WaConDa Woods is absolutely beautiful. It is like a hidden gem, quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding, this is the place! My daughter and son-in-law just got married here. Wow! I will cherish this gem and memories forever. 🤍 There is a charming school house and barn that are perfect for the bride, groom and party to get ready. Makes for the most memorable pictures. This venue, has the ideal set up for a ceremony and reception. The staff are top notch. 🙌🏻 👏🏻 I highly recommend WaConDa Woods and Gardens! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful venue

helped coordinate a large wedding at this beautiful venue. The staff went above and beyond! We arrived to the venue and the tables were set with ironed table cloths and chairs around each table. McKenna arrived early to open the facility and was faithful to work out all the details throughout set up and the day of the wedding. She was so precious! It was a beautiful out door wedding, with a fantastic reception in the building. The building ended up being larger than we even anticipated. We were able to fit more tables than we even had originally planned! It was an incredible experience!

Kim, MaKenna, and their team did everything to make our day perfect! They were very prompt with communication and helped us along every step of the way! The venue itself was perfect for my husband and I. We were looking for a venue that we could have both our ceremony and reception. It offered beautiful backdrops for all of our pictures. The school house (bridal suite) and the stables (grooms suite) were the cutest places to get ready in. There were so many unique things about this space (fire pit, swings, ability to bring horses on site and so much more), I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I photographed a wedding at the WaConDa Woods & Gardens and I was blown away with every aspect of the venue and how the day unfolded! The getting ready suite had plenty of room for the girls to get ready, lots of natural light for photos, and even the personal touch of chalk art on the wall. As a photographer, I greatly appreciated the variety of options for photo backdrops around their grounds. The barn where the reception was held was elegant and simple- the perfect backdrop to be decorated to suit your wedding vision! The staff was friendly and helpful all through the day as well. Highly recommend, and I hope to shoot there again soon!

I had the honor or working with the good folks over at WaConDa Woods & Gardens when I filmed a wedding this fall. They were really great people. They went out of their way to make sure both myself and the photographer had everything we needed to capture the day. What an amazing venue. It has some great history and was a beautiful place for a wedding.

Like my review title says, this place was absolute perfection for what we were looking for! Outdoor ceremony, indoor reception area, rustic feel, getting ready areas on site, decor options if desired, tables and chairs provided, available for our fall wedding date (November 6), outside of Omaha, available to utilize for rehearsal dinner, allowed our dogs to join, and so much more! We were a bit nervous when we booked as they were still adding the bathrooms and had not had many weddings yet, but I’m so glad we took the leap! Kim and MaKenna were an absolute dream to work with. From day one they ensured that we felt confident in choosing them for our big day. There were a couple of things that were miscommunicated two months before the wedding, but Kim made it her mission to ensure that things were properly taken care of to avoid any further issues! I cannot put into words how highly I recommend this venue - and especially paying the extra money to have them as your day of coordinators. I hate asking for help but they helped us so much with prep, space layout, flow of the day, vendor communication, last minute changes, and being able to RELAX and enjoy our day! I could go on and on about this place. This isn’t a “business”, it’s definitely a family that values putting others first.

I’ve attended two events here, and both were great! It’s a beautiful indoor/outdoor space with the perfect rustic environment! Great for weddings, birthday parties, and I even attended a corn hole tournament here! Thank you, Kim for your wonderful hospitality!

WaConDa Woods & Gardens is a beautiful venue and perfect setting for any event! The gardens and wooded landscape make for a picture perfect backdrop. The historic schoolhouse and swing were favorites for the kids and adults! The venue building is a great space for any event arrangement!

I just got married in September and it was such an amazing day. Planning was so easy, setting up everything was done perfectly. Kim and McKenna are amazing to work with, with no hidden fees. My husband and I were never stressed about anything when it came to the Venue. We had a lot of our guest comment on how amazing the place was. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are thinking about renewing their vows here.

Waconda Woods and Gardens was the perfect venue for our party! Not only was it beautiful, but the whole team made it so easy to make all of our plans a reality! The ability to have our guests indoor and outdoor during the party was such a great addition! Kim and her team have so many great vendor recommendations. We used many and they were all top notch. It made the planning so easy! This location truly is a gem in Southeast Nebraska. We highly recommend Waconda Woods and Gardens!

