Owned by a local high school biology and chemistry teacher, Walking Wind Farm & Florist is a unique business built from a long-held farming passion. The owner had dreams of having a farm for many years before obtaining the land to cultivate. During the time that led to this, the owner had sowed land across many climates. The year 2016 saw the purchasing of farmland and, after having spent time caring for the town church’s grounds, the owner set out to grow flowers. Working independently, with a little help from some adorable four-legged helpers, the farm blossomed into a business.
Wedding events can truly avail of something special with Walking Wind Farm & Florist. Table centerpieces, bouquets, and informal arrangements are all on offer, allowing customers the utmost flexibility. Typically, preference is given to locally-grown flower varieties. Should couples be seeking blooms that are out of season, this will be accommodated as best as possible.
