Hello! We are your photographers, Amy and Robert Wachtman of Northwest Ohio! We can't wait to travel to you to capture your special day(s)! We are a husband and wife duo and make a great team! The knot offers so many fantastic and talented photographers and vendors, but I can promise you that you won't just have a photographer when booking with Wachtmans Photography, you'll have a friend, supporter and someone to be there to help if you have any questions, or need suggestions such as timeline, to help with your big day run beautiful and smooth! We offer budget friendly packages that includes 1 or 2 photographers, an online gallery and as many images as we can get for you to remember your big day! I can start as early as getting ready, to the first look, through the ceremony with some formals after, and don't forget that reception!!! I do it all!!! Don't just hire a photographer, make a friend! I can't wait to capture your big day!

Hello! My name is Amy Wachtman, wife, mother, daughter, and friend! I've always been a people person and love helping others! I'm based out of Northwest Ohio but love to travel every chance I get! I have had a strong passion for photography for years and absolutely love capturing the candid moments as well as the posed! Weddings and Engagements are my go to but I also love a good senior, or family session! I hope to capture your moments and leave you with images to look back on for years to come! Let's Chat!

osed to be the beginning of our photographer-client relationship, but somewhere along the way it became so much more. Over the past year, Amy has shared countless lunches, dinners, coffee dates, and even a couple of pedicures with me—including one the Friday before our wedding. She has celebrated milestones with us, listened to wedding plans and last-minute stresses, and become someone I genuinely look forward to spending time with. Of course, Amy is exceptionally talented behind the camera. The photos she creates are absolutely stunning. She has a gift for capturing not only how a moment looked, but how it felt. Looking through our wedding gallery brings every emotion rushing back—the excitement, the joy, the laughter, the happy tears, and all of the little moments that made our day uniquely ours. But what makes Amy truly special has nothing to do with photography. Amy has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I’ve ever met. She cares deeply about her couples, invests in their stories, and somehow manages to make everyone around her feel comfortable, valued, and celebrated. Throughout our entire wedding journey, she never felt like a vendor. She felt like a friend who happened to have a camera in her hand. By the time our wedding day arrived, having Amy there felt natural because she wasn’t just documenting our day—she was part of it. She knew our story, understood what mattered most to us, and cared just as much about creating an incredible experience as she did about creating beautiful images. The photographs she gave us are priceless and will be treasured for the rest of our lives. But one of the greatest gifts that came from our wedding planning journey was the friendship we gained along the way. If you’re considering Amy as your photographer, know that you’re getting so much more than someone who takes amazing photos. You’re getting someone who will cheer you on, calm your nerves, celebrate your wins, and care about your day as if it were her own. On the day of the wedding, she and Robert also checked on my husband and me throughout the night to make sure we were well, make sure we had water, all the things. They were very accommodating to all of our requests- including taking pictures with our crazy pups! Amy helped me stay calm when I was feeling a little overwhelmed, and truly made me feel like the most beautiful and special bride. My family also loved them and were gushing about what a great job they did. I truly cannot say enough good things about Amy and Robert.