WaConDa Woods is a perfect venue for an outdoor wedding with the facilities to make the day comfortable. Kim was amazing to work with; she and her staff took care of countless details without being asked. We'd mention little things we wanted (like horses!) and she made it happen without any added stress on us. When the big day arrived, she struck the perfect balance of being present to assist without being overbearing. Everything from the setup to the clean up went smoothly, and we could not imagine a better venue experience!

Kim and Zach have put so much thought and effort into renovating this amazing venue from their very photogenic outdoor grounds down to the last little cute details in the bridal suite. Such a magical place! You can tell that the owners take such pride in their venue, as it is well cared for and so beautiful. There are endless beautiful locations at WaConDa Woods for your wedding day. Even though we experienced rain, we found the perfect spots with tree coverage to block the rain while we finished up pictures. This venue is definitely worth the drive!

Zach and Kim really went the extra mile to make sure my daughter had the wedding of her dreams. The grounds are beautiful, and the reception area can be transformed so many ways. The schoolhouse made such a cute place for the bride and her attendants to get ready. Many gorgeous spots for photos, so we’ll have the memories for a lifetime!

I was recently in a wedding here and could not have had a better experience! Having been married fairly recently myself, I took note of so many special details and thoughtful touches by the owners. They were so flexible and fantastic to work with throughout the process, and there is a wealth of reception space to fit parties large or small. The absolute best part about the venue is just the charm in history that can’t be bought. The school house, the stables, the meticulously kept grounds, everything makes for a picture perfect wedding with plenty of places for photo opportunities, private first looks, and picturesque ceremony space. I would recommend this unique and beautiful venue to anyone!

I love the scenery of Waconda Woods. All of the trees plus the old schoolhouse make for the most unique pictures. It really is a great place to have any type of gathering!

I don’t even know where to begin. I am still gushing over our perfect day. A day that would not have been possible without Zach, Kim, and WaConDa Woods & Gardens team! When I started planning the wedding, the most important piece for me was the pictures and I wanted a place with a gorgeous background. The venue allowed for so many scenes! We took pictures outside where everything was so green and lush. The reception building offered an elegant feel. We also snuck into the stables for a few there and got some on the swing set (these turned out super cute)! Some of our best pictures were at the schoolhouse! This was my favorite part of the venue. We used this as a private prep area for the wedding party. It was nice to have a place to sit and relax before and after the ceremony. I don’t even know that I could accurately describe all the ways this venue went above and beyond for us. To give some additional background, I was a Corona bride. This put us in uncharted territory. However, the venue was quick to react to the circumstances. They built guards to put over the buffet and had servers available for the food. Plus, the reception building allowed for plenty of room for social distancing. It never would have crossed my mind, but they made so many accommodations to make our guests feel at ease with the ongoing COVID pandemic. We had to make quick decisions and were constantly changing up our plans; however, the venue was beyond flexible and continued to accommodate our changing circumstances. Our wedding also happened to be on a rainy day. In the morning, we had decided we would set up the ceremony outside, weather permitting, and if not - the venue helped us coordinate a plan to bring the wedding inside. We had already planned to hold the reception in the building, so it was decorated beautifully – lights were hung from the high ceiling and the ambience was amazing. I didn’t have to worry at all. Until I arrived at the venue, I expected everything to be set up inside since it was raining even on our way to the venue. However, with a quick break in the rain, the venue was able to get everything set up in a short amount of time, so we were able to hold the ceremony outdoors. The turnaround time was amazing. Following the ceremony, the wedding party had escaped to the schoolhouse for some celebratory hugs and by the time we had exited, the chairs from the ceremony were already in place inside. It was such an elegant scene! I wish my words could express how magical this day was. I am so grateful for everything that WaConDa Woods & Gardens provided to make my dreams come true! Thank you to Zach, Kim, and the entire team at WaConDa Woods & Gardens!

We Could not have been happier with this place!! Words won’t do this place justice but I’ll try... Waconda Woods is just so unique and beautiful you simply can’t duplicate a venue like this! It’s out in the country (still a short drive) and was so so peaceful it truly gave us our fairytale wedding. The pictures we have because of the antique feel out there are beyond perfect! Our wedding highlight video we have brings tears to my wife every time she watches it because of how perfect it was out here and it makes the video almost like a movie. Obviously planning a wedding especially in times like now are maybe more stressful than ever before because we are in uncharted territory as far as hurdles and problems we had to overcome but Zach and Kim made everything so easy and are so caring and professional that we couldn’t be more grateful for them and this beautiful place! God is good and we were so lucky and blessed to be able to have our wedding here... I believe a sleeping giant in the wedding venue world has been awoken!!!
