Walk of Love

Having Walk of Love at our July wedding was like having a master of ceremonies and a band all in one. A lot of things about our day did not go right, but Sean kept the ceremony on track, made sure the right mood was set for our outdoor cocktail hour, and helped facilitate announcements and speeches throughout the night. The band kept our family and friends entertained all night. We loved having a live band!

Book this band - just book them. Don't think twice about it, they bring the whole party. Our guests loved how interactive the band. Sean is easy to work with and kept the planning light and fun.

It was one of the hottest days in September for our outdoor wedding and people STILL wouldn't stop dancing! We got to work with Sean to create exactly the timeline and playlist we wanted and he was awesome. I had to talk my fiancé into a live band because he only wanted a DJ and he's so happy he listened to me! :)

Sean and Walk of Love killed it. My husband and I had the time of our life and Sean took care of all the details. The band knew how to read the room. Our friends and family danced and sang along all night. Wish we could do it all again!

What a night! Our reception wouldn’t have been the same without Walk of Love. Sean handled every detail and made sure no request was left unplayed. I can’t wait to see them again at my friend’s wedding next fall!

Sean and Walk of Love did everything we asked and more! We had them handle the ceremony and reception. Everything was perfect! Sean is a great emcee and made adjustments on the fly when we had to change the order of the dances. Everyone loved having a live band play the best wedding songs. We had so much fun!

Despite having a smaller wedding, Sean took the time and effort to focus on every detail. He and the band played even the craziest request and made us both feel special throughout the afternoon.

Walk of Love kept our guests on the dance floor all night! Sean was a consummate professional while planning our big day - I had lots of personalized requests (even some on the day of) and he found a way to make everything I asked for come true. Sean and Walk of Love were so amazing to work with! They were personable, professional, and FUN! I can’t even begin to count the amount of times I was told that we had the best wedding band ever and they really made the reception memorable! Sean was the primary contact and went along with all of my crazy ideas and found ways to make our wedding everything we imagined and more! The ceremony and reception were both perfect! I cannot express how wonderful Sean was throughout the entire process. From planning to playing a killer show, Walk of Love was arguably the best part of the reception! Sean does it all - sound, lighting, production, DJ, and MC. Not to mention being part of an AMAZING band. The dance floor was packed all night. Sean went above and beyond. I sent him a video I wanted played literally less than four hours prior to the reception and he not only agreed to playing it, but came up with a projector and a screen in such a short notice. From day one working with Sean was amazing. He was super responsive and spent a lot of time working with us to make sure he played a show we would love. Attended a family wedding on 7/8/23 where Walk of Love performed. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night and Sean provided great emcee services. We made a few requests on the fly and the band delivered without question. We haven’t had that much fun dancing at a wedding in years!

Do NOT recommend. Walk of Love and Sean played my wedding on 7/8/23 and we could not have been more disappointed. He was late, he didn’t play any of the music I had sent him, he dj’d a majority of the night because he was too drunk to play live. The venue and bar had to cut him off because he got so drunk. The venue has also put him on a banned list and will not allow other brides to use them. Whenever a guest tried requesting songs he would yell profanity into the microphone. He mis announced names. He announced my first dance with my husband as my daddy daughter dance. He took a “break” a half hour into the show so he could go do shots at the bar. It was a complete disaster. The review on here from a “Melissa” is also a fake review written by him. We had one Melissa at my wedding (7/8/23) and she confirmed she did NOT write that. So I suppose the positive reviews on here are fake accounts he makes to keep his standing up. I wish all of them well and truly hope he gets the help he needs because I do believe he needs help, I just want to make other brides aware to look elsewhere because it’s a very special day and it’s a good chunk of change to spend to experience what I did.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Walk of Love. They were absolutely incredible!! Sean is extremely professional and intuitive and made our wedding reception a stress free night for us! I recommend them to anyone looking for a band for their wedding!!

Okay, Future Brides this is the best advice I can give you. Sean and his crew are the best of the best! If you want a fun, easy going wedding band, with the best of the best, Walk of Love is they play every song you want to hear, incorporate all your the BEST! Sean is extremely laid back, funny, easy to work with, guests, there fun, and awesome! I personally danced all night long; I could not have asked for a better band/ dj duo. I had texts and calls all week saying how much they loved the band. They definitely exceeded our expectations. Splurge, and book them they will make your big day that much better!

Sean was great to work with!! He connected us with a fabulous band for our wedding in Pittsburgh. I shared some ideas about our reception goals and he delivered! He was incredibly prompt and responsive throughout the entire planning process. I highly recommend him!

These guys were incredibly easy to deal with throughout the entire process, gauging our likes and dislikes, helping us pick a set list, and followed our lead on the process. They brought great energy to the reception, had our guests on the dance floor immediately, and took requests from the crowd all night. We couldn't have been happier with Walk of Love and will be telling all our Pittsburgh area friends to book them.

