OMG!OMG!OMG! Our wedding was beautiful and perfect. Chris made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Responding to emails fast as lightening! Our wedding was everything we could dream of and more. Such a beautiful vintage space. I highly recommend for your wedding/reception!

This place is a wedding vision and dream. Walden Ponds is just gorgeous. The staff is so friendly and professional. We enjoyed Chris as well. She is delightful and very accommodating with your needs. We just got married about a month ago and have received so many rave reviews about how gorgeous this venue is. To be honest with you in my opinion it's truly a hidden gem. It looks straight out of a movie set and has so much character and beauty to it. If you are thinking about booking here do yourself a favor and say YES! 5/5/ Stars!

Walden Ponds Golf Club is a beautiful gem hidden in Hamilton, OH! We worked with Chris to plan our wedding there in September and were so thrilled to find such a stunning historic mansion in our hometown! Chris was great to work with. She is very organized and professional. She was very prompt in answering any questions we had and worked with us to make our wedding day so special. We used the venue for our rehearsal and dinner, getting ready, ceremony and reception. There is not one thing I would change about the venue... its beauty, upkeep and employees make it a wonderful wedding venue!

Ugh.. didn't like this! After paying to rent the place we had to share it with the neighbors! strangers walked around while we were setting up for the wedding. They rushed us out because " wanted to go home". Will never rent there again.

Everything was amazing. Chris was so helpful and kind during th whole process. We were from out of state, but she was very accommodating to everything I asked and needed. The day of was stress free because I knew she's be taking care of everything. There were no hidden fees I had to pay for later, I knew everything I was charged for and why even before we booked. The only thing I was bummed about was we had to chose a caterer through the venue, and that got a little pricey.

I was just married at Walden Ponds this past weekend. I want to start by saying the this is a beautiful place to get married and have a reception. However the wedding coordinator (Chris) is an absolute nightmare! I should have known from the start. Ever time I tried to get into contact with her she would tell me how busy she was and then cut me short. Many of my questions went on answered. When I went to schedule my rehearsal dinner, Chris told me I had to pick another time because the bride who was getting married before me was throwing a fit. I thought this was very unprofessional to be talking to another bride about a bride. The day of my wedding my mother asked if the floors would be vacuumed Chris was very short and said no. When my guests arrived multiple guest complained about how rude the bartenders were. Chris made multiple comments about my guest to my bridesmaids. So overall I think Walden Ponds need to rethink their staff. Chris should not be in the wedding industry. I'm getting water ponds two stars rather than one because it's an absolutely magical place to get married. I'm so excited to my see my pictures!

We live in Louisville and had our wedding at Walden Ponds. Allison, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful! She worked with us from Louisville allowing us to communicate the majority of our planning/wedding details via email and over the phone. We loved the fact that the ceremony and the reception were at one place. The mansion is gorgeous and I loved how we were able to decorate all the rooms and mantles. Everyone we met from the staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost of this venue was much less than a lot of the other ones we looked at; not to mention this venue was one of the prettiest we looked at.

I loved this location and in May, everything was beautiful and in bloom. The manor house was so ideal for our guest count (apprx. 150) and it was so nice to have everyone spread out and sit on the couches or enjoy the garden area. I would suggest hiring a wedding coordinator for the day of though to make sure everything moves smoothly since there is no one to coordinate the timing of the ceremony and reception.

We loved our wedding at Walden Ponds! The house and staging area were great, especially for the guests we had coming. We looked specifically for a place where we could have both the ceremony and reception as we had many guests flying in from around the world. The flowers were well taken care of for the scenery. Allison, the event manager, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She really made it easy! The setup of the food, bar, and reception area was brilliant. Only downside was there was a golf event on the same morning and the golfers were in the way quite a bit for photos ie: wouldn't get out of the background at the putting green and bridge.

I used Walden Ponds for my summer 2011 wedding and was extremely pleased with the service and atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Walden Ponds to any bride.
