I have never attended a wedding where the entire cake was eaten but at mine it was. If it wasn’t for my amazing coordinator we wouldn’t have gotten a slice. All of our guest raves about the unique flavors and how delicious the cake truly was. I can not recommend them enough!!!

Walnut Street Bakery in Seneca, SC is the best place to get amazing service. I went in and had one meeting and a cake tasting and the rest was taken care of. The did an amazing job decorating the cakes to make them look perfect. I could not have asked for a better bakery for my wedding. They went above and beyond all expectations!!! Highly recommend them to any bride to be, as well as others looking for a truly great event top off!

Our cake was beautiful. We wanted a more simple look and she did just that. Her strawberry flavor is amazing!! We had cupcakes and a cake. Ended up not having much leftover although there was more than enough for the amount of guests that we had! I highly recommend!!!

This bakery is wonderful and their cakes are delicious. The tasting was so fun and they made a big deal about it. Their most popular cake is strawberry so we went with strawberry and vanilla for our wedding cake. We also had mini cupcakes to go with it. The cake looked exactly how I wanted it to look and everyone loved it. We also got our groom's cake from them and it was perfect. They also allow you to borrow cake stands for free as long as you return them so that is one less thing you have to worry about planning-wise. We highly recommend this bakery.

I had my original baker bail on me just a week before the wedding. I called Cakes by Shirley in a panic, and they were wonderful. They were super friendly and helpful, and they gave me exactly what I wanted. Not only was my cake beautiful, but it was delicious!

We choose to do cupcakes at our wedding instead of a cake. They were FABULOUS!!! We loved being able to choose a wide variety of flavors and the display was just beautiful.

I'm not generally a wedding cake fan, and this was not high on our list of priorities in the planning process so we went with the lowest bid we got, but I was so impressed by the cake we got from them! It looked amazing, many guests commented on it, and it tasted even better (their strawberry with strawberry filling was the best)! I was excited about taking leftovers home.

Im thinking that cakes by shirley is now know as Ellison's Cakes. They did a magnificant job on my cake. I brought in a picture and they turned that picture of someone eles cake into MY cake. It was absolutely gorgeous and I TOTALLY recommend this vendor to everyone in this area. The strawberry cake is to die for.

Delicious!!! The cake was even more beautiful and tasty than I had thought it would be! Kathy was great to work with, and the price was super! My only complaint is that I wanted to eat more cake!

Cathy did a perfect job on our wedding cake. It was EXACTLY as I had wanted it. She listened to how I wanted it layered and decorated. I was actually surprised just how perfect it looked. I wanted buttercream icing because I think fondant tastes like mud despite how it looks. It looked so perfect people thought it was fondant because they didn't know you could make buttercream look so good. And, of course, her cake is so good. We had two strawberry layers, one chocolate with chocolate mousse, and one yellow with bavarian cream. Everyone said the cake was delicious. I DEFINITELY recommend booking Cakes by Shirley. Not to mention she makes Dabo Swinney's birthday cakes!