Oh my lord! Sean and his crew were so much more than we could have asked for. They were there for the whole day and absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for. Low key ceremony cocktail hour and dinner then rocking out for the rest of the evening. I can’t recommend them enough and hope to see them at future events!! Thank you guys for making the wedding!

If you are second guessing on whether to book them or not - Just DO IT!!! They were the highlight of our night! Everyone asked where we found them! My cousin used this band for her wedding as well & we just had to have them for ours! They are very professional and have top notch equipment! I didn’t leave the dance floor the entire night - I don’t think anyone did !!! They are simply the BEST !

I can't say enough about how awesome this band was. If you are between the ages of 25 - 50, they will rock all the hits you grew up on. But lots of other bands can also say that. What Sean and his group did was above and beyond: 1) Communication - Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule our date FIVE times. By the time we finally got to our date, Walk of Love was the only one of our original vendors that stayed with us throughout. Through it all, Sean was super responsive. He truly made it feel like we were a huge priority - something I can't say about other vendors. 2) Not Just A Band - We knew we were getting an awesome band. What we didn't know was that we were also getting an emcee, producer, A/V team, and DJ as well. An example: for our reception, we wanted a produced video of our ceremony (which happened earlier in the pandemic) played. Sean brought in a massive projector and screen and ensured the video quality and sound was perfect for all our guests to enjoy. 3) Flexibility - Every wedding has things that don't go according to plan. During our day, Walk of Love was in full communication with our coordinators and us to change things on the fly when needed. This ensured we were able to make quick adjustments to keep the timeline moving and good times rolling. 4) Interactive - Walk of Love ensured our crowd felt engaged. They let us grab the mic and sing more than a few songs with them when the crowd responded well and even let one of our friends jam on guitar with them. 5) Fun, Fun, Fun - Look, if you aren't a fun person or don't want a fun wedding, this band isn't for you. But we wanted to keep smiles on faces and feet on the dance floor throughout our evening. Walk of Love helped us do just that. This band gets my highest recommendation. Book them and just know your guests will be entertained.

Sean and crew were so helpful in making our wedding day everything we imagined. Between me picking the most random songs to planning all of this around Covid restrictions and changes this crew made everything happen! I would recommend them to anyone I know. The most professional, coordinated , and helpful bunch around!!

I used to see this band perform in college, so I was super excited to see them listed as a wedding band. Sean was amazing to work with during the planning process and having to postpone our wedding due to covid. He customized everything to what we were looking for and even communicated and worked with a friend of ours that we had play during the cocktail hour, allowing him to use some of his equipment. It was so nice to have live music with it being a rarity during covid, and our guests really enjoyed it. I highly recommend!

Walk of Love made the night! All of our guest were out on the dance floor and everyone had the best night! Sean made everything super simple too, which took a lot of stress off us. I would totally recommend them!!

Sean was not only the best Wedding DJ we could ever imagine, he saved the day, TWICE! First I’ll tell you about what we hired him for: A good time, which we received! Sean played all the songs we asked for, got people on the dance floor, and KEPT people on the dance floor. If you ask me, that’s the band/DJs job, keeping the party going! It was definitely a party, and for a COVID wedding, that’s exactly what we wanted, for everyone to let loose for a night and have the time of their lives. Now for the extras... There was an AV issue with the venue-supplied projector, and Sean saved the day and got our pictures up and running. Later in the night, some teenagers crashed our wedding (I’m not making this up) and Sean appropriately asked them to leave. I can’t imagine our reception WITHOUT Sean from Walk of Love, it would have been way more stressful on me - the bride - and would not have been as memorable, or as fun! If you’re considering hiring Sean as a DJ or Walk of Love as a band for your wedding, stop considering right now, and book them! You will not regret it! 💕

Sean was amazing from the start! He went out of the way to be sure we had the right music for all of our wedding weekend events, and took our list of requested songs and branched off it to make the perfect set list. We had guests requesting the set after the wedding (and Sean provided!) HIGHLY recommend.

Not only were they a great band during the reception, but Sean also did a great job MCing our cocktail hour, champagne toast, and speeches. Sean, Jim, Daniel, and Jay from Walk of Love are absolutely awesome. They were really easy to work with and extremely accommodating from start to finish, even in the midst of a global pandemic. I feel that one of the things that sets them apart from other bands is their ability to engage and interact with the crowd. Everyone had a great time. Truly the perfect band for the perfect day!

Attended a wedding over the summer where this band was playing. I was so impressed with them They were the total package and would highly recommend them to anyone. My feet were killing me the next day because the music was so great I danced all night.

Sean is absolutely the best in wedding entertainment! I saw the band and booked them on the spot for my son’s wedding. He’s been extremely professional, flexible, prompt, and incredibly easy to work with.

