Since the beginning of this journey, starting a business has been a bit of a haul, through having to start this job from scratch and working my actual 9-5. Time seemed as if their were only 8 hours per day, but in the end I am able to say that I have created something for myself, something I am proud of. Ever since I was in school I have always volunteered to take action of decorating an event, whether it was for school or quinceñeras for my sisters I was always more than willing to do everything myself. Then came the time where I was given the opportunity to decorate a wedding for a dear friend of mine, it was all just for fun. Until she came to me and asked why I don't do this for a living. In that moment I was inspired of what all my business could do and how everything will look and being able to call something for my own. With that one question from my friend, the everlasting support from my parents and family, and the desire to work myself to perfection and make something special. I present to you, Walking Events. At Walking Events, we are well aware that climate change is already here, and we are doing everything we can to help flatten the curve. Therefore, all packaging (including business cards) are made from recycled material, and single use plastic is not an option. Our prducts are carried, stored, and shipped with reusable and durable packaging. We will continue to innovate and figure out ways to help reduce waste with our creations and try to use little-to-no earth damaging products. With our creations, we are more than capable to handle whatever themes, styles, and ideas that are thrown at us. We will make sure that every single detail has been approved in order to make sure that your event is what you have always been dreaming of.
