to work with! We booked Marissa for our "save the date" pictures, engagement pictures, and our wedding day! She traveled to cle elum for our engagement pictures and captured amazing shots even though the wind was challenging! Our family and bridal party both raved about her during our wedding and how easy and fun she is to work with! Marissa went above and beyond in so many ways to truly make our wedding perfect! We will use her in the future and recommend her to everyone!

Wow, what a difference a photographer can make! Ms. Rick was professional, but fun. She put my entire wedding party at ease. Confident instructions, while making us laugh made the experience truly enjoyable. I was in my cousins wedding 8 months prior. I had no idea what an impact the photographer makes. My poor cousins photographer was unorganized, and dry. So were his prints. My pictures turned out amazing! I couldn't be happier with the experience or the results.

I chose MariRick Photography after looking at websites of numerous local photographers. I liked Marissa's photography as it was not overly edited or stylized and the images were crisp, clean and gorgeous. I could not be happier with my choice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her with confidence. She is so great to work with and she captures the feeling and magic in each moment. She knows her craft well and is constantly experimenting and learning new techniques and tricks. I know I will use her again in the future for other photography needs and I will cherish our amazing wedding photos forever.

Marissa was so incredibly laid back and easy to work with during our wedding. She is very talented at what she does. Not only that, she is very friendly and you can't help but feel comfortable around her. I loved the candid shots she was able to catch along with all the tender and sweet moments. My husband and I had tears in our eyes as we were going through all of our photos. It was like we were reliving our wedding day all over again. She will go above and beyond to get that perfect shot. I would HIGHLY recommend Marissa from MariRick Photography to any couple for their special day! Or for any event in which you may need a photographer.

Marissa made the day even better just by being there! She was fun, light-hearted and really captured very natural pictures that truly reflected the feel of the day. I cannot say enough positive things about her and her outstanding photos! We have used many of them to put onto canvas in our home and love each and every one!

MariRickPhotography is, hands down, the best photographer you will find! She has a great eye for the perfect picture and captures it beautifully. Check out her photos for yourself and you'll see how brilliant she is. Beyond the beautiful photos, you will feel completely comfortable with her. I don't know how she did it, but she made me feel at ease while posing for each and every photo. I don't generally feel super comfortable posing for pictures, but she somehow got me to relax and made the entire experience a blast! In fact, she got great pictures out of the entire bridal party and our families. My husband and I had a couple of unique photo requests and she executed them all perfectly. Like I said, she has a great eye for awesome photographs! All of my friends and family have given rave reviews for our wedding photos and a friend of mine even hired her after seeing the work she did at our wedding! In a nut shell, we are in love with photography, married to each other, over the moon for our dogs, and having an affair with coffee. It is so incredible that we get to do what we love together! Marissa's photography style is bold and fun, just like her personality, but don't let her nerdy sense of humor fool you.