Sean was very awesome with communicating throughout the entire process! They played music for my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception which were in 3 different locations. They also surprised me with free uplighting. I even got to sing a song with the band to surprise my new husband. The best part of the night was the last song where they surprised everyone and played Pantera’s Walk.

Walk of Love was fantastic! They played so many good songs and had EVERYONE out on the dance floor from start to finish. Sean was super easy to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a band for their wedding!

Sean and the band made our day perfect. They were very responsive, allowed us to request songs, and even let the bride and various guests play/sing. Their sound system/quality was excellent. Sean has a lovely MC-ing voice. We received so many compliments on how fun our wedding was, and we owe a lot of that to Walk of Love. They provide both DJ-ing and a live band which really allowed for a variety of music. They made our day perfect!

Sean was amazing to work with! From the ceremony to the reception every thing was absolutely perfect! He made sure the party was still alive while we were taking pictures. The music was absolutely perfect for our crowd! Not a single hiccup, highly recommended!

I cannot say enough great things about Sean and the whole band. I met them back in 2011 when I was an undergrad at SRU and when I heard and watched the performance, I started following them on social media immediately. After several years, when it was time to plan my wedding (in 4 1/2 months), the first thing I did after checking into my venue was to check to see if Walk of Love was available. Sean worked with me every step of the way and made the entire process so easy. It was truly a pleasure to work with him. Every single one of my guests raved about how fantastic the entire experience was! Every song was a fan favorite. They were able to read the room and just played all the hits!!! My venue was also very new and Sean worked with my venue coordinator so I had nothing to worry about. I also had my wedding about 2 hours outside of Pittsburgh and traveling was not an issue at all. They handled everything from the scheduling, lighting, to MC'ing to running the whole show. He provides awesome resources to fill out and make it less stressful to put some timelines to your day. If you are looking for something to really set your already special day over the top- Go with Walk of Love! I promise you- it will be the easiest and best decision you ever make.

It’s hard to summarize my experience(s) in such a short paragraph but the Walk of Love band was nothing short of PERFECT for the entertainment at my reception and help up to my expectations without a doubt! I met them about 8 years ago in Geneva and all of my friends and I had a blast with them during their show and we all made friends and kept in touch. Now, 8 years later - I got engaged & I was in search for a badass band to bring great vibes to my guests and I couldn’t think of anyone other than the Walk of Love. Sean said they wouldn’t miss it and they were so excited to put on a great show for all of us! He was so responsive, flexible, professional, understanding of my music requests and of course he and his band KILLED IT while performing! From DJ’ing, to MC’ing and pumping up our crowd with their talent, they are STILL a discussion from all of my friends & family who were there! It was great to reunite with them and everyone had a BLAST! I would highly recommended them over and over again to anyone who is in search of a good time for their wedding reception!!!!!! Thank you Walk of Love for helping me and my guests make so many memories on my special day!!!

I cannot say enough for this band. They were so great! Sean was great from the beginning with actually keeping in contact, not a lot of vendors do that, and helping with the whole reception timeline. They made this aspect of planning a wedding less stressful with how easy they were to work with. During the reception Sean would get down into the crowd and mingle and amp us all up. Throughout the night my guests kept coming up to me and telling me how great the band was. If you want to have a good time at your wedding and you want your guests to rave about your band then definitely go with Walk of Love!

We were very happy to have Walk of Love play at our wedding! We really wanted to make sure we had a fun, interactive band for our guests instead of a DJ and they really delivered. Sean was very responsive early in the wedding planning process and easy to talk with about the details we wanted. I had a very specific request to surprise my brother with Karaoke to our favorite Backstreet Boys song, and they were the only band who didn't immediately think that idea was crazy or try to talk me out of it. In fact, instead of just playing the track they actually played the song live and sang along - it was awesome! They played some light DJ music for us during dinner and cocktail hour, took care of all the MC duties, and kept things moving throughout the night - all ran very smoothly! There were a couple things I felt got lost in our e-mail chains leading up to the wedding. We asked them to shorten our special dances, but they weren't and they had mentioned they would learn the songs for us if we gave them enough notice, but they just played the tracks - I believe this may have just been some miscommunication. I had mentioned a song I would like to be played at the end of the night that I think was glossed over, and I ended up requesting they play it at the last second that evening - which, to their credit, they did! There were a couple times closer to the date that I had to nudge them a bit to get an e-mail response, which was a bit stressful. I also agreed to let them push back our big Backstreet Boys karaoke moment later in the evening than I originally planned, but I was bummed that they waited to do it until almost the very end of the night, and most guests had left by then. That being said, they did a fantastic job, I think the communication could just have been a bit better. Overall, we received tons of compliments on the music and many people told us they'd love to have them play at their weddings in the future - we would definitely recommend them to future couples!
