Marissa is the absolute best. When looking for a wedding / engagement photographer, we wanted someone that was unique, friendly, professional, and someone that worked with our quirks as a couple. When we met Marissa for the first time and reviewed her portfolio we automatically had to hire her and she was the first and only person we met with. When we did our engagement photos with her she made it so much fun and it just felt natural and not like we had to really try. We loved her so much we asked her to travel for our wedding to California and she came for a reasonable fee and we couldn’t be happier she was with us: Similarly at our wedding, she made all of our guests laugh, smile and made them all feel comfortable . Everybody I spoke to loved her personality and her skills as a photographer. Our wedding coordinator even wants to see her finished photos from the wedding. Like I said previously , she made everything feel natural and I can’t wait to see the rest of our wedding photos. Thank you Marissa! Marissa did a fantastic job photographing my wedding. She is super easy to work with and made taking pictures fun. I really enjoyed her creativity and ability to get to know us, it really came through in our pictures. Wedding date / location: August 22, 2015 / Fairmont Olympic Hotel - Seattle Type of Event / Final Total Wedding Cost: High-end / luxury / 93k spent on wedding total Final Photography Cost (day of services, plus two hours extra, plus extra formal shoot at a later date): $3150 My husband and I chose Marissa Rick as our wedding photographer based on her outstanding portfolio, the initial connection I felt with her and the video packages she offered / videographer she works with. I planned our entire wedding and hired all vendors from Las Vegas, where we live. Marissa was super accommodating with a Skype meeting so we could get to know each other. This really helped me with finalizing our photography vendor decision. The package we chose included an ice breaker shoot which ended up being like an engagement shoot. This was super helpful in getting to know her shooting style and temperament. Marissa is very outgoing and fun to be around. She made my husband feel super comfortable, which he was worried about, not having spent a lot of time in front of the camera and of course she made me feel comfortable too. The images she took in the ice breaker shoot really captured the essence of our relationship. We get scores of compliments on them. As for the wedding day Marissa was a gem. We traveled around Seattle doing photos with the wedding party in several locations and Marissa had great suggestions for every shot. I literally just had to be there and look pretty. At the wedding, I know she was constantly there taking pics but I never noticed her taking the pics, which I thinks is good. I would recommend Marissa to anyone based on the quality of her work, her customer service / professionalism and personality.

Marissa and her team are amazing! From our first meeting with Marissa she was always professional and easy going, and always fun to work with! We booked Marissa for our "save the date" pictures, engagement pictures, and our wedding day! She traveled to cle elum for our engagement pictures and captured amazing shots even though the wind was challenging! Our family and bridal party both raved about her during our wedding and how easy and fun she is to work with! Marissa went above and beyond in so many ways to truly make our wedding perfect! Wow, what a difference a photographer can make! Ms. Rick was professional, but fun. She put my entire wedding party at ease. Confident instructions, while making us laugh made the experience truly enjoyable. I was in my cousins wedding 8 months prior. I had no idea what an impact the photographer makes. Marissa was so incredibly laid back and easy to work with during our wedding. She is very talented at what she does. Marissa made the day even better just by being there! She was fun, light-hearted and really captured very natural pictures that truly reflected the feel of the day.
